I hope the controls are better than the one on the Switch. I loved the original but the Final Remix's control aren't the best especially docked.

@dimi I might not be remembering correctly but I believe Apple feared anti-trust problems if they did. It says a lot they would fear that issues since consolidation of corporate power hasn't been this terrible since prior to Teddy Rosevelt earning the nickname the Trust Buster.

If they can pull it off I think it could be really fun, hope they do.

@dimi NVDIA is buying Arm Holdings from SoftBank Group for $40 billion and so Apple will have to pay royalties to them for their computers, tablets and phones.

I wanna see if they can fix the performance issues, if they can I'll buy it new if not I might wait till I can buy it used.

I hope for Sony players the Haptic feedback is utilized more than HD Rumble has been which is hardly at all. I don't think it will be because its not an industry standard by any means.

Be nice if they brought some of the older Fallout games to the Switch.

I'm not even a big Animal Crossing fan and I love it! In the next game they should give the option to have everything in this style.

What's special about them? They look pretty standard to me

@sandman89 that is a fair point especially given how bad the Wii U sold. The Switch has done so well they don't need to be cautious with the Switch 2's hardware. They could use the Switch's success to leverage a more favorable contract for components.

@sandman89 they could've easily ate the cost of putting in a better more powerful and energy efficient but not cutting edge chips and a decent battery. Developers managed some real marvels like bringing the Witcher 3 to the Switch but we've missed some games because of the Switch's limitations. I fear that the gulf between the Switch 2 and the PS5 and Xbox X series is gonna widen so much that a lot of games don't ever make it to the Switch 2 once that happens and that won't be good for anyone.

@link3710 By the fact Nintendo updated to more energy efficient chips with the v2 Nintendo found the original's battery life lacking.

@Yosher that's true but there's also the issue of whether they think another sword user will bring in money.

@Yosher yeah but could you imagine how angry people would be if yet another sword user got added? Honestly I doubt we ever get Lloyd even though he's perfect for Smash.

Hope we get Tales of Symphonia on the Switch minus the gambling for the Devil’s Arm.

I hope it does well but at this price point and with what’s being offered it wouldn’t surprise me if it does poorly. I’m afraid that Nintendo will look at poor sales and conclude that no one wants a Pikmin game. Honestly what they should’ve done is either offered a HD remaster trilogy at this price point or sold this lone game at a much lower price point.

@Nemesis666 this isn't a normal year Nintendo really has nothing for this holiday season except this.

I look forward to playing Metroid Prime on the Switch 3 Pro! It wouldn't kill Nintendo to put out a HD remaster collection of the original 3.

Nintendo really don't got nothing for this holiday so why on earth didn't they step in and provide some help?

I'm excited about it and but someone needs to talk to whomever made that trailer for Bravely Default because the cringe factor was way to high.

I want to know how many switch units it would take to equal the power of one PS5.

I look forward to people melting down because they feel entitled to subject other people to their hatefulness and to the guaranteed head scratchers that'll make the list.

@chipia it doesn't feel all that satisfying and it isn't just the lack of difficulty I think its also it starts to feel repetitive pretty quick.

@Sabrewing that was because of Silicon Knights developing both not because of Nintendo.

I really wish Nintendo wouldn’t be so cheap e.g. adopt OLED instead. A lot of games don’t look that good in handheld mode, and if they don’t provide at least decent hardware things could go poorly for the Switch 2 or whatever the next is called.

My only issue is that they’re doing another limited release. I could understand if they were gonna offer it for a cheaper price for a while to drive up initial sales but this artificial scarcity nonsense is abusive of patrons and needs to end.

@RevengeFan I'm surprised Nintendo remembered they own the IP, they should sell it to someone who knows how to do Eldritch horror.

I actually don’t like the Japanese cover because it is way too crowded.

@TheFrenchiestFry Nintendo owns the IP so the only reason we don’t have a port or remaster is they don’t want to do either. I wish that Nintendo would sell the IP since they’re never going to use it. There’s references in smash bros. games to obscure games but I don’t think there’s a single reference to Eternal Darkness in any of them.

90% docked I find the graphical downgrade to much and playing on a TV with a pro controller is so much more comfortable

I ain’t got no interest in handheld only.

Purah and Robbie are so eccentric in Breath of the Wild I bet they'd be crazy fun to play as.

The way she used magnesis, I wanna see that in Breath of the Wild 2 or something similar. Maybe it could be an upgrade from a nice long hard dungeon.

I love the Majora's Mask and Zelda ones and I wanna love the Midna one but there's something off about it like its to shinny.

No fetch quests, no filler that sounds good, hopefully the game is fantastic.

@ummyeahnintendo they're not ripping off Breath of the Wild, Nintendo set off a trend and people are following. It should not only help drive up Breath of the Wild 2's sales but should also help invigorate and drive the evolution of the open world genre.

@Fulkaffe seriously if it does it'll be one of the best games of the year. In some ways I think it looks better than Breath of the Wild.

@AlexSora89 at least in the USA there’s enough politicians that are supportive of the plague they’ll probably get immunity from lawsuits.

@Pip_Pipston I got the same vibes, hopefully they do bring Vaati back. Ganondorf/Ganon is nice but at this point I'm getting bored of him.

@Beep_Beep it has the same resolution and frame rate as the Witcher 3 but it ain't as graphically taxing. If Nintendo doesn't at least optimize the game and get it to 1080p Nintendo is just being lazy and overcharging. I doubt anyone would have much of an issue if any if it was for $40 with 30 fps and 720p.

30 FPS at 720 it sounds like another lazy port, that they spent little to no time optimizing. This is pathetic given the Witcher three exists on the Switch.
