@Sabrewing well he’s trying to force Peach to share his kingdom with him instead of trying to share it with me. I’d gladly walk no prance myself down the aisle unlike Peach who has to have a mountain worth of restraining orders and half the Mushroom Kingdom’s budget going to defense against him.

I liked the anticipation that proceeded directs and if for no other reason Id like them to be brought back.

@Yosher they released a PS2 slim but the hardware wasn't any more powerful.

Hopefully they take a look at this success and commit to making the Switch the next gameboy or DS and vastly improve upon the design instead of trying to pull another Wii.

We should move to a system where fan produced art and media can legally be sold so long as its labeled fan made and the original creators share in the revenue.

@AndyC_MK84 I would very much appreciate knowing what god set it in stone humanity’s fate to never create a fair society. Fair isn’t the same as perfect or a utopia, I only mention that to nip accusations I think a perfect society or utopia is possible in the bud.

The United States is a nation in which all sectors of the economy are oligopolies, duopolies or full on monopolies. You’re personally attacking me for the audacity of living in such a society its absurd. Its akin to attacks American supporters of slavery lobbed at abolitionists for having the audacity of living in a society built on slavery and wanting it abolished and replaced.

I know enough about economics to know that $1,500,000,000,000 sitting in a bank account is worthless to the economy but that same money flowing through the economy would stimulate it. I know that oligopolies, duopolies and monopolies minimize wages and benefits for the working class while maximizing them in the extreme for the owner class. I know that the wealth of the owner class is used to bribe and intimidate politicians into ignoring the will and needs of their constituents which distory not just democracy but the economy particularly in the form of a widening income and wealth gaps. I know that workers of a business equally owning and democratically structuring and operating their business would be an imperfect but fundamentally better alternative to the authoritarian private ownership we have today.

@AndyC_MK84 the divine rights of monarchs lasted for thousands of years that wasn't a testament to it being a just system. Slavery lasted just shy of nine decades in the United States that length wasn't a testament to it being a just system. If higher education was affordable to all Americans or even most Americans this story would note worthy by you or me or anyone else.

What's unfair is the USA billionaire class this year added over $1,500,000,000,000 to their collective bank accounts during a deadly pandemic and economic recession. They don't need any of that money but the 128.45 million households sure could use an infusion of $11,677 and the economy could too. We don't even need to raise taxes we just need to eliminate profit making in education and stop doing things rich people and big corporations want because it benefits them finically like wasting $826 billion on the military.

@MichaelHarvey its just magic there's no money to thoroughly invest in people's education and by extension the nation well being but there's enough for a tax code written by the rich for primary benefit of the rich, ballots galore e.g. the Wall St. Banks, the airlines, wars of aggression e.g. the Iraq War, subsidies for highly profitable companies like Exxon and BP the examples go on and on.

Even with a degree like that a lot of people have trouble financially because usury is legal. This system ain't an act of some god its a system made by human hands it can be fundamentally changed.

What a sad, depressing story. Education at any level shouldn’t be treated as luxury good one must sacrifice for if they’re not incredibly lucky but a fundamental investment for their good and the common good. He should’ve been able to have sold them to travel the world or something. I hate my country so much its a world wide embarrassment.

He never really benefited from his works certainly not financially he didn't even retain control of his creation he didn't want it called the Cthulhu mythos. Millions particularly living in backward places like my home the United States are suffering through no fault of their own and Nintendo is engaging in artificial scarcity it’s disgraceful. It shows that beneath their public Disney like façade their heart is as ice cold as any other capitalist business’.

I'd really prefer news about something that I could actually use like Bayonetta 3 or BOTW 2.

$1,500 for that…NO! NOPE! NOPE! Not only is it overpriced that thing is hideous from the back and banal from the front. If I had $1,500 I'd rather spend it on a good chair and a new mattress or games lots of games.

@NathanTheAsian they can make more traditional controls an option. There's no excuse for any company especially one as large as prestigious as Nintendo to drag its feet in offering accessibility options for the old and disabled.

@NathanTheAsian they may not have the desire but they could do it and make it work well. This is Nintendo were talking about not some company with hardly any experience or talent. Given how limiting motion controls are there should be an accommodation made for the old and/or disabled.

@BongoBongo123 they could always give the option of more conventional controls. I for one would like it since my accuracy wasn't the best especially with thrusts.

I’m really hoping they at least give us HD remasters of Ocarina of Time in Majora‘s Mask, A Link to the Past, Seasons and Ages. I would like them to at least port the Wii U games but would love them to add cut content and do some improvements.

@SwitchForce you should ask yourself why you're being defensive of a company for a mild critique of their business practices.

Nintendo needs to fire their public relations people, even in matters where are they are technically in the right their handling of it is atrocious.

Nintendo shouldn’t stop making the types of games they are making but they do need to broaden what they are offering. Disney broadening what they offered has been a boon to them.

Oh poor poor Capcom they’ll have to relinquish their crown of being the laziest porters.

This is a scum move and people deserve better than this sadly common behavior. Nintendo doesn’t need Google to collect this data for them they can easily do that, this is about them making money off our data. We need someone like Teddy Roosevelt or FDR to come fix this mess.

What really kills me about the broader topic is its pretty easy to fix while making most people happy. Equalize the sexualization between male and female characters and give people non-sexualized alternatives for the characters. The biggest problem is overcoming the patriarchal and homophobic belief that men shouldn't be sexualized in media and if they are it shouldn't be equal to the sexualization of women.

@Dezzy they ain't representing nada they're doing the bare minimum to maximize their profits. Game developers have been doing for this for years obviously had no noticeable negative impact or has had a positive impact.

@RR529 these companies want more money though and there's a lot of room for improvement with girls and women. They can't be oblivious that things like The Hallmark Channel which for a lack of a better way to put it produce media through a lens of the female gaze are quite profitable.

D-d-did we reach the peak of stability? Is this our reward for getting literally nothing for years?
