I'm almost convinced that I'm gonna stick to handhelds from now on. That was my bread and butter growing up, and while I like the Wii U a lot, I have minimal confidence that this company will get with the times. I'm starting to see Shigeru as a benign Vince Mcmahon in being a millionaire business leader who once had his finger on the pulse of what was good and popular but has sort of lost his way in his own stubborn business.

I say benign because he doesn't have the track record of scummy carny behavior that vince did.
ON THAT NOTE: How come we haven't had any support for wrestling games since 2K13? That's tragic and upsetting and may be a selling point for me on the NX.

By far my favorite game on the WiiU. Once acclimated, I had zero complaints and I actually really enjoyed the characters.
Totally validated getting a WiiU even more than any other 1st party Nintendo Game.

My biggest fear with the NX is that it's going to be the underpowered system again

E3 had the opposite effect on me for Zelda as I'm now sick of hearin about it

Mario 1st person survival horror rhythm game yea

No mention of TMS in there. Might be the main thing I'm looking forward to.
Also worth mentioning that Atlus released a new trailer for SMT IV: Apocalypse and it looks like it might be better than all of the other 3DS things featured at the Treehouse
I know TMS and SMT IV:A are the two games I'm looking forward to the most. Also, considering how much TMS seemed to tank in Japan, shouldnt you guys be hyping it up a bit more? Or at least a little.

yea that's not super reassuring for the same reasons that others have said.

I also would've liked to have seen them announce something other than Just Dance for the NX. Just doesn't seem to bode well.

@JaxonH that just seems crummy to those who supported them in the WiiU.

And dumb since they'll have no Holiday game.

as nice as Zelda looks it's unimpressive on the whole since it'll likely preform better on the NX anyway.
So in all, they seem content to abandon the WiiU fanbase.

Sad there weren't any surprises. I could've used a pick-me-up. Been a rough month.

C'mon nintendo. Do something neat (I realize you did for zelda fans already but those outside the fold)

I already own most of what I want that's discounted

@NIN10DOXD I'm not all that hyped about it (said it before, I'm a 2D Zelda guy if a Zelda guy at all and I've been soured based on how nintendo's handled and delayed this), but the NPC thing may be because they said they're trying to avoid spoiling the story.

I can respect that.

I'd be more excited were this a Wii U exclusive.
the NX release makes me split and I feel like, with the gorgeous graphics, WiiU users will get the lesser of the two.
I have no real attachment to 3D Zelda games so I wish I was as excited as many of you are.

I picked a really bad year to get my first non-portable console

@televisions not a fan of severed's art style and I already have Runbow. Never really clicked for me, sadly.

I also have the Old 3DS. I suppose I should upgrade (really wasn't much of an incentive til I experienced some frames dropping on the new Kirby game), but I never really felt like I should've had to. My old 3DS has otherwise held up real well and I'm divided as to whether i should dump cash on that or save for the NX (which I've got mixed feelings about as I've got the sinking feeling that it'll be the underpowered console again now that the Scorpion and Neo are likely to come out).

Wish they had something to offer those of us who aren't diehard Zelda fans.

Tried TP but it never clicked. Perhaps it's how salty I'm feeling over nintendo's treatment of its fans and the WiiU. (I also wasn't impressed with how it looked/couldnt see why it wasn't just made into a 3DS game since they can clearly port nicer looking games to the new 3DS like Xenoblade).

Ho hum.

More than anything I feel bad for the guys who got held up by ubi.

Other than Axiom nothing exciting.

Who cares?

Maybe I'm just not as attached to the series, but link was always a pretty boy anyway. And the character never spoke.
