I agree with Super Mario galaxy, that and its sequel have excellent soundtracks. SSBB and Xenoblade chronicles have amazing soundtracks too but there are better songs in SSBB than the Brawl version of Angel island. I personally would've chosen the Brawl version of Bramble blast, Nintyfan's choice of Gourmet race is a great choice too. As for XBC, I would have chosen Unfinished battle. The soundtracks that I think deserved to be on this list but weren't are:
Super Paper Mario Wario land: The shake dimension No more heroes No more heroes 2: Desperate struggle - The only lyrical VGM I like more than Philistine (from this game) is Ao-iconoclast from Blazblue: calamity trigger.
@UnawareQuagsire I was fine with Samholy's post as he was pointing out the other advantages of more power but your post and that stupid comic of yours is ridiculous! First of all, you're implying that a game needs to have advanced realistic graphics to have a good, deep and immersive story. So that would mean that the Professor Layton series, the Ace attorney series and all the JRPGs released on consoles before the 7th generation, on the DS or games that aren't as realistic can't have deep stories and characters just because they don't have all these new advancements.
Also, just because a game doesn't have a deep story or a massive world to explore doesn't make it a worse game or a 'shallow' game. As well as finding games like the ones I mentioned in my first point immersive, I've found other games like Super Mario galaxy immersive too but if you can't enjoy games if they don't have all these advancements then that's sad and its your loss for missing out on so many great games.
Its ridiculous that there's no charger but I'm fine with my original 3DS anyway. Why are people calling the original vanilla? Also, since you said the manuals are all that come with it, does that mean there are no AR cards? What was the retail game in the 3DS shown in the pictures?
I hope there are a lot of first and third party characters added but other aspects of the gameplay are important too and it will be interesting to see how things are changed in this next entry.
@Kifa Of course, just with the group of third party games confirmed for the Wii U's first few months, it already has better third party support than the Wii has had in all those years its been out. People really exaggerate how bad the Wii's third party support is, compare it to the N64 or even the Gamecube's third party support and you'll see how much better the Wii's third party support was. The third party line-up for the Wii U doesn't look interesting at all to me apart from Rayman legends and Project P-100.
I probably won't be getting a Wii U for a few years but depending on how different this is to the 3DSware version, i might get this version instead. I still have MFC to beat anyway and I also haven't got MMW.
I like the British voice acting in Xenoblade chronicles and The last story and its probably good in Pandora's tower too but I'm not sure if it would be as good with the Japanese characters in this game.
@BenAV I agree, her voice acting was fine and she was my favourite character too. I also like SyrennexLowell much more than ZaelxCalista in terms of couples from this game. @SBOY That has nothing to do with this as Nintendo had no involvement in those games.
@Marc_Max I didn't have much of a problem with the motion controlled rhythm games and I enjoyed the second one so much that it made me want a motion controlled Punch-out for 3DS but then again I only got to chapter 7 and you've beaten it so maybe there are some really frustrating ones later on.
I wish I was better at rhythm games so that I could experience the rest of this game. I was really enjoying both the story and the rhythm games and they provided a good challenge too but it just got too hard for me at chapter 7 and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get through the rhythm games in that chapter.
How are they getting away with this? It looks identical to Viral survival. If I didn't know better, I would assume that it was a port of that game with few differences in game modes and some new power-ups.
I was going to complain more about the delay but if more time is spent on it then its more likely to be worth the wait. I loved the trailer though and I wouldn't be surprised if this is the second best game on the 3DS. Being the best would be impossible with a masterpiece like Tales of the Abyss in that place.
The only new additions are all the coin related things which aren't exciting at all. Everything else looks too similar to previous entries, especially when all world themes are from the previous two games. I'll probably wait until I can find this for £20 or less.
I still need to get Spectre's call but this does look like an excellent game. Young Layton's hair is awful though and I agree with Karakoto that the fight with the robot mummies seemed like it was jumping the shark.
Good to know that the mega mushroom is returning, that power-up is awesome and I agree with Miss_Birdo that Wario should have been a playable character.
Even if it wasn't that creative, New super Mario bros. Wii had some o the best level design I've seen in a 2D platormer but even so I'm disappointed that we're getting four similarly themed 2D Mario platformers in a row.
It certainly looks more creative than NSMB2 but that's not saying much. I'm sure it will still be a great game but I hope that the next 2D Mario game will be more creative than they have been in recent years. I also hope they stop releasing main series Mario games so frequently. That could be part of the reason that they're losing their creativity.
I was expecting 4-5 years and if it takes longer than that then this is very likely to be released in the last years of the 3DS and Wii U but at least the longer development time, the more likely it is to be as amazing as it can be.
Its good to see that Mutant mudds will finally be here soon but not good to see that most of the comments about the game is about the price. I can understand that some people would like the conversion to be more accurate but the quality and length both seem to justify the price.
I had written this off as just another generic zombie shooter but it seems that I was wrong to do so as it sounds very innovative. It lacks personality though and I'm not sure if its one I'd want get but it sounds better than I first thought. Can you save or do you restart as the first survivor every time you play?
I agree with everything @RevolverLink said. Wario is an awesome character and I also would have preferred a new Warioware title but it still looks like a fun game.
90 characters? I hope that means we'll see more characters from game series that are already being represented in it. Mainly because I want to see some ToS and/or TotA characters.
I'd rather get Nightmare in dreamland and KSSU instead of Kirby's adventure and KSS but since it will probably be about £20, it should be worth it for 4 games.
I think the Wii U pro controller looks better than a 360 controller but it still looks too similar. I prefer the classic controller pro. Although, that might change when I actually get to try out the Wii U pro controller.

I prefer my Aqua blue 3DS to that Cerulean blue one.

Re: No Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 for Wii U
@Kifa I see, you're right then if you're just referring to the launch window.

Re: Game of the Month: June 2012 - Pokémon Conquest
I wonder if Project zero 2 would have been included in this feature if NL had a review up before the feature as it does look like a very good game.
Re: Petit Computer Lets You Make Games on Your DSi and 3DS
This seems interesting, especially as I'm interested in having a job designing games when I'm older. I hope this comes to Europe.

@SBOY That has nothing to do with this as Nintendo had no involvement in those games.
Re: Masahiro Sakurai Steps Up as Keynote Speaker at CEDEC
A good choice for this with all the great work he's done for Nintendo and he really does look very youthful for his age.

Re: Escape the Swarm on DSiWare This Week
@WarioFan63 That makes sense, thanks for pointing that out.

I could tell this wouldn't work out.

I'm predicting £200.
Re: Nintendo Serves Up Mario Tennis History Infographic
In the Mario tennis: Power tour section, they said its the sequel to Mario power tennis on Game boy rather than Gamecube.
Re: Review: Sonic Blast (3DS eShop / Game Gear)
That's higher than I expected, this looks like an awful Sonic game.
Re: New Animal Crossing 3DS Trailer Straight from Japan

Re: Bigger Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed
It may have better battery life but I'd rather have a handheld that I can carry around with me in my pocket so I'm fine with the 3DS I already have.
Re: Ten Games Discounted in European eShop Sale
Are these prices permanent or only for a limited time?
Re: Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U Powers Up with Namco
Namco? I hope we see some characters from ToS and/or TotA in it.

@BenjaminRosa Welcome back, I remember you when you were called Zoipi. I was Mariofanatic128 back then.
Re: There'll Be a New Nintendo Direct Tomorrow
After no Animal crossing at E3, it had better be at this. Professor Layton 5 will probably be shown too.
Re: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Art Brings Back Old Favourites

Re: Review: Donkey Kong Jr. (3DS eShop / NES)
I'd give it a 6/10 but then again, I did get it for free from the ambassador program so my score might be a bit different if I had to pay for it.
Re: First Impressions: Nintendo Land's Multiplayer Games
This does look like a fun game and would make a great pack-in game but if its not a pack-in game, I still might get it.
Re: First Impressions: Game & Wario
I agree with everything @RevolverLink said. Wario is an awesome character and I also would have preferred a new Warioware title but it still looks like a fun game.

Re: Zelda Remakes Still Part of Nintendo's Quest
Before we get more remakes, how about an original Zelda for 3DS?
Re: First Impressions: Rayman Legends
This looks like the best currently announced Wii U game!
Re: First Impressions: Bomb Monkey
That monkey's eyes make it look evil! Anyway, it doesn't look as good as Mutant mudds but it still looks like a pretty good game.
Re: Preview: Wii U Hands-On
I think the Wii U pro controller looks better than a 360 controller but it still looks too similar. I prefer the classic controller pro. Although, that might change when I actually get to try out the Wii U pro controller.
Re: Shantae eShop Release Gets Closer
I hope it gets released in Europe. I've been holding off of buying Risky's revenge as I wanted to play this first.
