@Lucina xcx and TMS are amazing. Can't speak for FF but SFZ is far from good. And yes I own it and bought it retail. Nearly beat it but it's just not fun at all.

it's actually depressing how weak the Wii U's line up of RPGs has been. At least the 3DS makes up for it.

By the way I'm not shocked this has alright reviews. Dark Moon is one of my favorite 3DS games ([robably my favorite non RPG on the 3DS) and it solidified that Next level is great at what they do.
I have no stake in it so I honestly think it's the fact that it's a game that's not very Metroid like released the year of Metroid's anniversary with no acknowledgement of the anniversary by Nintendo or an acknowledgement of a traditional metroid game (prime or, as I'd prefer, 2D).

My own feelings are that I do not like FPSs outside of Doom and I think it's hideous looking. I'm sure it's fun but I've got a lot of other things that I'd rather buy.

For what it's worth, anyone over the age of 18 saying "Hater" without a hint of irony needs some serious introspection.

@JaxonH I'd agree with you on that were it not for Splatoon being so popular. And shovel knight. outside of ninty you've got Overwatch blowing up this year so I'm not entirely sure that's true.

Style Savvy looks okay. Havent tried one of those. I'd prefer to see if they release it as part of a 2DS bundle like they're doing in europe as I'd like it to match my Pink 3DS.

I actually just purchased the Gameboy game, still in Japanese, for my Gameboy collection last weekend. Gotta love systems without region locking.

I said it elsewhere, but after giving sticker star a shot I think it was meant for really little kids. I've never had such a nice looking game play out so low-stakes/boring.
I dont hate it the way many do. It just doesn't excite or make me feel like I've much of a reason to keep going. Just slow. Dull.

Sticker star obviously was and this is on that level. Not saying it's wrong to enjoy a game for kids, but that's clearly what it is. That's who Nintendo is marketing this game for. Just look at the clip with the piggy bank.

On the flip side of things I'm glad the real controversy here remains the spelling of Color.

20 bucks would be worth it had I heard Freedom Planet/Shovel Knight levels of praise but I've only heard mixed things.

Also if I had to wait six years for a new Kirby or Shin Megami game and it ended up a boring co-op FPS I'd feel completely pissed. So I get where the frustration comes from. Again if one supports a company by buying their hardware they're aloud to feel entitled.

for the record I have no interest in this but dont doubt it'll be competent. Luigi's Mansion on the 3DS is one of my all time favorites so I dont doubt their ability to deliver.

I just think it's obvious that this game seems so far removed from metroid that it's got people bummed out.

Personally, I dont like first person games in general so none of the prime series did much for me.

I'll gladly take another 2D one but I know that that's never gonna happen.

when someone supports a corporation financially by purchasing their expensive consoles then they are perfectly entitled to want something specific and be disappointed if what they want isn't delivered.

I also don't have a new 3ds so I can't count the SNES vc or hurdle warriors since it apparently plays poorly on the regular 3ds

I meant crummy for the whole of Nintendo including the WiiU since we've only gotten one really good game (Tokyo mirage sessions) on that. I guess pokken may be good. Haven't played that. Don't count twilight princess because I haven't enjoyed it and it's not new and I wanted to like SFZero but haven't enjoyed anything beyond the first level.

Haven't been in love with most of the new Pokémon (I like weirder ones like Garbodor and crew. Also disappointed in the lack of new poison types), but I do love the type variations.

Especially Ice/Steel Sandshrew. That's pretty neat.

@remag Someone else probably already responded to you, but in responding to that post in general, wiiU daily says it'll only Approach the XBONE in power. Not match or surpass it.
