Review Pokémon Rumble World (3DS eShop)
Diamonds and Pearls
One of many spin-offs to come out of Nintendo's Pokémon phenomenon, the Rumble series takes toy versions of Game Freak's famous monsters and throws them into simple, action-packed beat-'em-ups. The 3DS has already played host to Pokémon Rumble Blast, but following in the free-to-play footsteps of the recently released Pokémon...

News Pokémon Rumble World Comes to Retail in North America on 29th April
No microtransactions either!
About a year ago, Nintendo published Pokémon Rumble World on the eShop, a notable new experiment built on the free to play model. We really liked it in our review, and the free to play model wasn't too exploitative. Considering that there is functionally a full game here, it came as no surprise that Nintendo chose to...
News Pokémon Rumble World Physical Retail Edition Heading to Europe and Australia
Strips out all microtransactions
Pokémon Rumble World has been one of Nintendo's key free-to-play experiments on 3DS, and was recently reported by the company to be one of its most successful download offerings to date. Perhaps keen to capitalise on that success a remixed version was released as a budget retail title in Japan; that same version is...
Poll Nintendo's Free-to-Play Experiments - Are You Still Playing?
We may as well get used to it
Nintendo's played its pricing pretty straight with the Wii U eShop, outside of supporting occasional diversions in standard models from Indie developers, and also dabbling in free-to-start with Fatal Frame / Project Zero: Maiden of Black Water. On the 3DS eShop, however, the company's been more experimental - a...

Lucky balloons and a new land to explore
3DS free-to-play release Pokémon Rumble World has just gotten a new update - version 1.1 - which should hopefully bring it back into your conciousness. Updating the game gives access to a new area - called Changing Land - where you're far more likely to encounter Pokémon you've not yet caught. Also added...
News Pokémon Rumble World is One of the Top 10 'Trending' Games on YouTube
Free-to-view
We've written in the past that Nintendo's successes on YouTube are only sporadic, perhaps as a result of the company's arguably old-fashioned approach to allowing coverage of its games. Nevertheless, there's a surprise entry in a list of 'trending' games on the video service for April. The definition of 'trending' is games "that saw...
Charizard has a Mega Stone, too
Pokémon Rumble World is Nintendo's most recent free-to-play venture on the 3DS, blending button mashing and brawling with strategy to utilise super effective combinations. As with Pokémon Shuffle it's possible to progress without spending any money, though you can speed up progress or improve your chances by buying...
News Hacked Passcodes Leaked For 3DS eShop Microtransaction-Based Title, Pokémon Rumble World
Unlocks new Pokémon, outfits and additional diamonds
Nintendo's recently released free-to-play titles have been designed to challenge and push players to their limits in the hope they will at some point seek aid via their wallets. Elements such as set timers, movement limits and special tasks spread out over a day, week or month add to the...

I deleted this some time ago and with the recent Pokemon anniversary attention I decided to re-download. However, the game does not offer save data back-up, yet upon loading the game all of my progress from prior was present and correct... How is this?
@Harmunt It's linked with your NNID?
thank nintendo for this game but can you make anther pokemon free game pleas
Not gonna lie, what sold me on getting this game was the inclusion of Miis in it.
Now unfortunately it still has the same trope of going through linear levels and beating up Pokemon and potentially catching them if you get lucky. Some features cost the use of PokeDiamonds which can be a pain if it is not the retail version, Hot-Air Balloons having a cooldown timer in which limits to how much time you can play the game, Not sure how good the story is but it is definitely meant to be appealing for the children (Which I'd say is doing pretty ok with), Some of the challenges are bit too tough if you don't have the right Combat Power or Pokemon, There's no way to increase a Pokemon's CP so you're still ditching your old ones for stronger ones, etc.
And to be perfectly honest? It sadly gets old after a while.
However, if you enjoyed the previous Pokemon Rumble Games, or just looking for a relaxing game to do on the side, you will find fun and enjoyment through the amount of Pokemon to collect, the Customization for your Miis, The friends you can meet and can visit you, and ESPECIALLY the addition to Mega Evolution.
