@BlueFlameBat: Capcom has nothing to do with Shantae. It's being developed by WayForward, who did Boy and his Blob Wii and Mighty Flip Champs on DSiWare.
There's nothing illegal about the Remote recognizing part; my Macbook recognizes Wii controllers just fine through bluetooth. Emulators themselves aren't illegal either, it's the ROMs that are, and I don't think Google is distributing those on their app store.
@ejamer: Dead Rising was a port of a 360 game and not Wii exclusive. Spyborgs was pretty basic but had its moments. Neither are really of the same calibre as a SFIV or MvC3.
@Sean007s: The events of NMH2 take place three years after those of NMH1, not real-world years (although coincidentally they were released three years apart, 2007 and 2010).
@Ren: There are strong similarities between the two, and while they are indeed separate games I don't see these questions as anything that would sort of diminish what Akaoni is doing. Quality notwithstanding, were people not supposed to ask John Romero the difference between Doom and Daikatana? Not ask Carmack about the similarities of Doom and Quake?
And don't people usually complain about game interview questions not prying enough? I apologize to Manuel if I came across as rude to him, but I think these are valid questions. I disagree with those who call this a "port" of BBQ as it's clearly not.
@brandonbwii: I think what he means is that the controls will be more Wii-centric, with more motion and IR as opposed more "traditional" stuff. I don't want to speak for them because I don't know, but that was my understanding at least.
I'm sadly a little bogged down for DS games, but this one is definitely on my radar now. I love Critter Crunch so I'll play pretty much any puzzle-type game Capybara whips up.
I saw that in the OP guide, but in-game there is no discernible difference between the swords' special attacks besides color.
@jangonov: Nope. This was clearly designed for M+ and it'd seem silly to detract from the score for including the ability to let everyone play. Those controls may be kinda bad, but they're not the intended way to play either.
I think this one live up to all of those, no? I say "any crazy idea" loosely, sort of in reference to those horse saddle and football peripherals that Nintendo patented a little while ago.
@lz: Id imagine Xbox is trademarked by Microsoft. Looking at figure 4 that's clearly not a Remote, looks more like a CC or SNES pad and clearly not the Wii's primary input. I think it's just for illustrative purposes.
@postmanX3: This version is pretty much the same content as what's currently in the App Store. It's certainly a lot of stuff, but yeah, it's unfortunate that they might not bring any eventual new content to this platform. No "hooks" for it in-game, so this is it pretty much!
@nitro_rev: I felt the same way when I heard it was converting into a menu system. I had a lot of fun running around on my second playthrough digging up concept art and stuff too. What's here works though, and there's plenty of replay value in the side jobs and Deathmatch!

Still, cool beans.

Re: Nintendo's 3DS Announcement Wasn't Supposed to Happen Like That
@Shugo: "The original DS, a totally new console, came out in the US barely ten days after it hit Japan."
It was the other way around. US first.
@Kimiko: Because it looks cool.
@RowdyRodimus: That's a little overkill, no?

I remember there being some rumblings about an iPhone app, but DS? I shudder at the low-res screen.

Re: Interviews: Readers Ask Steve Wiebe
It was plenty appropriate, he just sorta answered that question when asked about whether he'd be taking on DK3 down the line.
Also, thanks to everyone who contributed a question! There were a lot of good ones, which made it tough to whittle down to just a handful or so.
Re: Review: Star Wars: Flight of the Falcon (Game Boy Advance)
Oh man, Yoda Stories was on GBC? I remember playing that on PC and liking it actually. Not sure how well it would've held up on lesser hardware. :

So there's an amazing AAA Nintendo release every other week from the end of May through June? There goes my gaming budget.
