@Herna Whether they lose it all or not isn't the point. The fact that people come on here and post "WATA Bad so screw this guy." is the problem.

This site constantly pulls comments for "Removed - unconstructive" but doesn't clean up all of the toxicity on this one. Someone lost legitimate property. People not liking the way the value is calculated because of grading is silly. People can do whatever they want with their own games. Customs destroying them is crap.

Performance of the Switch port was unbearable the last time I tried. That's been a couple of years though.

I don't care about skins, and the game is moderately fun. F2P 4Life!

Why go in to a full critique when no one will read it or care. I enjoy the GameForce a lot, and creators like Gao Feng who do things like this above boards, and the right way deserve your business. The Chi for all of its flaws is one of the most comfortable handhelds you can hold, and it is a unique piece of awesome.

Unless this runs a lot better on Switch than it did the last time I tried, I can't imagine this will get me back in to it any time soon. Between that and the awful Railjack content, I just kind of gave up here. I do have a lot of time on my PC account. I may have to peak back in if nothing else.

Why in the heck are people pissed about this? It was announced up front that these would be limited items. You still have time. Get them if you want them.

The review bombing actually does accomplish something useful to a point. A 0/10 is silly, yes. It's however not any more silly than a 10/10. Calling a flawed game essentially "Perfect" invites this kind of thing. If reviewers would actually review the game as the 7 or 8 it is, then people could change their expectations appropriately. Instead, they suck up to Nintendo, and call a good game a "Masterpiece." A User score at 6.5 overall while maybe a touch harsh is probably a fine aggregate.

@Vepra There's nothing specifically wrong with Trevor. He's just the protagonist of 1 game. Then a side character in a couple of others. Simon, or Richter would make a lot more sense. If you used Richter you could easily squeeze 2 more seasons out of Rondo, then Symphony. That would give fans more Alucard. I just feel like they are kind of limiting themselves when there's no reason to.

400 games in the franchise, and they insist on sticking with Trevor. /sigh

I really can't believe that anyone cares. (Comments on this thread seem to be proving me wrong.) Another plug and play Genesis that is definitely (Maybe? Possibly? Not Gonna Be?) better than the last 50 of these that I can find at any local thrift store because these things are cheap, disposable, and utter junk. Holy crap the salt. Sure, the retailers are to blame, but this angst is unreal. Best Buy opened their pre-orders about 9pm pacific, not 3am. They did check numbers and free up a few more at 3 am. My confirmation e-mail proves the purchase time at 9pm pacific. Way more units have been pre-ordered than the NES mini. It's not Nintendo's fault that the scalpers are better equipped to grab these up than everyone else. I set up my notifications wherever I could to get a pre-order. Shocker, I got one.

Wal-Mart is already sold out again, and as far as I can tell Gamestop is having issues with their site. (Congestion over this? Dunno)

Thunder Spirits is great, though a touch easier than even Thunder Force 3 is. (Yes, I know Spirits is an arranged mode of the Sega CD version of 3.) It's also not expensive, so grab it up.

Complete Hardware mod. There was no region lock, it just had a slightly different shape on the cart. The 2 little plastic notches in the cart slot were the only thing that blocked you from using Japanese games. I used a hammer and a flat-head screw driver to pop mine off. In hindsight, a file is likely a smarter play.

Still one of my all time favorites.

Tactics Ogre on the GBA was better than either. Though I enjoy all 3.

I have to agree with those pointing out that this was the weakest of the 3 on the GBA. The game is good. Really good even. It just doesn't have the polish, or depth of the other 2. I would give it a high 7. I wouldn't scoff at an 8. A 9 just seems too generous.

Holy Rose Colored Glasses Batman! I loved this game 15 years ago too, but it has not aged well. From a nostalgia standpoint, I get it, but all the 10s? Not objective reviews.

Just the second time in a couple of weeks I have noticed it. I use this sight to help me determine what I would like to spend my money on. Makes it difficult when the review staff don't even see eye to eye.

I tend to be over critical about everything. That said, when reading the article about series reboots, I believe NL gave everything in debate an 8 or higher. NL Is my first stop for reviews, but you guys tend to be too forgiving, and rate games a touch higher than they deserve.

There were 2 little tabs in the US SNES... Break them both, and viola... you could play the J games.

It's an interesting game at the very least. It was a step towards something new. A 3/10 for its clunkiness seems harsh. 5-6 I would have understood.

Played with one months ago. A Demo unit at a local game shop. Poor construction, and bulky as heck. The shoulder buttons aren't great either.

Sorry, the Metroidvania ones are as a rule much deeper, and much better games.

Ogre Battle

A silly talking point. Nintendo has owned the handheld market since 1989. Slow start or not, the 3DS will be fine.

The 3d platforming alone should make this lose 2 points. Calling one of the more mediocre games in the series a 10 seems a bit much. Fusion was near perfection, and only warranted a 9 from here. This one is a 7 tops.

GBA games are NEVER above 32 Megs. All of the ones listed as of yet are between 4, and 16 Megs. There is not going to be a space issue.

"Nintendo currently has no plans to make these 10 games available to the general public on the Nintendo 3DS in the future. " Means Nothing. They have every right, and most likely will release them in the future for sale. >.> Sheesh.

8/10 Makes sense. 9/10 I would understand. 10/10 Seems a bit much. I will reserve judgement until I can play it myself, but as great as the 64 one is, it suffers from some major gameplay flaws. ALTTP, and Link's Awakening were both better games. (IMHO) None the less. I will be picking it up on Sunday for sure.

Agreed Swerd. X2 is the best one ever, but the first is extremely solid, and an all around great game.

Why doesn't the info list the cost of this?

Have Field runners, and Steam World. I could use a new one. I will see how it reviews.

Are there many differences between this and the psp version?

This game is brilliant. 9/10 is almost not enough. I love it.
