I was never a miiverse fan until recently. There are people worth chatting with. Worth while ideas and interesting folks. It just takes time to find those people. Lots of time...I dont think miiverse for 3ds will grow wiius community...

Just as long as we get MK8 in the spring...Multiplayer madness!

@rjejr I don't think they ever did. But I was checking miiverse periodically..hope your kids enjoy it.They are very challenging. I can't get past a silver ranking on any mission!

"Up and down like a brides nightie" lol I can say first hand my wife never wanted to pick up the wiiu until sm3dw came out. Now she can't put it down. Different strokes for different folks. our family is quiteppleased with wiiu for our next gen console. We all think it's underrated

Finishing up 3d world. The familys aready on the last world. Im in collector mode right behind them. Stamps are awesome! And maybe some more Pikmin MModes...

I read the extended article on polygon. It said hes taken up residence at his workplace. He works from 10 am to sometimes 7-9 pm long after the staffers have gone home. His dedication is unparalleled. Its got to be crazy doing 2 games at the same time.But he doesnt cut corners, thats comforting

I had the cosmo black 3ds but traded it in to buy my wiiu day one.With the expanded library and neat edition. Its time to grab one up again!

I cant believe people are paying 500 for a new console. Yet I paid 350 plus games for a wiiu day one. Nintendo marketed their console as a hub for the living room. The twin consoles truly are. they offer 1080 p graphics and a dvd blue ray player..etc Nintendo would have been better served putting a dvd player in their console. That's not bending to the competition but more leveling the playing field. That may have changed perceptions on the system and truly brought it to the next gen, not that its not. But many consumers see that it cant do everything like dvds and will shy away from that .

whomp whomp....Looks like the Sega game gear...Phone controllers are well and good. But what sets it apart from the competition(other phone controllers)? Besides phone gaming are relatively shallow gaming experiences with a touch here, a swipe there..

Low score but still a sound choice for kids. So I will probably still buy. Even at it's worst it's still a fun albeit shallow time waster

Yeah and Nintendo said they wouldn't repeat the same mistakes they did with 3ds. The slow trickle of software ,but it happened. This is all lip service. Though I'm glad these heavy hitter games are on the horizon

Very well written article. Many of us don't have the patience to sit through these violent and emotionally draining games . Once you get older you appreciate gaming for what it is,and always has been Fun.hopefully 3d world does well. But we are in an age were your taste in games aren't considered refined unless you are bashing someone into a pulp..

Games I've owned and promptly traded in..wario,zombie u,Nintendo land,scribble nauts,sonic racing and BO2

It's been a year full of ups and downs. But as a day one adopter I'm still thrilled with the wiiu and never want to get rid of it..

wiiu needs a commercial showcasing the awesomeness that is wiiu, WW Pikmin,3d world,Wiisports. Kids playing on the gamepad in bed. saying its like a monster sized DS...There a few wiiu commercials but they are all focused on one game. We need to showcase its ever growing library

meant more for small kids.Bought as an xmas gift. My 5 year old going on 6 will love it. There arent many games accessible to him on the 3ds. So this fits the bill..

I don't have disposable income for more than one console. I have a wiiu and the kids have 3ds' I'm giving Nintendo enough money. Plus ps4 and one are hype machines. I had 3 ps3s traded them all in. Nintendo has the most enjoyable gaming experiences and bang for your buck..

Nintendo would need alot more mods to police the content being put out by users...So there stance makes sense.Im not a fan but atleast Miiverse on wii u is still the definative version.Looks like friend codes are here to stay. Sadly nintendo isnt looking to expand peoples friend capabilities. Well this is only the beginning ,so We shall wait and see

Just the Sonic demo for me. I Have to pinch my pennies for 3D world next week. Everything else is secondary.

Meijers has them insale for 180..if you want to avoid the lines crowds and cold..I know I'll get one for Xmas..I'm tired of using my son's xl.and he is too !

Why isnt wii sports being downloaded over spotpass?

It's crazy that Nintendo wiiu still has video chat ..I'm sure people naughty chat.can they check that ? I don't chat because it's awkward talking to people represented to me as cartoons on my system..

Maybe they will put them up on the eshop,like they did with the Luigi parkour video.

@airelephant, everything you said is true. They didn't anticipate the difficulty in developing in he. They still have not figured out how to implement online.But they had no choice to release the wiiu when they did.They needed all the help they can get in the console wars.Like many Nintendo ideas they are innovative as hell, but every peripheral falls into a niche market. They move on from ideas far too soon .they really need more developers working on hard hitting first party titles.they are way behind with no end in sight.

These low install numbers make me sad. If this keeps up consumers will never get second gamepad support. Or all the cool rumored system colors..

I still cant get over how this title is only 2 gigs of memory..

my kids are going to freak out when we play.Its like all the mario games rolled into one! Im especially excited about the giant powerup..I almost wish there wasnt such a focus on competitive local multiplayer though.

When I saw the headline, all I could say was yes! yes ! yes!I loved boogerman.I have fond memories of playing this as a kid.Ive been wanting this on wiiu VC.But this remake would really rock my socks.
