I recently beat this game and it was awesome to experience the first FE, but damn it was a bit clunky and I'm very happy to have the excellent refinements of the modem sequels. Now I'm really really enjoying Three Houses.
Mindboggling. I feel for ya bro. Even if you don't understand the hobby at least have the courtesy to check with your goddamn family before "feeling productive" and cleaning up. Not to mention she could've prevented an unnecessary landfill surge.
This is awesome. I love watching his indepth, humorous analyses of games with glaring issues, inconsistencies, and glitches. There's something very comforting and kind of nostalgic watching his show as his "basement" (set) look cozy like playing vids with some buds in a basement. I grew up with the classics, so it's really fun to play a game(s) in his honour and image.
My God!!! I want one yesterday!!! Lol. Seriously, I'd pay up for that beauty. Awe inspiring skill - truly amazing. Well done, sir, and sell me one please!
@PlayedNSlayed I've been quite enjoying Heist on Hard as it's very fun and challenging at times. It's really cool that the player's skill is required for lining up shots and knowing where bullets will pass through which sections. Don't get frustrated as you can go back and level up characters as you please to dominate later levels. Have fun!
I'm a huge Mass Effect fan (haven't played Andromeda yet) and I found that some people were way too harsh on the trilogy's ending (s). It was still satisfying in terms of resolving the most excellent "space opera" that is Mass Effect. Each to his own, but people are fickle.
God I hope this comes to the Switch; I'll buy it in a "mass relay" split second.
YES!!! I'm so glad that I've held off on buying the PC version as I love having games on the go, especially to find a quiet place to absorb a deep adventure like this. Can't wait!
What a depressing, negative knob. Thank God that he allows extremely talented people to adapt his great works into other very successful and enjoyable media.
His works are being universally praised by enthusiastic fans across multimedia platforms, so cheer up ya goof and enjoy some champagne.
I absolutely love Advance Wars as I've played through all of them on the hardest difficulty, so when I started playing Wargroove, well, I still haven't stopped since it's release months ago. I estimate that I've spent at least 50 hrs playing it from playing all modes, especially trying to master (i.e. S-rank) the campaign levels.
I feel a bit "dirty" as I looked up a puzzle level solution, and recommend to players to try EVERYTHING related to improving movement range and such like taking out a seemingly minimal enemy - it all counts.
TL;DR: Advance Wars homage with unique heart and soul, and amazing value. Get it now!
Ahh, the most wonderful and highly nostalgic OG Gameboy. I still remember standing around an older kid at school watching him play Super Mario Land and trying it for a bit. It was an extremely impactful moment that would motivate me to get my own and buy my 4 yr old younger brother is own.
Long live the original Tetris (which I'm gonna play tonight on my New 3DS) and a very happy birthday to one of the most influential, enjoyable consoles to grace the gaming world.
I played the Hell out of the PS2 original and valued my complete save file with everything unlocked so much that I bought another memory card to preserve it.
So, fast forward to now and I very gladly paid the $25 in Canada to play it portably and it still retains achievements, which is awesome, and can teach Nintendo to fully implement soon.
Yes, the game is a bit janky, but it's a blast to play and if we don't show our love for the porting to the Switch them say good-bye to further support.
In all due respect true fans don't whine about the price and just play it. I'm very happy with this edition.
Um, with this little GBA "gem" being released it's not very hard to wonder why extremely convenient and enjoyable ROMs to exist. C'mon Nintendo - GET THE DAMN VIRTUAL CONSOLE UP AND YOU'LL TAKE PEOPLE'S MONEY!!!
After my nephew showed me the concept on Indiegogo I ordered one deluxe bundle for myself and a grip for him. Wonderfully ergonomic and logical design. Can't wait to get it!
I'm really happy that the developers are considering fan feedback in the sequel's production. That in itself will warrant a purchase. More elaborate group attacks and optimized weapon/item management would also be very welcome.
I'll end up buying it, but I really hope that it's a little shorter than 83 hrs to complete, and has a bit more of a challenge as I only had to restart a level once during the first one. A skip/fast forward option for the enemy turn would also be welcome. I'm looking forward to seeing what the new special attack animations will be.
It's my very first post despite being a fond reader of the site for quite a while. I've really enjoyed the reviews and reading the comments, so I thought I'd initiate my contributions since I recently finally finished Project X Zone. I did enjoy the overall experience, but I certainly agree with others that the game was way too long (i.e. 82 hrs) for the limited strategic and gameplay elements. Compared to series like Fire Emblem and Advance Wars, PXZ is kinda limited in its depth, and the story is too convaluted for its own good. Plus, there's WAY too much dialogue. I really hope that they address these issues as the game could really be awesome.

Has anyone read the excellent novel "1984"? It looks like Mr. Orwell accurately predicted humanity's ridiculously censored and easily offended future.
