Is this still coming out on the switch??? I’m so so pumped for this game. Love me some evil dead.. and on switch no less!

Man why can’t the switch get this and castlevania SOTN and dragon crown. That’s all I ask!

Hades was great, but I can’t do another… played it probably to much. Was hoping that the dead cells castlevania cross over was going to be a whole new game altogether, not just a DLC. Would have liked to see some gameplay!

@WhiteTrashGuy yeah same, hades, bayoneta and few of the others didn’t really do it for me, but this one I got excited for.

Not exactly a new castlevania game, and certainly not SOTN.. but you got to take what you can get from Konami. On the other hand, I’m glad the collaboration was with these guys as dead cells is a great game. Look forward to checking it out.

@Bizzyb would be number one spot for me, all time classic now. Not too many games go into that category for me.. along side MVC2, castlevania SOTN, starwars KOTOR and some others. A top tier game.. definitely S rank in my bingo book.

Played Bart vs space mutants, barts nightmares and hit and run, all fantastic games. Would love to get these games… but sadly Disney is more into politics then making money… it is encouraging to see some IPs being given new life. Fingers crossed.. Disney afternoon collection for switch, Simpsons, marvel vs capcom, castle of illusion, quack shot, Simpsons arcade, captain America and the avengers, X-men arcade, aliens vs predator, so many gems.

We so need 1 and 2 on the switch.. we are starved for marvel games on switch. Not interested in the Lego games or the cloud versions.. doesn’t leave much.

I would just purchase SOTN by itself as a rerelease if I had to. Can’t hurt to throw it on the switch and just get whatever money you get. We all know it’s the castlevania game we are all waiting on. Just announce it will be getting a coming soon release on switch before Christmas as a great present!

Man I would love to get a Simpsons collection or some rerelease of old games, especially on the switch. It’s such a pitty Disney own so many great franchises now, their just sitting on a lot of these great old games, old Disney, marvel, Simpsons games.. they should all be evergreen.. so many great titles locked away.

I love snk, I would definitely pick up a few arcade collections, I never really played any of the pocket collection stuff, so I probably won’t be picking any of these up. But they look good.

I’m my opinion the Nintendo switch is the best console made. Previous favs were snes, sega mega drive, psi and Xbox 360. The switch fits in to a lot holes for gaming. Once we get a switch pro with a bit more of a performance output and in 4K, I think that will just about be the golden child, I can only see gaming starting to plateau and decline after that.

I tried getting into this game, I had trouble making a fitting avatar and some of the game play was kinda a little off putting. I like the rpg, farming vibe.. but it didn’t feel mixed to well for my tastes. The graphics, art work and sound are top notch.

I would buy this on switch day 1

@jsty3105 I live in a small country town, we have an art house with about 600 actors. There is a total population where I live of 27000. Tones of people could easily do it, what a load of rubbish. Ohhh they’re an actor, they deserve a few million dollars.. if that’s the case why is there so many struggling actors? Actors are some the most pampered people on the planet, and have some of the easiest jobs.

@dluxxx mate the only better then this, is getting the TMNT collection to go along with it. As you said 30 years… for terrific games that should be evergreen. I put super ghouls and ghosts, MVC2, TMNT arcade, final fight, castlevania SOTN, KOTOR 1/2 all the same category. We have gotten a few modern releases lately which is fantastic. Luckily Nintendo has been pretty good at giving us collections lately, capcom too. A lot of these older games need the Skyrim treatment.. always re-released. It’s amazing that after 30 years of waiting for the tmnt arcade games.. we get a modern imaging that improves on the originals in almost every way. Love it.

@Souflee that’s a brilliant idea 💡. I would love to see a modern golden axe like tmnt, a new X-men, captain America avengers type game with a big roster and a justice league/Batman animated all in these same styles.

People keep thinking gamers won’t 3D games with Ray tracing etc, I like a few modern games but most of the games I like have more simplistic or cartoon style graphics. I’m absolutely gob smacked Disney/marvel haven’t made a more modern Version of captain America and the avengers/X-men beat ‘em ups with a beautiful graphical style like this, same with dc justice league/Batman the animated series. Would much rather play game like TMNT any day of the week than any modern comic/cartoon adaptation. Even sponge bob, Garfield have 3D titles… would much rather play a cartoon looking game. This game is an absolute must. This is one of the reasons I lost interest in capcoms street fighter and modern MVC games.. because I prefer the older ones, with a more cartoon, comic look. Less expensive high tech graphical effects, more hand drawn animation.. and just more characters to play.. with a small amount of customization or talent trees, for the win. MVC3 should have kept the old style and just added more characters=win…. That’s the reason this game is so good, takes a great old school group of killer games and improves on them in every turn.

Yeah l, you’re right I found that very positive as well. Silent hill f looked so creepy. Love seeing the big K get some franchise’s back out.

Deserved every penny

Over a months pay for me, and I do hard physical work. 4K probably US as well for talking and making sound effects.. and is crying about it.. you have to be kidding.

I already have an arcade 1up. I don’t have space for a second. They should have brought this out first. I would rather these on the switch anyday of the week.

@Eagly I would pay 200$ for a switch collectors edition of this for sure.

@Tasuki I’m only still holding onto my Xbox for SOTN and ducktales. I would much prefer to have them on switch. I can play it on the tv or take it with me.. terrific. I also have it on my phone but it’s crap to play, console is way better.

@Pak-Man yeah I don’t get this either, should have been a day one release. KONAMI and NINTENDO have always been like bread and butter.

I would absolutely love to get a copy of this to play on switch. I love Konami and have been picking up whatever physical editions I can get, love having these terrific games. We need to get a physical copy of Getsu Fuma den and the 2nd collection. My top five favorite games of all time are SKYRIM, METROID PRIME, ZELDA A LINK TO THE PAST, MVC 2 and CASTLEVANIA SOTN. We have Skyrim and can access Zelda, but we need the others and at number one for me is SOTN. Thanks for the other collections Konami. Love playing them, love having them.

Come back to this, hopefully it will change. I need this and MVC2 in my switch life

@Octane_st1m yeah fair enough I didn’t know that. I assumed Nintendo didn’t allow a lot of that sort of thing. Blizzard used to be a massive brand, the more they pushed micro transactions.. the more people left. Pay to play, or micro transactions is a very short term thinking model. I guessed Nintendo would be more keen on protecting the integrity of their brand power. But guess I was wrong.

@Rykdrew yeah the cost of a car for a pc is what for me thinking about the move. I do have a pc, just don’t use it. Used to play wow, and a few others online. On switch I don’t play any online, just against family and friends at home. Also have an Xbox.. for castlevania SOTN, ducktales and MVC2 purposes. Yeah that’s a hell a lot of consoles, would be worth heaps in todays market !

@Rykdrew na sick of pc gaming. Moved to my switch specifically to get away from pc. Consoles are slightly more family oriented. Plus all the ongoing added costs with pc, security, graphics cards etc: I’ve had just the switch now for close to 5 years, Someone plays it everyday, pretty good value.

@Octane_st1m I can’t see Nintendo letting them put their products with all the micro transactions on the switch, they have aloud a few games. But nothing nuts I think. EA is known for smashing people with the micro transactions. They also have a poor reputation because of it. I love mass effect.. but it would probably come with all the micro transactions games.

Man I so hope we get a physical copy of this for the switch. One with the whole game on it, most of 2ks other games are part download. I would easy pay more if they used a bigger card.. maybe offer a regular and a deluxe edition that costs more with the whole game on it. This game looks great, in my top 5 most anticipated switch games of 2022. But if it’s digital only.. which I fear it might be I will give it a miss. I do buy digital, but only on games I can get physical back up copy for, being a gamer from way back.. who prefers consoles over pcs.. physical is a must.

Yeah that was a day one pick up, eagerly awaiting a physical version. Yeah I never noticed that about the music. I would be happy enough for Konami to not make a new castlevania, although I wish they would… with the pay off being, getting my hands on the all the old library. Desperately won’t SOTN, MVC2, DUCKTALES, BATMAN ARKHAM, MASS EFFECT, DRAGON CROWN and MICKEY MOUSE CASTLE OF ILLUSION for switch. All above in that order.. so many gems missing of my switch.

SotN is my all time fav game, any fan of SotN rate the advance collection games as highly ? Will definitely end up buying anyway, but gives me something to look forward too. Cheers
