Nintendo as a whole haven't lost their mojo, just look at 3DS, but the Wii U side certainly has. Wii U is a boat without a rudder, sail, mast or crew...

3DS it works well, Wii U it's utterly redundant. The separation between the screens is simply too large

Or, we could stick with what works rather than shoehorning in additions...

Perfectly reasonable statement, not sure why they didn't say that at the start... If the gamers aren't there, then third parties won't publish, it's as simple as that. If Nintendo turn it around this year, then that changes. Shame that's how it works, but it is what it is

Got to be honest, I don't care. If a game comes out here, I'll get it. If it doesn't then that's a shame but that's what happens

I still don't love DLC. Mass Effect 2 did it best - post-game story expansions. DiRT3 however just locked half the content out behind a paywall. It's a balancing act

I'd put it down as disappointing by Nintendo's own standards, but one that has improved after the event. 3D World is a huge disappointment to me, as is DKCTC over Metroid, but Mario Kart 8 and Smash look ridiculously good. Think this year was all about tempering expectations, Nintendo Direct now does what E3 did

Hopefully this acts as a gateway to Galaxy's true successor
