I'm sure to get X now, I just hope they don't push it back to be their winter title since I think it makes more sense for it to be the long term summer game. Zelda will now probably be holiday next year, but you got to think they already had a game for that time, probably Metroid with the way things look. So how is this going to shake up the release schedule overall?

I like that the NX hasn't been referred to as a handheld or home console. Makes me think they could actually be doing the 2 in 1 system. Nintendo can hardly support more than one system at a time as is, so I think it's the right choice.

I wonder how much their image is already hurt by not being there. What I mean is, mobile stores are full of Nintendo clone games, and most aren't that good. With most phone gamers not even knowing they're clones, and then to see the original characters, won't plenty of them just dismiss them as more crappy apps?

Splatoon does seem like the kind of game to get it's own direct, but for amiiboo support, every game should have it at this point no matter how small.

I'm in the minority on this it seems. I don't care about amiibo, I think they cost too much, and I think their use in games is pointless. I don't have space for them, the money for them, or interest in the features they deliver. I honesty think they are a waste of resources.

My two tops are Super Mario 64 DS( I liked having so much more content) and New Super Mario Bros. DS. NSMB was good enough for me 100% it, not something I do that often.

That's great for me. I've already done all the walking challenges, most of the short ones twice even. Too bad I don't actually work out with the software anymore.

Honestly, the only feature of the gamepad I like is off-tv play. I normally feel like being lazy after work so it's nice to be able to relax while I play and not need to twist to see the tv. As far as two screen gaming goes, I'll stick with the 3DS, I like the screen closer.

I want to hear the stage creator is back with tons more features.

It's gonna take a bit of getting use to, but it's a fun little game. And I'm getting that itch from it to get better and finish with the better medals.

I'd love a new Excite game, but it shouldn't be limited to trucks. Throw in ATVs, bikes, and anything else really.

Fox's arm and hands kind of look like wood. Maybe they should add claws.

I think I've tagged people less than 20 times in the two plus years I've had my system, and I live in a pretty big city, with a busy road behind my house. I work retail and normally have my system with me, and it's a pretty busy shopping area. That all means nothing when to tag someone, they need to be standing right next to me to be in range. If it was more like a thousand feet, the odds would go up.

Where Sony can't get the Vita in the hands of people because of the PS3, Nintendo has the same problem in reverse. The 3DS has everything, almost, that the Wii U has, other than HD and a couple other things, so what's the selling point, Miiverse? TVii?

For some reason, the first game that came to my mind for them was Wave Race, no idea why. Star Fox seems like the right next step, but since they are a Canadian developer, maybe they know snowboarding. Maybe they're the right team for 1080.

The best way I could sum it up is, left me wanting more.
It was an enjoyable experience, but it wasn't wholly satisfying.

I quickly went from 2 to 4 gigs, and then all the demos I kept led me to jump to 16 gigs. I've got plenty of space, but I won't be downloading any retail games anytime soon.

Hope it isn't dull and rushed. 7 could have used a bit more time if you were to ask me.

This game probably has had a year in development, and it'll be out at the end of the year, looks like it could turn out as another great game for the studio.

Has to be battalion wars 3. Using the game pad to divide your troops and then send them to exact spots. plus constant map access, it's a perfect fit. I can at least hope.

I kind of wanted to see the reviews of both before I made my mind up on which to get, but I was already leaning towards the Wii U version so maybe I'll end up with two great games.

I'll get it, but I hope their next game out is a shooter, the 3DS is coming up on 2 years and still has no good shooter. And no, I don't count KI:U.

I wish all pirates would just go jump in a volcano. There have been too many games fail due to poor sales because the majority playing just stole it, and then subsequently hacked the game and ruined the online for everyone else.

I'm thinking Nintendo wants to put out double dash and melee(along with games like F-zero GX) in HD but with online, and for that added investment they'll probably go retail. That doesn't explain why no zelda, or super mario sunshine, or a dozen others.
It's a way better option then feeding people people bland mini games that are only somewhat like the full games.

My mind is split when it comes to gamecube virtual console. Either Nintendo is really busy and has too many new projects going on, in house and out, to get them to work on the Wii U, or they are doing just that but plan on doing HD collections or re-releases. Since most of the games would benefit from on online component, I'm sure they also need to get resources in order from that prospective too.

5 player co-op star fox, game pad user is ROB in the great fox. It's too perfect not to happen.

I agree with the review, but I think there is one more negative. As far as I can tell, you can only check the leader boards once you get a good enough score, there's really no way to keep up with people's improving scores other than miiverse.

The idea behind kids wanting apple products is simple, they cost a lot therefore they're a status symbol. I remember when the iphone just came out, and the only thing that told people was they have money.

The 3DS needs a shooter. Teens just love killing things.

my big take away is its an emulated version, pirating is bad, shame on him.

that'll take me half an hour, the wii menu can only hold a page worth of games, and all my games are already on my SD card.

Booklet that explains all the applications and features. Since we've been told next to nothing, I don't really have a choice.

I'll just read the instruction books, that should only take all day.

If I understand the graph right, they need some big games out. I just don't know what that would be, metroid or zelda maybe, or just a good shooter. An advance wars or battalion wars sounds like a good choice.

I understand why, but still, why only casual? Oh well, at least it comes across more as a new system now.

I'll just say EA isn't seeing any of my money for the foreseeable future.

got the mutant mudds dlc, and beat the first two. these things have a fair bit of challenge to them.

I think they just need to look up the definition of a generation, it's never been about specs really, the 3rd gen was the 8-bit era but I don't think gen 2 was the 4 bit era, 5th gen was both 32 and 64 bit era. We'll probably see the next box at E3 it'll look about the same as what the wii u is showing.

Did you guys forget the Mutant Mudds free levels, that's this week isn't it?

Although I never thought about it, I guess if the Wii U gamepad and Vita got it on, you'd end up with that thing.

I want the game, but for the 3DS, I asked Nintendo about it and all they said was that I know as much as they do. Basically that it has a different story. I want to see both finished games before I make my mind up.
