Are people buying it just to play zelda?
Just looked on uk ebay and most of the used listings are switch + zelda....

I think the 'New 3DS' could continue into 2019 if developers were willing to stop supporting the original model....

Tried the demo for 1 and 2 and didn't think they were that great...

Got my new 3ds a few months back and took it to work and on holiday in the isle of wright. Only got 2 hits
Finally finished 'quest' using play coins and realized it was all for nothing....

@Tender_Cutlet I'm curious how mario maker will sell. Do people really want to pay £40 to make some 2d mario levels? Sadly I'll be giving this a miss..just like splatoon

I have to wonder if a 2D mario level creator is really going to make much of an impact sales wise. This will be an interesting test of mario's popularity. Personally it doesn't do anything for me....

There is a big difference between the wii and wii u. The wii ran on the bare hardware which meant game code had to optimized just for the PPC750.
So they were forced to re-use it to get 100% compatibility.
The wii u has an operating system that sits on top of the hardware, which means code doesn't need to be so finely tuned. Nano Assault Neo being ported to PS4 is a good example of this.

I count at least eight tracks - Jungle / Snow / Lava / Desert / Underwater / Planet Orbit / Ground City / Cloud City.
I'm also 99% certain they'll be lots of references to their past games.
Ashamed to say I've never played one, but this looks like a good place to start!

@felix330 X likely stores its data in just a couple of big files. They can't just copy the whole file, so they extract the critical data to make the download packs. Then it goes on the eshop because its free and easy to access.

I find it amusing that wii u owners rush out and buy a hard drive.
Haven't you already 'paid' for that disc drive that's sitting idle?

Battles seem to have depth, instead of 'Attack, Attack, Heal'.
The music sounds cool as well.
Now they just need to say if your character speaks and if they'll be amiibo support....
