Re: Soapbox: Why Sword And Shield's Pokémon Purge Will Benefit Everyone

LN3000

@TheLightSpirit Nobody's taking those pokemon away from you though. You'll still have them wherever you've been training them, AND you'll be able to have them in Pokemon Home along with the new pokemon Sword/Shield.
What benefit is there for you to be able to bring the pokemon you've spent "months/years" into Pokemon Sword/Shield after you've already beaten the game, when all the same functionality is inevitably going to be in Pokemon Home?

Re: Level-5 Is Appearing At Anime Expo For The First Time Ever

LN3000

@Jezebel95 That would be awesome! But right now, I've got my eye on Snack World, so I'm hoping that finally gets released, and hoping that it ends up being as good (or better??) as Fantasy Life.

But yeah, I'd rather them finish releasing the things they've announced before I start hoping for other things. I've given up on Fantasy Life for iOS being released in the West..

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Releasing Two New Versions Of Switch This Year

LN3000

No thanks.
I pretty much 99.99% use the Switch in docked mode. Having the detachable joy-cons is great, because the controllers are always charged and I don't have to ever worry about it.

I may pick up Labo VR for a nice diversion, though.
I just hope there's no split sku's that make original Switch purchasers regret being early adopters.

Re: Review: Crashlands - A Neat Survival RPG Which Can't Quite Keep Repetition At Bay

Crashlands is one of the best games I have ever played.
It is filled with so much charm and humor, and you can tell that love went in to every detail.
I got this game on PC and iOS when it first came out, and it has been a game that has remained in my mind the most. When I'm not playing it, I think about wanting to play it.
I am excited about the game coming to Switch, as it gives the game a chance to be enjoyed by new people.
This game makes me happy.

@Ham-n-jam It's a fair bet that there will be many surprises, especially since their Online service hasn't launched yet.
Just don't get too attached to anything, as features slowly get killed off over time. RIP Miiverse, Nintendo Video Channel, Swapnote, etc
