And here I thought It'd be a disappointment if the Majora Remake turned out to be just a rumor and then we get this retro-tastic title instead! Looking forward to seeing how the world has changed since last time we visited it.
This kind of cross play is always a welcome addition.
Good to see capcom learned something from their involvement With MGS PW (which coincidentally was also MH related).

I see Wii's VC have Finally gotten to the meat of the franchise! What can be said that haven't been said, it's both the game where KOF completely nailed its style and also its peak.
Replaying Birth By Sleep because I had this urge all throughout Dream Drop Distance to play it again. Not Saying DDD is bad or anything, it's just that BBS is soo much better. Or maybe it's just that BBS revamped the gameplay that would become standard for the series from that point on and DDD just followed the formula and thus ended up less memorable.
After having played the game all the way through, my thoughts are summarized as this. pros: Multiplayer. I like the panel system, enjoy that Keyblades now specialize in different attributes of combat instead of simply being stat boosters and the original bosses are a blast. Cons: no mission variety, repetitive enemy recolors all over the place that can take way too much punishment and a story that doesn't pick up until near the end makes for a game that ultimately becomes a chore to play.
If it wasn't for seeing the screenshots being added to the site I would never have known Wario Land 3 was added. I've always wanted to try that one as a kid and now I finally get my chance!
One of the more overlooked games on the hardware,
lost in the sea of bigger fighting titles,
but one that's very much worth looking into.
Still, you have to wonder: what is it the Ninja master has?
The Wii's Virtual Console and Gamecube support was the main reasons I bought the console to begin with, so I'd never buy this even if I didn't have a Wii.
The game has been criminally overlooked and my heart ached every time people said there hasn't been a true survival horror-esque RE in years.
So I'd be really happy to see it gain some mainstream attention on a console.
This, Super Star and 64 are competing for the title of my favorite Kirby game. Super star is up there because I enjoyed that abilities now had movesets, This I enjoyed for how each helper have different abilities 64 did something similar with the feature of outright mixing together abilities. I'm leaning towards this game though.
I personally really enjoyed this title. Like Super Star's expanded ability movesets, the ability mixing makes for a unique experience and I liked experimenting with different combinations.
This one is up there with Wario Land 2 and Link's Awakening as some of my favorite GB games. the way you gradually traverse the planet makes the lack of a map less of an issue than the original without having the areas be too small a la Fusion. The control is undeniably more solid and the powerups are ballin'. Graphics are pretty dang good as well for what it is. The hunting for Metroids are quite addictive as well in the 'just gonna find one more' way. The few issues I do have are the lack of music, bosses and that one too many missile expansion is outright given to you. I assume this is deliberate since you live and die by missiles in this game, but still.
And Revelations goes unnoticed by the masses as usual. It was the most survival-horror the series has ever been since the classics, and I feel my heart ache every time I see someone complain that every game starting with 4 have emphasized more and more on action and they hope a game with the creeps and atmosphere of old will come around one day.
"It doesn't really add that much, but it's one of the more liked instalments." It did however tighten everything up and has been the base for every KOF afterwards up to 2003.

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (Europe)
Hey! I used to play Tails' Adventure on the Gems Collection when I was a kid.
How 'bout that? Guess I'll be giving it a go again.
Re: Review: The King of Fighters '99 ( / Neo Geo)
'99 has by far the best soundtrack of all of 'em.
Tears is my favorite fighting game track.
Re: Klonoa: Empire of Dreams
Bought this with a new GBA recently, such a charming little platformer,
definitely a good thing to have on hand when you're feeling down.

Re: Amazing Fan-Made Video Explores Link's Obsession With Smashing Pots
If memory serves correctly, didn't the guard ask for you to stir up trouble by breaking the pots? Hilarious video nonetheless, poor guard.
Re: The Amazing Spider-Man: Ultimate Edition Revealed By Amazon
The original game was fun if a bit too simple for comfort
so I look forward to see how this version'll turn out.

I'd be all for seeing what they could cook up.
Having a brand new title on the Wii U and/or 3DS would be great.

Re: Capcom Shares Revelations on Wii U's Resident Evil Potential
Loved Revelations, it's by far the best modern RE game since 4 in my opinion so I'd be all for something in the same style for the WiiU.
Re: Review: Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge (Game Boy)
I highly enjoyed this though It's really just something to get my Mega Man fix until NES's 2 or the GB's IV/V gets a release.
Re: Samurai Shodown IV Europe-Bound Next Week
Love it, my favorite Samsho title,
already got it on my Neo Geo CDZ,
but I have no issue with buying it again.
Re: European Virtual Console Set for Bumper March Crop

Re: Current Wii Model to be Discontinued
Phew... good thing I already got a Wii.
I play my GC titles more regulary than my Wii ones.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - August 2011
AOF3 is a really interesting title since it tried to mix 3D juggle gameplay with a 2D fighter.
Re: Capcom Blames the Fans for Mega Man Legends 3 Cancellation
That's... no, just not Capcom.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console List - July 2011
