Looks like there are 150 puzzles for £4.50. That should hopefully keep us going for a little while. Fingers still crossed for DLC and user created puzzle swapping.
Looks awesome. Shame the Wii U will probably be too expensive for me to consider buying straight away. I don't want to make the same mistake as I did with the 3DS, (great little machine but was overpriced).
The surprise launch of the Holographic 3DS Lite U XL Micro dual dual screen with Portable Reality Integrated Colleague Keys (P.R.I.C.K.) which will replace friend codes and display holographic images of your friends.
£39.99..... I DON'T THINK SO!!! That's far too expensive for a download. I'll be buying a hard copy. Once I've finished it and got bored of it I will trade it in and get maybe £20 back. I won't get that from a download.
It may be able to cater for core gamers as well as the casual market. However, it will not be an immediate change. The core gamers are not all suddenly going to rush out and buy a Wii. Even if developers create the hardcore games for the Wii U that have been lacking on the Wii, it will still probably be at least a couple of years before a lot of core gamers take it seriously.
That sounds OK to me. The "majority" of handheld users want games that can be played in short bursts. You can't really play a game like SM:Galaxy like that. The 3DS Mario games are to be sold across the whole spectrum of 3DS users types, so a big exploration game is not going to be as well accepted in social circles outside of the more serious gamers circles. Hopefully that makes sense.
@gamepopper The time on tickets always means door opening time. Concerts, gigs, cinemas, shows, you name it. They're hardly going only allow a few minutes to get everyone seated. And there are always latecomers so they need to allow plenty of time. You should plan ahead better.
It looks naff. It'll look even more naff when it's not a black 3DS. It won't fit in most current cases. It's not essential for playing games. It's a "no" from me.
Looks OK. I've loved the HM games but I think they need to add something very fresh to make me want to buy anymore. I seem to be saying that about quite a few games lately. Either I'm just not as interested in games anymore, or games companies are getting lazier.
Oh, and the panda looks rubbish, although I'm sure they'll change that.
Streetpass has been a load of rubbish as far as I'm concerned. Don't get me wrong, I love my 3DS and have spent far too many hours playing great games on it. However, since March when I got my 3DS I have not had one streetpass hit. (I live in a large village.) I would love to be able to do another jigsaw puzzle picture bt I can't. I finished the quest game only by hiring adventurers with coins. I fear that any new games will suffer in the same way.
@WiiLovePeace What about the EU version that doesn't have London Life? I have enjoyed the previous games but less and less as the series has gone along. I would have bought this with London Life included, but won't bother now until it's in a bargain bin somewhere. £75 so far for the other three games.... I can't bring myself to pay another £25 for a few puzzles with a story attached.
I can't wait for RE:R, but the new attachment just makes the 3DS too bulky. It would also mean having to get a new case to carry my 3DS around in safely. The soft case I have now probably wouldn't be big enough.
@2 and 3 I would hardly call it spoiling us. The U.S. only has to wait about 10 days extra. Surely people can wait that long without getting their knickers in a twist thinking that someone else is getting a better deal than they are.
!Does the promise of duking it out with another two players put this one nearer the top of your buy list?"
As an occasional player I don't stand a chance against most others. A video of the AR mode is needed. I can't imagine trying to play that with the tower wobbling about as you move around.
It looks pretty naff. As for the size, it's not really much different than the original DS looking from the top but it looks far too bulky looking at the back end where the L and R buttons are.
Rubbish. Starting to get a little disheartened by the amount of poor / average games for download. There doesn't seem to be much you could call great recently. The free games are OK and will keep me going a little bit. But nostalgia isn't what it used to be.
Could be good. Could be just more of the same. I'm not bothered for the AR game. If it's anything like the built in AR games then I get annoyed at the wobbliness of them after a while. Face raiders works but games where you're looking at a something that is supposed to be staying still and is in fact wobbling just irritate me.
"... providing a comfortable seat for hours of racing fun."
I don't think so. It may be comfy for an average eight year old but can you imagine sitting on one of those when you're adult size? Your knees would be in the way and the steering wheel will be a couple of inches from your body. It's just....... tat.
Played this on the iTouch. And Build-a-lot 2. And Hotel Mogul (build-a-lot 3 realy). They pretty cool and do have a certain amount of replay value as you try to improve scores. And it's very satisfying seeing your income get higher and higher.
To all those saying it is a Layton wannabe. So What? Who cares? If it's a good game does it matter? Does that mean that any platform game is trying to cash in on Mario, or any brawler is trying to cash in on Street Fighter? No it doesn't. And if it's going to make money you can hardly blame the games companies for doing it. That's what they're there to do.
@ retro_player_22 Me too. Tekken Advance was brilliant. How they managed to fit that game on the tiny advance I'll never understand. If they do as good a job on this as they did with that then it'll be the best brawler on the DS. I've tried SSF:IV and DoA and neither held my attention for very long. Tekken has always been my personal favourite.
Can't wait for this one. I'm having loads of fun playing Mercs but Revelations looks like it will blow it out of the water. The original RE games were my favourite, when it was more puzzle solving than action so this will be a welcome return.

Will definately get this. I love picross. Hopefully it has DLC and / or creating and swapping between other users. Fingers crossed.

New Super Mario Bros 2, Theatrhythm and Dragon Quest IX will be getting played this weekend.
Mainly DQ IX though.
Re: Nintendo Download: 16th August 2012 (Europe)
I won't be downloading NSMB2. Not at £39.99.
I'll buy a copy from a shop and then get about £20 back when I've fiinished with it and trade it in.

Zen pinball is great. Just got to top of local leader board. Probably won't be there for long.

Nope, it's not April 1st.
That looks just plain stupid.

Re: Evidence Mounts for Circle Pad Pro Name
Who cares what it's called. It's still a big lump on the 3DS that won't fit in most current storage cases.
RE:R is looking pretty fantastic though.

Re: Review: Pyramids (3DSWare)
It's good so far. I'm not that far into it but I can can tell it's going to take a looooooong time to finish.
7 out of 10 seems a fair score to me.
Re: We Have an Exclusive Extra Level for Pyramids
It's a good game with a decent challenge. I won't be finishing it any time soon, which is a good thing.
Re: Classic Courses Captured in Mario Kart 7 Stills
Can't wait. Finally a game that is trying to add something different and not just churn out more of the same. Lets hope the online works well.

Not sure about the lack of multiplayer though.

Re: Tetris 3DS Drops Into Europe on 21st October
How much will it be? If it costs too much then I won't be buying the same game again just with a few extra modes.
Re: How Many Kirbys Can You Fit on a DS Box?
Who cares about the cover art. You are not going to be playing with the box.

No thanks. Looks like an average 4 year old might enjoy it for a short while.
Flipnote Memo please. Yet another Nintendelay.
Re: Professor Layton's London Life Won't Make It to Europe
I won't be getting this game now. Not unless they decide to include it after all. I'm not paying £35 for a load of puzzles with a story again.

Re: Nintendo Download: 18th August 2011 (Europe)
Nothing of any interest there.
Fingers crossed that Flipnote Memo comes out soon. Next week would be good as I've seen Aug 25th mentioned on a few sites.
It won't matter what else comes out then because I'll be too busy with flipnote and my free downloads from the ambassador scheme.
