I can't get over the cheap flash game graphical style they went for. I mean why? Even Harvest Moon SNES looks better artistically than this. It's like a fan made flash HM game or something someone made in RPG Maker lol.

@YamAsereht If that's true I'll be happier then. Love me some Fatal Fury coop. Lots of fun memories of side scrolling beat em up coop action with games like that.

@RusevDay I may have been clickbaited by them in the past I don't know. But this is the first time I can remember feeling misled by a clickbait article title on their twitter.

Definitely an annoyance for me. Especially on sites I feel like don't usually do that. Hopefully this is a rare thing.

Got this on 3ds for like a dollar and change during a sale. $15 is way too much of an asking price for this game in my opinion. If you're interested, wait for it to be $5 or less.

As for him quitting, he wrote a whole article about it awhile back. From what I remember the blame was put mostly on reactions to his Zelda BOTW review. Something about being tired of the criticism and backlash. Which confused me because I thought he lived for that stuff.

If there's a 10/10 review that treats people the same way as this 7.5 review then their opinion is invalid as well. It goes both ways.

@joedick Yeah exactly my thoughts. They can give it whatever score they want for whatever reasons they want as long as they explain it. But when a reviewer acts like that about it, their opinion immediately becomes invalid for me.

@frogopus Think you got the quotes mixed up lol. I've never even played Tony Hawk. As far as the review I've been talking about I don't think you understand. I don't care what country the review is from. If you resort to insulting other people's views who are enjoying the game for their own reasons because apparently your view is law, then your review means nothing to me and you shouldn't be reviewing.

@joedick When a reviewer calls me a zombie for enjoying the game regardless of the score, I'm gonna be a tad bit pissy sorry. Honest opinions should not revolve around saying other people and reviewers are stupid or a "zombie" for not feeling the same way they do about the game. So that guy can shove his 7.5 up somewhere not sunny.

@eShopper He's apparently done writing reviews by his own admittance. I always hated the guy's attitude which reflected heavily on his reviews. Kind of like the Kayne West of reviewers. Needs to get over himself.

Gotta love that 7.5 review that says if you enjoy the game you're a zombie that's been taken over by Cappy. Great stuff Not even trying to hide the click bait. It's my personal review pet peeve when the reviewer slams other people for enjoying the game.

@HeroOfTime32 I'm looking at the amazon page photos now and I THINK that's just glare on the buttons. I'm pretty sure they are the same just different colors. Could definitely be wrong but that's my take on it.

@JHDK That is a very solid point. Much more of a slim factor and portable. Even though I'd rather use my pro controller I end up just using the detached joycons without the grip if I'm not at home and playing with the switch on my desk etc.

@JHDK I don't know if I'd call $20 significantly cheaper myself but it does look like a great controller. Though I'd rather just fork over the $20 to get nfc and hd rumble. They would probably sell better at the $40 price range in my opinion.

But I like to add any upcoming games I have some interest in to a separate wish list on Amazon for easy access.

@AlternateButtons I get ya. Well as with almost any game I hold off my judgement until I play it for myself or read a bunch of reviews if I don't even up buying something on release.

To bring more lightheartedness to this comment section, I'm going to be replaying all the old school 2d games like Sonic 1-3 in order before I play Mania so I'm looking forward to that! I always like going back and revisiting older titles if I can beat them quick to see the evolution of the series before I play the new one when possible.

@AlternateButtons I don't know what games are made by the main dev team or outsourced man I just play them lol. No reason to get so uptight about it.

@AlternateButtons On the other side though. Sonic Generations is definitely one I enjoyed and most people seem to agree.

@AlternateButtons In his defense, Sonic games, atleast the 3d ones, have a pretty bad track record. Saying every 3d sonic game has horrible camera issues is a bit much. But it's not mindless though. All you gotta do is look up the reviews, both user and critic, for almost all 3d Sonics and they are pretty lukewarm to bad. I've played about half of them and can confirm they aren't really anything special so I'd have to agree with the majority.

@Biff_ARMStrong But...but that Persona outfit tho haha. I'm still waiting for reviews but it does have more of my interest now. Sad I know.

Ok I gotta admit. I have/had zero interest in this game. But those Jet Set Radio and Persona 5 outfits are simply badass.
