A visit to the Nintendo Life site has formed a part of my daily internet routine for well over 12 years now. It continues to be my go-to source for all things Nintendo.
Here’s to another 20, and I will continue to support you through every milestone of success!
@Bass_X0 - I've been experiencing this exact same problem over the past few months. It appears to be happening with much older games and ones i've not played for over 12 months... Very annoying.
Well, it's now 29th July 2017 and this game is actually out. Over FOUR years after this statement! Guess that Nintendo finally got around to optimising the best possible launch timing of this title within the European market...
Sounds like fun. I'll add to my watch list. I only have £2.93 in eShop credit at present and I'm saving that for Sweet Memories Blackjack (don't judge me!)...
Play this at least a couple times per week since launch. It's the perfect time waster whilst sitting in a coffee shop for an afternoon. However, I do find the constant lure of the superior Puzzle & Dragons Z to be quite uncontrollable!
I downloaded the demo purely out of curiosity. Whilst I am far beyond the target audience I found it to be very polished and can see this being a hit with the younger 3DS owners.
It's now 6 years since this little gem was released. Surely a 3DS remaster should have been considered by Nintendo? I'd love to play this in 3D with improved graphics...
With an acceptable balance between optional in-app-purchases and blatant pay-walls this should be considered a sound move by Nintendo. Throw in the obligatory My Nintendo platinum coins daily/weekly rewards and I'll be on board!
21 seconds into the trailer and we're still rocking a Wii U! Guess we'll have to wait for the next generation of Pokémon games before an NX is spotted in the trainer bedroom!
This is only £19 on Amazon at the moment (as is Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros). I took a chance in the hope that it'll keep the wife and I entertained for a couple of weeks.
I've been waiting for the right model (non-glossy!) to come along before I upgrade my old standard 3DS XL. If this makes it to these shores as a SNES tribute i'll be on it so fast...
I was thinking last night about the Link/Linkle choice potentially rearing its head in Zelda Wii U/NX. As much as I've enjoyed Linkle's appearance in Hyrule Warriors/Legends, and welcome more character/diversity into the universe, I'd find it very difficult to select her for my adventure as Link has been such a prominent figure/avatar within the Legend of Zelda universe since day one for me. For me it would be as odd as selecting Marion in the next major Mario release...
Having said that it'd be great to see the choice there for players.
I'm still confused by this system and have never discovered the answer... Does this finally mean that our purchases (past, present and future) will be tied to the account and not the console: a system available to Xbox and PlayStation for many years...
I've yet to jump to new 3DS (although my wife has) and can confirm that the demo on the original hardware is not recommended. However, as the game is only £28.99 on Amazon UK I'll get it anyway in readiness for an eventual purchase of a new 3DS.
Woah! Serious physics issues there. No weight to the water crafts at all. Limited connection to being in water. Waverace still rules and has never been bettered!
Got this today and have already had a 2 hour solid session on it. It's extremely accessible and definitely worth supporting this indie developer on Wii U.
For all the great and functional changes that have been made over the past 12 months, i'm astonished that Nintendo still haven't addressed the game's current inability for the player to edit load-outs in between matches...
I deleted this some time ago and with the recent Pokemon anniversary attention I decided to re-download. However, the game does not offer save data back-up, yet upon loading the game all of my progress from prior was present and correct... How is this?
I'm staggered that this hasn't been made available via eShop for the Wii U. It would make a perfect addition to join Hogan's Alley, Wild Gunman, Duck Hunt and Sin & Punishment. Not forgetting that it's also a LOZ anniversary year!
I have owned the Wii U version since December 2013 and am still yet to play it. I have extremely fond memories of the GameCube original and feel that there is no better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Legend Of Zelda than to pop this on and relive those great Sunday afternoons working through the game...

Re: Nintendo Direct September 2023: Time, Where To Watch, Our Predictions
The prospect of an FZero GX/AX remaster seem to be drowned amidst a sea of FZero 99 predictions...
I feel that a Metroid Prime 2 and 3 digital/physical release is realistic, with the eventual appearance of 4 on the new hardware.
My hopes for a Kid Icarus Uprising remaster though...

Re: Mario Party Star Rush
And totally unnecessary...
So much fantastic IP and yet Nintendo continue to exploit the ones that most fans are least into.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo UK Hints at More Mario Kart 8 DLC
@Rexx If they include Judd waving his flag at the finish line, I'll be more than happy!
Re: Rumour: Nintendo UK Hints at More Mario Kart 8 DLC
I'd be more than happy to see DLC for existing Wii U software until the NX replaces it at retail.
Re: Video: Play Nintendo Channel Releases Debut 'Bragg Report'
Dreadful, cringeworthy etc...
Re: Review: Brain Age: Concentration Training (3DS)
The lack of a UK release is getting silly now...
It's listed on the official Nintendo site. What can possibly be taking so long?
Re: EDGE Magazine's Look At Yooka-Laylee Explores a Dynamic World, Minecarts and Arcade Game Unlocks
As great as this sounds I can't shake the feeling that this will miss it's Wii U release window...
Re: Fire Emblem Fates
Limited edition has just arrived on my doorstep. See you all in a few months!!!!

Re: Gallery: Take a Closer Look at the Pokémon Sun and Moon Box Art and Starter Pokémon
The Japanese advert has so much more heart than the fairly generic western version.

21 seconds into the trailer and we're still rocking a Wii U! Guess we'll have to wait for the next generation of Pokémon games before an NX is spotted in the trainer bedroom!
Re: Ouendan And Elite Beat Agents Creator Would Love To Continue The Series On Nintendo NX
I'm amazed they've never been released on the 3DS virtual console. They are a perfect fit...
Re: Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam
This is only £19 on Amazon at the moment (as is Zelda: Tri Force Heroes). It would be rude to turn it down at that price!

Re: Pocket Card Jockey
According to the Nintendo eShop website it's 848 blocks.
Re: Pocket Card Jockey Comes to North America on 5th May
Seems I'm the polar opposite here. Really excited for the game, downloaded the demo, thoroughly disappointed...
Re: Feature: A Summary of Nintendo's Key Announcements on NX, E3 and Mobile
@liljmoore I'd like to congratulate you for summarising my feelings.
Re: SteamWorld Heist's DLC, The Outsider, Is Coming on 28th April
@TimeGuy I've bought Steamworld Defense on DSi and Steamworld Dig on 3DS and Wii U. Nobody can accuse me of not supporting these guys!
Re: SteamWorld Heist's DLC, The Outsider, Is Coming on 28th April
Hopefully they'll celebrate the DLC release with a discounted price for the main game. Had my eye on this game for a little while now...
Re: You Can Now Pre-Order The Most Gorgeous New Nintendo 3DS XL Console Ever Made
I've been waiting for the right model (non-glossy!) to come along before I upgrade my old standard 3DS XL. If this makes it to these shores as a SNES tribute i'll be on it so fast...
Re: Reaction: Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins Had Humour, Weirdness, Teases and Lots of Potential
Why is it that in the animé they refer to Peppy Hare as Peppy 'Hair' on the comms link? Have I somehow missed an on-going gag over all these years?
Re: Nintendo Life Weekly: Zelda Wii U Rumours Point to Sex Choice in Playable Character
I was thinking last night about the Link/Linkle choice potentially rearing its head in Zelda Wii U/NX. Re: Video: Image & Form Gives Behind the Scenes Details On Its Nintendo Direct Appearance
Seem like nice guys. Been tempted to get Heist for a couple months now.
Re: Talking Point: My Nintendo's Pros, Cons and Areas for Improvement
It gave me access to Zelda Picross... That's more than enough to get my vote.
Re: More Details Emerge on 80's Overdrive
I'd personally be happy to see Horizon Chase on 3DS
Re: Upcoming Pokkén Tournament Update to Fix Shadow Mewtwo's Infinite Combo
I'd also like to see some more Pokémon added with the next patch Namco. Thank you.
Re: Miitomo Tops iOS Chart in the US and Hits Three Million Global Downloads
@Cloudslinger It's odd that I only appear to have 3 friends even though I know that some of my other Twitter/Facebook users have the game installed...
Re: Talking Point: My Nintendo and Its Account System Start The Process of Unifying Platforms
I'm still confused by this system and have never discovered the answer... Does this finally mean that our purchases (past, present and future) will be tied to the account and not the console: a system available to Xbox and PlayStation for many years...
Re: Pokémon Shuffle Gets a Major Update and New Features
I downloaded this update in a coffee shop this morning. Still play this almost every day. A great update!
Re: Looks Like The Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad Was Supposed To Have LEDs And Force Feedback
If the release version had included rumble and LEDs I would have bought it without a doubt!

Re: Interview: Former Retro Studios Man Rhys Lewis on Going Alone With Star Ghost on Wii U
Hmm, this has now made it onto my radar...
Re: Rumour Buster: No, That Person You StreetPassed Is Not Playing Pokémon Sun
Obviously fake to the eagle-eyed - 'Pokemon Sun' as opposed to the correctly spelt 'Pokémon Sun'...
Re: Pokémon Rumble World
I deleted this some time ago and with the recent Pokemon anniversary attention I decided to re-download. However, the game does not offer save data back-up, yet upon loading the game all of my progress from prior was present and correct... How is this?
Re: Pokémon Sun And Moon Confirmed For 3DS Release This Holiday Season
If this is to be the new standard for use of the term 'Nintendo Direct', we are in for a bumpy 2016...
This could have been simply released as a trailer.
Re: Link's Crossbow Training
I'm staggered that this hasn't been made available via eShop for the Wii U. It would make a perfect addition to join Hogan's Alley, Wild Gunman, Duck Hunt and Sin & Punishment. Not forgetting that it's also a LOZ anniversary year!

Re: Katsuhiro Harada on What Sets Pokkén Tournament Apart from Tekken
Really looking forward to this but if I'm honest I had hoped for a larger roster.

Re: Talking Point: At 30 Years Old The Legend of Zelda is Well Placed to be Nintendo's Most Influential Franchise
I'm amazed that Skyward Sword wasn't chosen over Twilight Princess by Nintendo for an HD remaster...
