I don't see a single game filling up 8 gigs, but say mario kart gets DLC support, I'd be one happy camper to get what could be triple or more the tracks and battle areas that the game starts with, maybe even missions and new modes.
So that puts the US around 35 million Wii units, just a guess. 10 million more should take two more years and we're on to the next system's information.
didn't really like the change from hub world, or design, controls and camera gave me issues, and some areas drove me crazy since they needed a second player to help.
I'm one of the few that don't like the galaxy games, I just like the nice flat areas and floating islands, messing with gravity, some of the motion controls, and what I think is overly cartoony design, it doesn't do it for me.
it might have to do with them introducing metroid to a lot of new gamers as a first person game, that includes me, and then switching back to a side scroller. I really don't like side scrollers on home systems any more. the older fans liked it, the newer didn't, but most of both liked the prime games
the only ds game on my mind is pokemon white, so I'm happy to move on completely. If I remember right, the gba got about a year and a half to two years into the ds cycle, up until the gameboy micro.
how many motion pluses sold is going to be the real teller of how well the remote plus is going to do. I've got two two of each, but no classic controllers
I like this game, except it's in no way scary, until you memorize the levels you will never know where you are or where you're going. So much replay value, I'm into it now 13 times.
I can't think of a game in January, so this will be taking best game of the first quarter of 2011 in my book, for Wii at least unless March has a surprise.
If skyward sword comes out early next year, but after this, I'll pretty much have a solid year's worth of gaming, with 3DS also getting a chunk of my time.
I wouldn't mind them going to a card format, like the DS. A blue ray gets up to 50 gigs or so, an SD gets up to 64. In two years, they should be cheap. at least they'd be lighter and less incline to damage
I thought it could be used in stealth games, you stay calm you stay invisible. or like eternal darkness like a sanity meter that reads your heart rate. or on that, any horror game that scares you, tells how you react and changes future scares by that information.
so he's saying, in other words, "give us a 3DS dev kit or we'll hold our breath. Please Nintendo", then if they don't he continues to half insult the system he hasn't even used.
I'm not so sure Move will work, I mean the Wii doesn't get much effort out of third party and I can only think of a few games that use the sixaxis controller. That leaves it all up to sony to make a good game for it.
How many of the move games should we assume will be Wii ports or copies, or additions to already released games? I'll be keeping an eye on the sight for something original to pop up.
I'm happy that it's getting more time, I just don't want it to close to the 3DS, if it turns out to be next year, but we'll find out in just a few weeks.
why not just sell the add on. I'm sure Nintendo could make an HD converter and probably a hard drive that would work with the Wii, then there would be no transfer issues for the next system.

Re: 3DS Battery Life Revealed
it looks to be the same power plug as the dsi, so I'll just keep it plugged in.
Re: Talking Point: Your Nintendo Christmas Presents
4 wii games, 2 ds games, dsi xl, new wii remote charging station, and some mario pajama bottoms and a mario shirt.

Re: Review: GoldenEye 007 (DS)
I'm guessing there's no download play, how about bot AI? or will I need to buy two copies of the game?
Re: Review: GoldenEye 007 (Wii)
Will there be a review coming for the DS version also? if I'm going to get this it will be on the DS.

so much news to expect from Nintendo, but probably a long wait for anything solid. I've got to go buy next year's calender so I can mark down E3.
