Re: "Realistic Pokémon" Artist Landed Detective Pikachu Movie Job After Being Discovered On Google

KcebEnyaw

This movie would have failed epically if they tried to use normal Pokemon styling. It would have looked so cheesy and bad, the vast majority of people would be turned off.

This styling, with a more realistic take on the Pokemon, made this Trailer look like it was made for a MCU quality movie. This movie is probably going to be a huge success now and a big chunk of that success is going to be how successfully they made the Pokemon look like they belonged in the world.

A lot of Rose Colored Glasses in here.

I played Banjo Kazooie a few weeks ago and it looks pretty much like that.

I'm pretty sure most of the complaints about this game come from people who honestly don't remember how obnoxious N64 3D Platformers Really Were. Banjo in particular has what might be the worst controls in any game I have ever played.

Re: Video: Nintendo Switch Online Cloud Saves Offer Peace of Mind, But It’s Not Quite There Yet

I can't really watch the Video RIght Now, but I dunno what possible complaints people could have about the Cloud Saves. It's basically perfect.

Software not supporting the Feature is a Flaw in the Software, not the Feature.

You can Activate Cloud Saves for Every Game or Pick and Choose which games you want to use the feature and if the cloud detects a conflict, it disables the Auto Cloud Save Feature until you review the Conflict.

The two best features that came out of this are:

You can now download your games on multiple Switches and if you disable cloud saves on the secondary switches, people can just use your profile to play your games.
OR
You can Set a second Persons console as your Primary Console and Set your Console as their Primary Console and share all your games between two consoles.

and

If you have a Profile on Multiple Switches Already, you can link your Nintendo Account to All of those Profiles and it will convert them into your Single Account and Compile all of your Saves in the Cloud. IF you have saves for the same game on two profiles, it will automatically disable cloud saving for that game until you pick the save you want and delete the other one.

Re: Guide: How Cloud Saves Work In Nintendo Switch Online

Holy Freakin God what is happening on this website. They released a Third Article with this False information in it? Get another Source.

You're cloud saves are not deleted as soon as your subscription lapses. Nintendo will not guarantee that your Saves will be maintained if your subscription lapses. That is very different. They are not actively hunting down lapsed subscriptions and scrubbing their saves.

It is not up to developers to enable cloud saves. Cloud Saves are enabled by default. Developers have the option to request the feature be disabled. This is very very different.

Finally, Nintendo has already explicitly stated that if you sign in to another Nintendo Switch with your account, your saves will automatically be available.

"Save Data Cloud Backup
Players with a Nintendo Switch Online membership can save game data online for compatible games. Save data is linked to your Nintendo Account, so you can access it from any Nintendo Switch system by signing in and downloading your save data."

Edit:
" Yes, they're finally arriving on Thursday when the online service finally launches."

The service launches tomorrow.

Seriously who wrote this article? Did they do any research?

Re: Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu And Eevee Demo Reveals How Shiny Pokémon Will Be Found

KcebEnyaw

Wow, whole lot of people spewing BS about RPGs in here huh?

Pokemon: Let's Go is a Dumbed Down RPG because they removed random battles, the single most loathed mechanic of JRPGS since the NES?

Pokemon go is now Easy because you don't have to fight Random Battles? Which pokemon game was Hard because of Random Battles? Literally all this is changing is that you don't have to spend a bunch of in-game currency on Repel.

You still have to go out and hunt for pokemon to catch

You still only have a very small chance of catching a shiny

You still have to battle all of the trainers en-route to your next destination

You still have to battle Legendary Pokemon

You still have to battle Gym Leaders.

God forbid you don't have to stop every 5 seconds to one shot random obnoxious pokemon or walk in circles for 7 hours to level up a new pokemon.

@thesilverbrick You have no Idea if EVs have Been Removed. They very well could have been kept in place or changed to a new better system. The Whole IV/EV System has been completely broken since the series came out anyway. Random encounters, on the other hand, have always been the Worst Part of Pokemon. They suck when you're trying to Travel, they suck when you're Trying to Collect Pokemon and they Suck when you're trying to Train Pokemon. I can't think of a single Positive reason to keep random Encounters in the game. You could make the argument that you should have to fight to weaken wild Pokemon, but the only thing that ever really added to the game was accidentally killing a weak Pokemon you were trying to catch. The only battles that actually matter in a Pokemon game are trainer battles and legendary battles.
