Wow, the monsters in this look even worse than some of the gen 5 Pokemon I've seen.

@Samholy At first I thought you were making a good definition of a harcore game, then I realised that you were basically saying that people are only harcore gamers if they have the same opinion as you. There are many hardcore gamers that think that the Gamecube and Wii are great consoles, with the latter being m favourite console. Sure, the third party support could have been better on them but there were still many great third party games on them.

The games better not be £55! No way am I paying that much for one game.

I agree with the picture caption, great typo/mistranslation but the game itself is easily the worst in the series.

This is fantastic news! I loved the first Ace attorney game but I still need to play the rest.

I may not be that good at rhythm games but this game looks awesome! I hope this gets a western release. Its also the first first-party 3DSware game (not counting 3D classics) that actually looks interesting to me.

@Shock_Tart Nintendo had M-rated games on the Wii shop channel so I don't think its that.

I originally wasn't intending to buy this, but after reading this review, I think I will. Good review Drake.

I still need to get Chronos twins which I think looks better than this but I may consider getting this.

I actually like the look of that Wario stylus but I won't be getting any of the others.

Good review, to me it read more like a 4 or maybe even a 3/10 than a 5/10.

It looks pretty good but I'll wait for reviews and impressions before I decide whether to get it or not.

@Tech101 Its got far more censoring than the original, they changed the appearance of some of the characters, the multi-player isn't as good and they messed with the story.

@Superconsole So can I, if only it was from playing the game itself rather than seeing it on youtube. I would love to play this game, if only a vc release was possible. It would be awesome if it was remead on 3DS (which could happen as Rare made two DS games) as long as it wasn't like the Xbox version.

I'm surprised with all the hate. Its not creative and there are many stupid and ugly looking Pokemon in gen 5 but this isn't one of them. Not that it matters to me as I don't like Pokemon anyway.

I've played the first 3 Layton games and the first Ace attorney game and loved them all, so I look forward to the western release of this, if there is one but I should probably play more of the Ace attorney series first.

@Zezhyrule96 I doubt it will have the black case. In Japan, all 3DS games with an age rating of C or above have a black case. They started doing that for Wii games too about halfway through its life.

YES! I love TWEWY, its the best game on the DS! I hope they do make a new one for 3DS. I'll be on holiday when the reveal comes though. I hope we have internet connection at the hotel I'm staying at.

No more 2D Mario until the next gen? That should give them enough time to think of some more creative ideas.

@moomoo I don't know about the American eshop but on the European eshop, there are tabs at the bottom for DSiware, 3DSware, demos, retail games and virtual console so you don't have to manually search for Dsiware games.

Are they going to update the European release too? If they do, I might get it.

I would like it to come to Europe but I doubt I'd buy it at full-price as only two of the games interest me which are Liberation maiden (the one I'm most interested in) and the merchant game. I like tbd's idea of each of the titles being released as seperate 3DSware titles.

NSMB2 is the only game here that interests me but I don't plan on buying any retail games digitally and I'm not paying full price for a lazy game like that so I'll buy it when I can find it pre-owned for £20 or less.

Its the first shovelware announced for Wii U.

@Jamouse The Animal crossing game on Wii had various items that referenced other Nintendo franchises so I doubt it will just be Zelda items in this game.

Maybe, Ghostlight will as they often publish Atlus games in Europe. I love the character designs for this game too. I also recognised some of the voice actors. I could tell that Sister hel's voice actress was Wendee Lee. Allegro's voice seemed familiar too, maybe that youtube commenter that guessed Yuri Lowenthal is right.

I've never liked the artwork in the DQ series. Not that that's the only thing I don't like about the series.

I'm so looking forward to this game, I'm still wish it was coming out this year but the extra time should make it more likely that it will be the best in the series.

Super smash bros. 4 is expected sometime next year? I can't see that happening. Hasn't Sakurai been saying not to expect it for like 4 years or something?

It looks pretty cool and it looks different enough from the Wii banner so hopefully this will prevent casuals thinking that they can play Wii U games on their Wii.

My local HMV is doing pre-orders for the white Wii U but not the black one. I don't plan on getting one anytime soon though.

"It was probably one of the best titles"? Is he implying that Carnival games was one of the best games on the Wii? I've played it, its crap! Its easily one of the worst games I've played, maybe even the worst and yet it sold so much more than so many better Wii games. Its was sad to see an awful game like that sell more than games that actually deserved those kinds of sales like Zack and Wiki and Wario land: The shake dimension.

Good to know that us Europeans will be finally able to play it with this version.

The blue-haired guy reminds me of Jin Kisaragi (Blazblue) except his hair is blue, rather than blond.

That was a fantastic video, she's very talented. Its also good to see VG music being used outside of videogames themselves.

I love LKS, its my favourite third-party Wii game. I hope the sequel gets released on Wii U.

I agree with the posters saying that it should be left for the parents to judge as long as their being reasonable. I don't think anyone that isn't in their teens should play any 15, 16 or 18 rated games with a few exceptions like Metroid: Other M and The last story. Before this, it varied on whether you would get asked for ID or not. I'm 17 now but when I was 15, I was able to buy No more heroes (which is rated 16) without being asked for ID but I was asked for ID that same year when buying Resident evil 0 (which is rated 15) from the same store. Then again, there is only a gap of 1 year between those games ratings.

I wasn't interested in this game at first, but after reading the review I think I'll add it to my list of DSiware games to get. Excellent review!

This scored slightly higher than I expected. Also, cute? Am I the only one who finds the aesthetics of this game ugly?
@SMEXIZELDAMAN I agree, TotA is a masterpiece! I think there is one game that equals TotA though, which is ToS.

I'm with @RoyalXIII. I'd love to see some ToS and/or TotA characters in the next smash bros.
