I really don't want them making separate systems again. The quality of such a handheld wouldn't be as good as the Switch's and frankly its not all that great e.g. its chips were old, it lacks decent ram.

It looks really interesting and I like the art style, hope it reviews well.

Sounds to me like the best idea is to buy a used copy and then the DLC.

@Cynas it would be nice if they put enemies on the field and if they made them more difficult and rewarding to defeat. Not much is more annoying in my opinion than boring encounters that give meh rewards.

@EdwardElric I wouldn't be upset about that SoA would make a terrific anime.

@Cynas the crazy thing is the encounter rate was much higher in the original. They also need to rework the magic system its a glaring weakness with the game and do some work on ship battles. None of these are hard to do so totally doable even if they put out a 4K remaster.

Robbie and Purah should be playable characters but if they're good side characters that'd be nice too.

I think it far more likely Nintendo tries to reinvent the wheel than to simply develop a more powerful 4K capable system. I doubt they even try and produce a system that would do the BOTW world justice e.g. substantially better lighting, particle effects, water, and draw distance.

Nintendo is making it worse for themselves by digging their heels in like this. They could win the case but the fallout from them digging their heels in could meaningfully hurt them.

To me this is like when they announced Pac-Man from way back when, its nice for other people I guess.

@Jimez obviously they couldn't care less if they're responsible for people even kids getting sick and even dying all they care about are their profits. I would be very shocked if this doesn't cause problems between them and Gamefreak.

@Sabrewing an expanded A War to End All Wars could work as could Gateway to Destiny, The Last Hope could be expanded and work. It'd take quite a bit more work but they could rework some of the other songs to make em' faster paced and not sound like a mass of people are writhing and suffering in pit and not talking about corpses lumbering rotting cadavers and rats eating eyes.

I'm hoping its Pious Augustus from Eternal Darkness! Nintendo hates Eternal Darkness so it'll never happen even though he'd be great, he could have three different play sets based on his allegiance and his Smash Attack could be him summoning the relevant ancient.

@MsJubilee he always is, its almost as if he's super human, I wonder if there's something in Resident Evil that could make someone super human.

@Hagemaru you should see what they did to Ghost in the Shell its quite jarring especially compared to Stand Alone Complex. I would recommend the Netflix Ghost in the Shell for the story.

@AgentGuapo just think how more powerful hardware could really improve the partial affects, the water quality, the draw distance and the lighting and shadows. I really wish Nintendo would commit to producing decent hardware.

Well so far we dodged a bullet but that’s not the most convincing denial. My guess is that they made a decision to leave the possibility open like this to get attention or because they’re in talks with Sega.

@Alpha008 maybe but from their perspective they really need to stick it to Sony and at least prevent Sony from dominating this generation as well.

I don't understand why so many developers are letting games get published with this problem. It's not a difficult problem to fix and it's a problem that can turn people completely off a game especially if they have a vision issues.

Hopefully it does really well and get get a sequel or something to the game.

This consolidation of power is terrible news, Microsoft and Sony have too much power over the industry and society at large as is. Nothing will happen to them because they've bought off all the politicians.

I really hope they're not planning on releasing more lazy ports at an over inflated price. Considering they've announced nothing for the holiday season I think its more likely than not.

The Japanese box art look great, to bad the game was a design disaster at every single level and a cautionary tale of how innovation has a dark side.

@Clyde_Radcliffe it would have been ridiculous, greedy and lazy for Capcom to have released those games with some minor improvements on the PS3 and Xbox 360 while charging the same price as a new game. For the price they’re asking the consumer should be getting far more.

@Dog If Capcom had released the original three Resident Evil games with just improved resolutions and and maybe a few extra minor improvements people would've roasted them as greedy and lazy. Nintendo needs to do better!

Hopeuflly they use the time and money to design a far superior Switch 2 e.g. decent battery life, sufficient ram, a good OLED screen, an aluminum body, current chips and a dock that functions as an external GPU.

The value is poor compared to the asking price, this collection is a ripoff. Capcom justified the Resident Evil 2 remake's original price because they completely remade it, in contrast Nintendo was lazy and greedy and decided to offer emulations with minor enhancements for full price.

@DonSerrot I agree I just hope they’ll be less stingy on the hardware e.g. the next Switch gets adequate ram and uses current chips.

Instead of seeing this as a good thing Nintendo is going to lose it over this instead.

@Mogster both it and Majora's Mask deserve the Final Fantasy treatment.

In a few months they’ll again feign ignorance why EA games sell poorly on Nintendo systems.

There are a lot of creative and intelligent people at Nintendo its a shame seemingly none of them are allowed to put those virtues to good use for the Switch itself.

It looks quite bland even for a NES styled game.

I want them to get it right so I'm fine with waiting a while longer.
