I get all my news from the web and so does everyone reading this article. this means less expenses for Nintendo and nobody had to lose their jobs. This is not a big deal.

I say bring it on since Mojang is being such a jerk about Minecraft. It even frikkin ported it to the PS Vita of all things but not the 3DS at least.

It looks so amazing. I wish my country's events could have such a large Nintendo presence. It seems South Africa is populated with Dota 2 players and either a choice of Fifa, Need for Speed, or Call of Duty on an Xbox 360.

And with MK8 becoming compatible with Amiibo, it really is turning into a platform. It is great to see. Link Amiibo, coincidence? I think not.

For the low price I am definitely getting. My only worry is that my backlog of unfinished indie games are getting bigger.

Zelda games have always followed a formula. When deciding the best Zelda game the story line comes into play as well. With Mario it is purely about the game play and there has been a real mix of Mario platforms with no set formula.

I think 3D is a good direction for these games. I mean Super Mario Bros 3 is an amazing game and a timeless classic but I would not say it is the best. Games like Mario Galaxy and 3D, even from Mario 64, those games are in a different league they are incredible games.

@Samurai_Goroh I voted Galaxy 2 but in this combined poll the 3D Mario games are winning by far.

That is not entirely true. The Mario Kart 8 direct was also called a Digital event. I remember it was a lot flashier. They were testing the waters with it before E3. Anyone else remember that?

After making the mistake of buying my farm thinking it would be a nice casual sim I vowed to never buy a download game without first reading a Nintendolife review.
I agree with this article it should be categorized.

This is like the fourth my farm this year. Instead of swapping out the locations why don't they spend their time making a decent farm sim.

@Guybrush20X6 What??? Capcom is potentially being bought out because the shareholders did not accept the proposed buyout prevention plan at their AGM. As far as I know they are not in any financial trouble and they did not abandon the 3DS?

@unrandomsam That depends on who you are asking. Knight's was a good game for its time but it has aged badly. Only fans of the first game would enjoy a nostalgic replay.
I my opinion many of the NES games are timeless classics that comes from a time when gaming culture was completely different.

@Alucard83 Hardware power has never been the issue. Generation after Generation the system with the best offering comes out on top. gameboy colour won when the Game Gear was more powerful, playstation 2 won when xbox was more powerful, DS won when the psp was more powerful, wii won when the ps3 was more powerful. 3DS is winning when the vita is more powerful.

It has never been about specs.

@JaxonH I have to say. I disagree. Although I love my wiiu and the first party games, I can't afford a PS4 so I was hoping that the wiiu will at least get all the PS3/xbox 360 games in 2013 and 2014. I bought it back in December 2012 when EA and Ubisoft still pledged their undying loyalty to Nintendo. O well.

@MegaScizor It will never make game of the year in anybody's books. There will not be a game of the year version.

realistically my financial situation I would only be able to buy 2 or three more games this year. Can we have a moment of silence for me please. So here goes.

@Incarnadine Dude Nintendo won E3 on day 1 with that robot chicken introduction and the epic smash battle.

It was a really good digital event. It made the announcements entertaining it was amazing! Splatoon was a big surprise and and Amiibo looks fascinating!

But...

Can't deny that some things were missing. Like the DS virtual console information announced months ago, and that Quality of life platform is still a big mystery.

Thses predictions are very solid and logical. I think it is going to be exciting. Those release date games better come with new gameplay trailers

What about a Dragon Quest x or even Monster Hunter Frontier G western release?

@Aviator What do you mean? If a game is not a must have NOW kind of game then why not wait? Plus I read some reviews and they do say that although it is a great game the hacking is not as dynamic and revolutionary as the trailers made is seem.
