Re: Poll: As the PS4 Arrives, What Do You Think of the 'New Gen' Environment for Wii U?

@net34a
-Wii U not HD? Just lol...
-No messaging system? So what was that about with all the MiiVerse 3DS complaints for it not having messaging like the Wii U's MiiVerse?
-Nintendo's first party games don't use the gamepad? What is Off-TV play? What is Game & Wario, Nintendoland, Wind Waker HD, Pikmin 3, Wii Party U, etc? If you don't like those games, then so be it, but it doesn't change the fact that there are Nintendo first party games that use the gamepad.
-MiiVerse to just say hello and leave? It doesn't seem like you have used it much at all. If MiiVerse isn't your cup of tea, then that's understandable, but there are many others that use MiiVerse not to just say hello and leave.
-Recycling games? You act like only Nintendo does that. Sony certainly does that as well as any other gaming company.
There are definitely some issues with the Wii U, but what system doesn't have issues? Nothing is perfect. But whatever, think what you will, but I hope you refrain from calling everyone that talks positively about the Wii U as a fanboy right off the bat the next time. People have different preferences/opinions and if you want them to respect yours, you should definitely respect theirs.

@GreatPlayer
There would be people (upcoming owners of PS4 and Xbox One) complaining about the game for the PS4 and Xbox One too if it was ported. They may not use the "Its a Mario Galaxy clone," but they could complain about something else. There are always people complaining about something and it wouldn't stop the complaining whether it was ported or not. Those "Nintendo fanboys" as you like to put it could be the vocal minority that is complaining for all we know right now. Don't make it sound as if it's all Nintendo fans who are always complaining; fans of all consoles complain. We wouldn't know how well received it is until it actually releases.

Re: Without iOS Support Nintendo "Doesn’t Reach Today’s Kids" Says Apple Advocate John Gruber

@AceTrainerAndy What facts? Looks more like opinions to me and here is my opinion. Nintendo is a company that makes their own handhelds and home consoles. If they put some of their games on the iOS, then why even bother buying their handheld/console if you already own an iPhone/iPad? That would be another $120-300 to spend. That's just like telling Nintendo to publish games on Sony and Microsoft's consoles to raise more awareness of Mario and their other franchises... Then the people who buy Nintendo consoles/handhelds only to play their games (since their 3rd party support isn't very stellar) would have no reason to do so if another system has it. If Nintendo were to publish games even once on the iOS, people would expect them to publish more games on it. Also, how much would Nintendo charge for these games? Would they charge the amount they charge for games on the 3DS ($40) or would they just charge a few bucks? Then people would feel like Mario, LoZ, and other games are too expensive on the 3DS to purchase when they can get it for a few bucks on the iPhone/iPad. Sure, the games would probably have less content, but would casuals really care if the game has more or less content? Most likely not, they would most likely only look at the price and go for the cheaper option. Well, that's my opinion on the matter anyway. I think it's ridiculous to think that Nintendo should develop for another platform when they have their own. Why help a competitor have an advantage over them? The only thing separating the 3DS and other Nintendo handhelds from the iPhone/iPad to casuals is that it doesn't have Mario, LoZ, Pokemon, DK, etc.

@mirnkaya Full price repurchase? I thought the people who already had Fantasy Life could purchase the expansion/update for cheaper instead of having to repurchase the game at full price? Unless I'm not understanding what you're saying... D:

"The new content will be available in two ways. A newly branded version of the game, with the full title and additional content, will arrive for 4,980 Yen, while those that have already taken the plunge can download the updated features onto their copy for 2,000 Yen; both arrive on 25th July in Japan." Re: Metroid Fan Film Fundraising Campaign Demolished After Claim From Nintendo

@WinterWarm "... what Nintendo was too lazy to do in the last 30 years"? Nintendo is a game company, not a movie/film company... I don't understand how Nintendo are the morons for this. It is Nintendo's IP and this was supposed to be a fan-made film, but they're asking for money to make it yet Nintendo is the one that is stupid for stopping this? What?
