I think Nintendo's method works better. Buy the game new so you can register it in club nintendo and get free stuff. EA could do something like that, instead of locking the multiplayer they could add stuff like general pre-order bonuses. The 25 different pre-order bonuses per game I'm guessing will be another talking point in the future.
online pass is pure greed. in order to buy a game used, it had to be bought new and then sold. the publisher already made their money for the game. If you buy a dvd, you don't need to pay to rewatch it. If they didn't want used sells to be an issue, make the games download only for full price for a few months and drop the price over time. Or they could all get together and buy up game stop and all the other guys.
I think they should have gone with the touch screen for turning and selecting weapons. Like most shooters. It's fun though, I just need to get my friend to buy it.
I'm kind of surprised to not hear MMO, all I really want in the next one is full open 3d worlds, I'm tired of sprites, and to be able to trade over all my pokemon from black quickly, as I do have one of each. One more, high level wild pokemon. I hate getting to the high 80s and 90s and battling wild pokemon 400 times to level up once. Every RPG has that issue though.
That's great, but I'm still waiting for the fatal frame games. I figure they're trying to get publishing rights to one and three to have a full hd collection on wii u, I hope I'm right.
as a point of comparison I re watched e3, and they mentioned by the end of the year there would be both demo and trailers on the 3d, but they made no mention of demos in japan.
how about a spin off where you play in a squad of galactic federation soldiers that are sent around the galaxy to take care of small space problems so samus isn't need to be called in? more of an fps in that universe that doesn't mess with the time line or established characters.
how about throwing in ship combat, like going into a planets core and shooting your way out or trying to escape a collapsing star and having to avoid total planets as you rocket off.
I don't want to play 2D games on home consoles, but handehelds are fine, do a world, put it down, come back later. I can't stand running and jumping for hours on end anymore, that's all I did in the mid 90s. New super mario bros. I've finished 100%, but the Wii game I just rushed through it with the cannon.
only real new content I'm seeing is boss challenge. better graphics and controls are just going to make this the best version to have, but it's still just a better version of a game I've played a dozen times
as much as I've played ocarina and master quest, I would hope there's more new content than boss battle mode, and more changes than controls, graphics and mirroring, like more masks or multiple side quests.
what happens to this game in split screen? I brought my wii over to my friend's place so he could try it and it was horrible. all detail was gone, or what little there was in the first place, It made us want to jump into a gamecube game. that'll teach me to be lazy a not bring to component cables, those seem to help some when I try split screen at home.
so much waiting, I don't have much to do. I hope Nintendo lets the Wii go out with a bang, and nice work on the new tab bar, doesn't really look cluttered at all
I'd only get it if I saw a must have game be made around it, and I just don't see that happening. Unless Nintendo is going to make a survival horror game themselves.
I don't think the game was finished like HVS wanted, I assume they used up their budget, the main issue for me is the game was push back again and again and there seems to be no improvement from it. Maybe they should just take the frame work and start over.
So total sold is under 2 million, pretty good profit for nintendo. What was the early shipping number that made people think there wasn't going to be enough, 2 or 4 million?
I figure it'll still use blue tooth to connect to the controller, I'd bet they'd still just use Wii remote plus for the motion control games, and have a regular controller as the first option now
depends how long the 3ds stays as nintendo's current console. the ds will probably stay in production into next year, so somewhere between 7 and 8 years, if the 3ds lasts for over 10 it will sell more.
I'd like a non damage round, you shoot an enemy and they glow or something so if they run off and take cover you can then snipe them through a wall. Or a smoke round, sticks to them and obscures their view.
another reason to own the 3DS, and it isn't even out yet. I think the 3DS is going to have one of the best first years of any system, what's in line for years two and on?
They aren't all bad, just kind of pointless, if you're the kind of person who likes to get 100% completion you're going to do it with or without them. Jett Rocket had a nice system of just listing them off once you finish a level, that solves one issue.

Re: GO Series: Undead Storm
I like it, I just wish it was cleaned up a bit. I guess I'll just need to cross my fingers for something like this on 3dsware.

Re: Wii U Controller Gets Intriguing New Wireless Technology
