@BB Sting . Nintendo owns the Donky Kong franchise meaning if thaey want to release it on Virtual Console Nintendo have full right to relesde it on Virtual Console & Rare can't do a thing, they even said it themselfs .
All we need to do now is send complaint letters . NOT Emails as they can easily be filtered out but physical letters to both Rare & Microsoft . Unfortunately in the end Rare let themselves be bought out by Microsoft .
@zss_shadow Corbie was jocking in the past i never took that comment myself as a serious comment .
@Corbie Great review & i love reading every bit off it even without ant intention of downloading it .
66 blocks it must be the smalles WiiWare game ever . Well if a real NES game takes only a few blocks there is no need for a fake NES game to blout out to a few hundred blocks .
I just stick to the classic controller myself as the cord doesn't bother me .
And as for using the analog stick in the home menu the curser appears in all cc conpatible games via cc controls only & it shouldent be any different with this .
You appear to forget to test the analog sticks as in wether they have the full movement or cut off just like you expect from aftermarket controllers .
Rats not only Europe get these games an hour earlier than Australia but the delays in getting the commodore 64 titles here mean Australia doesn't have any 250th title yet .
At least theres the master system for me to try out .
Oh rattata i allready put my ranch in SD storage & i have to take it out for an update . Im sure hope the Pokémon Battle Revolution will be platnim combatible .
Gee a 3 a pretty low score . A least i can tell you prefer a diffent puzzler via your avater Drake which is an image of the always cute Toki Tori I love that game .
@Corbie I didn't reconize you a first because of your avatar & i thought you were going to return that sickle back .
there is some memory that is set aside for the message board which can't be used by games & save files which is only 300MB . tso the meassage board the OS & settings takes up about aprox 215 MB so thats a fair chunk so SuperSonic is halfway right but at the same time wrong .
I wouldn't mind an SD card solution . While SD cards may be slow but it shouldn't be any slower than the old carts that the NES, SNES, Megadrive, Master System, Neo Geo, Turbografx Ect are on in fact the slowest of todays SD cards should be faster .
Think of the internal flash the Wii have it should be similar speed as an SD card so SD cards should be no problem .
@ Dazza . I didn't realise that corbie's a big time Japanese importer .
Well i only managed to get some American imports that i managed to get that i happen to find at GameTraders that intreast me at the time e.g. Final Fantasy V & VI GBA games & Pocket Megadrive .
@Pegasus I feel you pain too as its keep getting harder & harder to decide what to delete . While i do have an SD card with all my games backedup on it but still we all need a storage solution . Anyway i can't wait till this gamme gets released here in Australia .
Intreasting . A title a differently looking forward to . Unfortunately the only problem is in looking forward to games like this is having to retire games to storage .
Well the game got some nice ideas in it & hopefully get the number of downloads it deservesd (Unlike Toke Tori we miss you) .
Look worring with the slowdown . Then again with the OFLC side of things that if a game been rated since 1994 (i think) it doesn't have to be re-rated as the original ratings still stand so this might mean some games might arrive in the Shop Channel as a suprise but still i don't know how the USK ratings work .
But still we can laugh at the ESRB's stuffing up lol
I just looked thru the instructions for MaBo Shi seams intreasting enouth & whoever at Wiiware world give the game a rating of at least 6 i would possibly download it but Im not sure on what game to delete next .
Soon hopefully soon i would be able to play games off of my 2GB SD card . Hopefully .
@MrPingGuy i had that same thought as well a WiiWare remake with ehanced diffenition graphich's added features ect plus it will emulate the lockon feature with the same ehancements as well .
@Rexy You know how i fell about Mario RPG so far its a great game . It may be a simple RPG as compaired to many other RPG'S (e.g. Final Fantasy) but still its great .
@timp29 We Australians appears to get the new game an hour or 2 later then europeans even thru we are accessing the same servers & Adelaide time at least should get it at 10:00 AM half an hour away from the time of posting this . Finally a game ive been waiting is out .
I i need to do now is decide what to deleta . Don't worry i backed up everything to SD card .
Poor Toki Tori . At least its still im my Wii's main memory which shows that i loved the game & its great .
For those who want Toki Tori but restricted by storage then may i suggest you get a 2GB SD card to store some of your least played games on it as it contains approx 5 to 6 times stroage for games & save data as compared to under 300MB of the 512MB internal storage thats been set aside for games & save files . That way then you could help & bring Toki Tori back to the list .
While at first this may seem boring & the video doesn't help but if they can (pardon my pun) build up the strategy side of things with this game right it might turn out to be a great game but we have to wait & see .
Save Toki Tori . Save Toki Tori . Hes so cute . Well last week i bought that game leaving 3100 points left in my account & emptying my Wii menu even more . Still its wortyh a download as i loved that game & i even got a Toko Tori wallpaper for my pda .
I guess it isnt called “Strongbad's Cool game for attractive people” for nothing then . I guess its “Strongbads squissed game for attractive people” then . At least as this is a downloadable game meaning you can download a patch unlike for example Guitar Hero III where you have to order in a replacement disc to fix the audio issues .
@Cooldued59 144mb is something if you think about the fact that only just less than 300mb of the Wii's storage is only used for games & storage . Its a real shame that you can't used the partion on memory that is set aside for the message board photos for that irpose instead .
while that is nothing as compared to using ma 2GB SD card as my card still have a whopping amount of room in it still but let i ended up having to delete a lot of games & it's getting harder deciding what to deleate every time .
I can't wait for Nintendo's solution this this mess .
Seams like the Pay'nPlay service really taking off . First Final Fantasy: Crystal Cronicals: My life as a king then Guitar Hero: World Tour & now this . I would be wondering what the next game that uses the Pay'nPlay service .
It looks like i must but some points card today & put up even more strage related frustration just so i cam save Toki Tori a cutley but weird little bird .
Wel many games released are good for some people but for other's really a big brown soft & steamy crap so this guy is sortive wrong .
I see the problem is some people have too high expectations for some thing's & for that get dissopointed in the end . But still im not dissipointed at the Virtual Console not at all & a lot of games that as licening issues that prevent Nintendo from releasing those games . I wish i had the url for the Virtual Console Reviews articale explaning it readdy here but still there is nothing dissopointing about the Virtual Console .
Pokémon Ranch is not as bad as it first seams but i do agree its certainly not for everybody . But still it's also a shame that the memory that's set aside for the message board can't be used for games .
Concerning th SD card limits the Wii has . Whe Wii is not compatible with SDHC meaning that the wii can't accept anything higher than 2GB as i heard one of you guys thinking you could use a 16GB card so in fact you can really able to have a limit of 2GB which is about 6 or 7 times more games & saves you can store there as compared to the Wii's partioned of section of its internal flash for the same perpose .
In fact me myself don't think i need any more than one 2GB card .
Hopefully i can use my SD card to run games off of it as it has over 10000 blocks still left on it & i backed up everything on to it & let i had to delete some stuff on my Wii about 5 or 6 games & i only got 40 blocks left (approx) . Meaning the SD card of mine is more than enouth for me & i imagine for most people .
Nothing for me this week but still wainting for the Commodore 64 hit Australia as they are comming as via a leak in the Nintendo Channel with Paradroid .
Gee no Wii points as my family doesn't use credit cards . I would be rather print them at home instead . Im also guessing this be a Japanese only thing .
@Omega While i admit that i never played any Megaman games but i do believe there are a few different sorts of megaman storylines depending which megaman series you talking about . Besides this os more of a joke of the old Megaman coverart in fact overall americanised coverarts in all . Back in the 80's while there are a number of boxarts that are cutsie or anime styled but the american or european publishers didn't think those cover would appeal to games . So they hired artist to create new boxarts which they only got the faintest idea or even no idea of the game they are trying to portray so the end result is a cover that is the opposite of what the game is really about .
If you look mup about boxarts on the web of those games you will see what i mean .
