Re: Turns Out That Leaked Nintendo Switch Was Stolen And Illegally Resold

@Kalmaro. Perhaps you need a definition of Material Goods. A somewhat derogatory term for goods and services, especially those considered unnecessary luxuries.... Now, would you classify food in that category? Unnecessary luxuries?
@shaneoh A starving man stealing from another starving man? Phew, that's a tough debate. One could also ponder why women and children didn't come up in your equation. Ha! J/k.
A man, woman or child would never have to steal food from me. I'll feed anyone in need. But if you try to take my material goods, well, that's a different story...
@Untempered-Link I think with each reply you make you're digging your hole deeper. You truly have a sense of entitlement. This is not knowledge that furthers the human race in any way. It is merely a gaming console, a machine for entertainment and nothing more. It's not like Nintendo is curing cancer and withholding how they did it.

While I don't agree with the logic of @Untempered-Link, I would also disagree with part of @TbobB's statement. Simply put, theft is okay when you're on the street, starving, and you see a loaf of bread for the takin'. Some countries even exempt you from consequences as food is and always should be a basic human right... But to steal goods such as gaming consoles? Nah. Anyone who argues such a stance needs their own material goods stolen from them time after time.

Re: Here Are Your New My Nintendo Rewards

FuzzyYellowBalls

I just don't understand why Nintendo continues this program. The fact that they use their resources for such mediocrity is astounding.

If the whole rewards scheme would've been scrapped after the demise of Club Nintendo then we would've just heard grumbles initially... But now... Well, with this service it's an endless wave of disappointment. And with that comes more grumbling. Rightfully so, I might add.

And speaking of grumbles, Switch damn well better be region-free. For people like me who travel the world and live elsewhere from their home country, the 3DS is a sham. Whereas the DS was stellar.

Re: Nintendo NX Has A Core Idea Which Doesn't Just "Follow Advancements In Technology", Claims Miyamoto

FuzzyYellowBalls

I'm pessimistically optimistic.

Nintendo will have to sell their next system to me; I won't just blindly preorder it like systems past.
Mario-esque games are my favorite, but the Grade-A 1st party titles are just too few and far in between releases... and without much 3rd party support to fill in the gaps.

And please, no gimmick nonsense... just utilize the tech that you opt to use (I'm looking at you, Wii U controller).

Edit:
And to add further to this comment, with Zelda coming on Wii U, I think that will give a lot of us something to play for a good solid year (if not longer) so it shall be pretty easy to wait this next release out to see if it's actually worth the money.
Clearly the Wii U release, as well as the years that followed, were a disaster in terms of support and sales... but some of my favorite Nintendo games are for that system. Just not a enough of them.
So I shall wait.......
