Re: Feature: Nintendo 64 Let-Downs, Head Scratchers and Conundrums

@Omenapoika: You're definitely not the only one. While I didn't do it myself (I had seen others playing at demo kiosks before I got to try) I had to explain to quite a few people that not only was it OK to hold it there but the button below was important.

Sometimes we have people over for Mario Party who are new to games and they still get it wrong. Not the most intuitive controller!

Re: Expect New Product Announcements at 3DS Conference

This is the same conference that in the past has yielded reveals of Punch-Out!! Wii and Sin and Punishment 2. It's nothing new or crazy for Nintendo to hold one and its timing right before TGS would be the perfect opportunity to announce, say, Monster Hunter 3DS or (I'd poo myself) a new F-Zero.

I wouldn't expect much in the way of new hardware.

Re: Review: Conduit 2 (Wii)

@46: If an indie platformer did nothing new with the platforming formula and actually executed parts of it considerably worse than its peers then yes I'd say it's a valid criticism. Even without looking at other Wii shooters, Conduit 2 is often annoying, underwhelming and half-baked.

I didn't really get into VOID for a while since I thought it was a little too mellow and floaty for my tastes, but going back to it for writing this made me really come to appreciate it more. Still can't play CORE without exploding my brain though, which makes it my least favorite.
