Imagine being one of the biggest crazes ever, selling an entire fake band assortment, barely making money back, then having to do version 2, but NOT being able to sell the equipment this time because people already have it, but still having to pay those licenses.
@beartown if you can't survive a blue shell, you aren't the best. You just got got ahead of the red shell group and only had to deal with the banana and green shell group.
If a blue shell knocks you out, than you weren't far enough ahead of the people dealing with red shells the ENTIRE race.
@Aurumonado Bingo! Toys for Bob is so much more than Crash or Spyro. Let's get some legit Star Control content! Also all of the other stuff they made before Microsoft sequestered them.
@rainbowtick secret of evermore, I never understood why that never took off, the whole premise was amazing, 4 different timelines, 2 characters to control, physical and magic systems...it was so good, I'd love a newer version of that
@bstoppel physical isn't nearly as important. Physical backwards would be gold tier, at the very least, digital needs to follow along. You can always get another switch or Chinese ripoff, but you can't get the digital games back when your storage fails and the store closes out.
@cra1g0s let it sit in a drawer for too long and that battery goes. Capacitors die out. Look at the WiiU, people shelved them and found out 6 months later they just don't boot up anymore.
Storage will die without a doubt, and once the store is gone, you can't get anything back anymore. You didn't just lose your saves, you lost access to the games themselves.
@larryisaman this! It does not NEED it. I honestly wouldn't expect them to worry about cartridge games. The digital, download, games though, NEED it. We already know one day the store will close. The storage system we will have will die. Those games we bought will just be gone. Steam doesn't wipe our library just because we bought a better computer.
@Daniel36 that wouldn't really help, they would just release it again with a mega or ultra or some other, extended or premium tacked on and it would be a new listing, so you get to see it again. It would just be whack a mole.
A duel screen switch that slides up a top screen when not connected to a TV, basically a merger of the switch and the WiiU. It's the only way to leverage their huge 3ds library.
@Not_Soos I always toss whatever item I am holding behind me as I cross the line in MK. It is the way. MK is ruthless. Kindness has no place there.
Seriously though, when you can go from 1st to 10th because of one blue shell that hits during a jump or on a bridge and then just get pummeled with objects... Toss that shell backwards or drop that banana. Someone deserves it.
@Pillowpants @CharlieGirl do you remember the computer games at the time? Everyone was trying to go live action FMV games. A lot of them were really good. CDi tried to be the live action machine. End of the day, the games were too straightforward. Either you played the whole game in live action or you saw outcomes in love action.
Who wants to play a game that ends not because you died by going left in the hall, but because they didn't have FMV to get you out of that left turn?
@Browny I didn't think you were, I was just saying if you thought shovel knight looked bland and uninspired, this looks even more bland and uninspired. No feathers ruffled...I was agreeing.
@eleven I agree. There is no reason to go GBC with this and have the character sprites be only 2 colors. It's honestly a bit ridiculous.
And they are using Kickstarter money on top of that easy and safe design idea? Not going to bother with this one unless they have an updated styling option. If I wanted to play with 4 colors on the screen, I have plenty of old games I can already do that with.
@Bobb part of is glad I stopped the first game at that part. Loved the hell out of it. But when I saw what that wanted, I just put it away. Never played Second. But will certainly be picking this one up!
@TheBigK I felt that way too, but BF is so different and it in no way relates to 3D World. It's literally a side game. I 100% World 1 and 2 then switched to BF.
Came here because of the wall jumping. The weird delay, and the fact that you can stop mid jump, meaning you never even hit the next wall and then fall...I just don't get it.
So many games have already done this mechanic and it's been near perfected. Why make it worse...it's like a fake difficulty adjustment.

Re: Fitness Boxing 2 To Be Removed From The eShop This November
The same reason Guitar Hero and Rock Band died out. The music licenses were so expensive, that without the equipment they were loses.
When the licenses died, they had to make a new game and renegotiate those licenses.
There are games and movies that sit in limbo because of music licenses alone.

Re: Review: Jet Force Gemini - Another Rare N64 Gem, Flawed But Fun
Never beat it, but got close. This and Mischief Makers are the two n64 games I thoroughly enjoyed and was sad that both just...died.

Re: Nintendo Updates Switch Online's N64 Release Schedule
Mischief Makers is my top want. JFG is great, but damn, MM was perfection and I'm so sad it didn't become a thing.
Re: Nintendo Updates Switch Online's N64 Release Schedule
@ekwcll yeah, I kinda would like to play crusin USA again without hooking my n64 back up

@Krytture then the triforce is complete, the story is done, we time jump to the next story

@larryisaman Part 3, Yiga tech, red color. We had blue Sheika, wisdom, green Zonai, courage, next is red Yiga, power.
Re: Time Between Switch's Announcement And Launch Was A "Special Case", Says Nintendo
@Krytture or it stay down and play single screen games, or be docked to a TV and play play single screen games

Re: Nintendo Download: 13th April (North America)
@MontyCircus Mario RPG won't ever happen. Square won't put in money to remaster a game it can only sell in one place.
Re: Nintendo Download: 13th April (North America)
@Taya I went Steam route just because you could skin it since the font and portraits suck so much.
I'll probably still get it here again tho..

@dustinprewitt that's not technically a FF game, I love it, but it wasn't FF, it was a Chrono game.

But what happened to just old school or classic?

@Browny bland an uninspired you say. Wait until you run around an rpg with the same 5 tile sets and only 4 colors on the screen for a few hours.
