@Nintenjoe64 I hear ya, I also have Friday off but it just worked out like that. I was so happy to find out about the convenient release day of Mario Kart 8.
Link looks bad donkey. This game looks like a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing Dynasty warriors on my friend's PS3. Please watch the profanity — TBD
My very first Nintendo system was a Game Boy Color, unfortunately I was only a year old when the original Game Boy came out so I can't really relate to you guys on that.
@MamaLuigi Nintendo does not need to suck up to EA for anything. Besides I don't think that is how it works anyway. Imagine Nintendo buying a box of chocolates for EA and a hallmark card, or doing EA's laundry.
Nintendo always seems to think very laterally about things. It is great actually. Microsoft just shovels their product into a new market and see what happens.
I bought my wiiu in June last year so the end of the first quarter and I did not realise back then what the wiiu would go through, but it if people could just look past all the bad sales figures they would see that it is a much better system than it was a year ago when nobody wanted it.
The miiverse is unrecognisable and all the changes are for the better. The eshop now has a really decent line-up unlike a year ago when it was a desert. The price drop and dozens of amazing games already out and more just around the corner.
When I got it I thought I made a big mistake but I don't regret it any more. Anyway yay for the 3DS.
I already put cash on my eshop wallet a week ago just for this game. Day one purchase for me. Let's be honest there has not been a single major release on the wiiu since Tropical Freeze, so personally this game is a big deal for me. Everyone that owns a wiiu should at least be considering this game.
You know Activision does not bring many games to the table but so far they have brought all of their major franchises to the wiiu. Honestly that is more than I can say about Ubisoft. They can't get any points by bringing out a game after every other console and exclude major features and DLC.
@antdickens wait so you are saying that this is really actually, honestly in the works but the April fools part are the details about the device? Because there are some strange things like using it while commuting???
Or am I misunderstanding you completely? It was pretty funny when I read it though.
I was playing this game for the last two weeks straight. It is a great game but I had not idea I was playing on its birthday and I did not even wish it happy birthday. Sorry MH3U.
@ThomasBW84 I think it might be the accents playing a part here. In America "paddy" brings to mind a hamburger, and "patty" in Europe brings to mind something like, "Looks it's aunt Patty from down the road." But what do I know, I'm from South Africa. Here it seems to be St Patrick. No room for confusion.
@dkxcalibur Well they do wear green clothes, but Yoshi is actually green! I do agree that his game came out and they might be trying to make it relevant.
The "Nothing for me this week" bar is always higher than any of the other choices. One week it was 100 percent of the votes. There is a games drought again. The next wii u game I am going to buy is Child of Light...at the of April! Come on Nintendo don't do this to us.
Nintendo's dedication to quality, and player satisfaction is such a rare gem these days. The day I have to download a day one patch for a Nintendo game is the day when I wallow silently in my nostalgia of the Golden age of gaming long past.
Did you see where they got their funding? And most of the games are on mobile. These are probably one man operations producing flappy bird clones, or free to play PC MMOs and they don't have the expertise to develop for duel screens. Or even all the great developers that have to pathetically bow down to EA as he forces them to stay away from anything Nintendo.
Sorry for the harsh words, but I am just a little bitter about that free to wait leech that is Dungeon Keeper Mobile trash that EA and mobile developers had the audacity to publish and call a game.
I can't believe I bought this stupid game without waiting for the review first. I always do my research before buying a game...I don't know what I was thinking. I don't even really like simulations

Re: Nintendo Japan Announces Plans for YouTube Affiliate Program
Like it or not Youtube is a powerful marketing tool.
Getting games in the hands of youtubers like Pewdiepie which has something like 25 million subscribers and counting is important marketing strategy.
Even if the system is flawed that is the way it is going.
So I think this is a good move by the Big N. It is a step in the right direction.
Re: Poll: A Tale of Two Blockbusters as Mario Kart 8 and Watch Dogs Arrive This Week
Well from the poll it seems that Mario Kart has nothing to fear from Watch Dogs.

Re: Nintendo Creating a New Console for Emerging Markets, Including China
@Dark-Link73 I get your point about the wording used. Middle class is a very vague term. but in context I believe it is a very fair word to use.
I come from South Africa and in Dollars I earn about $12 000 a year.
I own a wiiu and I am responsibly well off. But middle class is the word we use.
