Love seeing obnoxious fanboys get skewered on their own imaginary expectations. At no point was this game ever called "open world", just a bunch of gremlins on the internet cooking up an imaginary game in their mind when reality could never possibly meet their expectations lol. This game is going to make bank.
You could certainly be picking and choosing more logical material for these articles. Here's were you can blame your editor or something. We all know this is for the clicks, no need for you to come to the comment section and be condescending to your readers. We aren't dumb.
Ya'll just keep on proving Blood Ninja's point (that they've explained thoroughly), you love to see someone have their point validated again and again.

@johnvboy I think some people's real lives might be missing content right now. Too little, too late, but not late enough to stop their furious whining on the internet about change apparently.
Exactly. If people want New Leaf: The Rehash, go play New Leaf. For how positive and family friendly these games are, you sure find a lot of miserable toads upset because Nintendo's business strategy doesn't cater to their specific whims.
I've played every Animal Crossing game since the franchise's inception. New Horizons easily blows them all out of the water. You may not like the content, but that doesn't mean the game isn't chock full of value.
So bizarre to me that people expect this game to constantly update with new features in perpetuity. The game has so much content, there isn't anything "too little, too late" about them adding Brewster to a game that people have literally already spent hundreds of hours on for over a year.
This isn't an MMORPG, there's never been a roadmap for constant expansions, games run their course and then you move on with your life. It makes zero business sense for Nintendo to consistently release free giant content updates for this game.
I love how passive aggressive the comments that are all "I don't want this, but I'm happy for the people who do" lmao. Ya'll ain't happy for jack *****.
Rune Factory is the ultimate farm sim game. Followed by Stardew Valley. Story of Seasons (formerly known as Harvest Moon) used to be the tits, but the most recent game was a dissapointment.
The snappy movement, bizarre characters, intricate crafting system, complex farming, dungeon crawling, and monster collecting in Rune Factory outpaces pretty much everything else in this genre.
There's no need for a Mario Kart 9 right now, and one certainly won't be released for the switch. MK8 is a fantastic game with a ton of content and there's no reason to think MORE DLC will be coming.
Modern games teach you how to play them and their controls are outlined within the game. Manuals are a nice in a nostalgic sense, but they aren't necessary, even less so considering everyone has a phone in their pocket. Manuals are a waste and it's perfectly fine and acceptable that they are no longer manufactured.
At what point do you just let games go? Are we just going to remake/rerelease these things until a carrington event wipes out our electronics? Like, I thinks it fine to have enjoyed a game, remember it fondly, and move on.

Re: Review: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl - A Strong Platform Fighter With Polish Problems
Looks like a game that would be found as a free give away buried inside a box of cereal.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 9th)
Not going to waste my time with Dread, but I am playing Tetris.

Re: Cozy Grove Free Autumn Update Adds Pet Cats, Interior Design, And A Photo Mode
@SpaceboyScreams Not at all. It's a shallow mobile game and there's very little difference between interact-able elements/items and scenery.
Re: Poll: The Nintendo Switch OLED Is Out Today, Are You Getting One?
Hell no, this silly thing is a pointless layover until the Switch 2 for people with money to flush down the toilet.

Re: Video: Why Didn't Square Enix Port The Kingdom Hearts Collection To Switch?
Can't wait to pick these up, I have had nothing but positive cloud based experiences on my Switch. These are going to make bank.
Re: Video: Here's The First 90 Minutes Of Metroid Dread
I hope someone mentions how they already saw the entire game in the trailers, or how they won't be watching this.

Re: Metroid Dread Has Been Leaked Online Ahead Of This Week's Launch
Blood Ninja's point continues to be proven. The lack of self awareness around here is hilarious.

Just keep on proving Blood Ninja's point. Keep on doing it, we all know you can't help yourselves lol

"I don't like this therefore I don't understand how anybody else could??"
Seriously, the comment section of this website really reveals the lack of worldliness a lot of you have.
Re: Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town Has Shipped More Than A Million Copies
Incredibly disappointing game. They really dropped the ball on this one, such a massive step back for the franchise.
Re: Metroid Dread Has Been Leaked Online Ahead Of This Week's Launch
The people with a chip on their shoulder who clearly are out for Blood Ninja's... well, blood, are proving his point with every post lol.
Re: Review: Embr - A Spark Of Co-Op Potential, But Never Catches Fire On Switch
This game is awful. I badgered Nintendo and got a digital refund. Complete dreck.
Re: Sin & Punishment For Nintendo 64 Now Has An Official Western Box Art
They could have isolated the character art, shuffled them into a better composition for a horizontal format, and then adjusted the background.

@johnvboy Its the intersection of that bitterness and people skewering themselves on their own imaginary expectations.

Re: Nintendo Teases Mario Kart Tour's Brand-New City Course
I don't play mobile trash. I don't lower myself to that sort of thing and I judge and disrespect those who do. I'm not sorry for it either.

Re: Feature: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Is Secretly One Of The Best Zeldas
I didn't mind the stylus controls at all, but the repetitive dungeon was a deal breaker.
Re: A New Pokémon Sword And Shield Item Distribution Has Begun - One Week Only
Yes! Best Pokemon gen, you love to see it.
Re: Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town Has Sold Over 700k Worldwide
I dropped the game after about 6 hours. It just isn't very good.
Re: Feature: Should You Buy Harvest Moon: One World, Or Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town?
@Anti-Matter
People certainly know about Re: Legend, you're just not going to hear about it here because it isn't on a Nintendo system.
Re: Feature: Should You Buy Harvest Moon: One World, Or Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town?
Both of the new games are abymsal. Story of Seasons a little less so, but that's faint praise considering One World is almost unplayable.
Re: Review: Story of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town - Enjoyable, But Unremarkable
I've put about ten hours into this game and it's... rough. Definitely a step backwards for this franchise.
Re: Video: Check Out 12 Minutes Of Story Of Seasons: Pioneers Of Olive Town Gameplay
It's hard to go back to the SoS games after playing Rune Factory 4.

Re: Review: Haven - It Takes Two To Fully Enjoy This Space-Age Love Story
While the game isn't super engaging, it is nice to see an anime relationship with a semblance of healthy normality.
