I said I wouldn't grab a New 3DS unless the smaller white version appeared in NA and it finally did. My wife grabbed me the Animal Crossing bundle for Christmas. So far I've been very impressed with it.
Glad the controls clicked, but generally if they only click in certain people and instances, it's not an overly good thing for a first party release. I guess I'll have to wait and see if they click with ME!
@rayword45 I just appreciated the game much more when I played through it again years later. I understood better how unique an RPG experience it truly was.
Don't worry, I'll be back at E3 next year. Just took a year off. And don't get me wrong, I love Sengoku 3, but I felt like giving it a 9 might be a bit too high. Still worth a try for beat 'em up fans, no doubt there.
I kinda stumbled upon this one years ago when I was buying games for my arcade cabinet. I bought it with a group of games I wanted and just happened to really like it. Nice change of pace title.
Nolan Bushnell is a big reason we're playing the games that we're playing right now. So to completely discount his opinion or write him off as a 'crazy old fool' might be a bit rash. Is he always right, of course not, I think he's proven that in the past, but this guy commands respect with us old guys because we know what he did for video gaming.
These levels will appear just as they do in the PC release. There will still be the secret levels doors, but these CGA-themed Grannie levels have their own doors also hidden within each level. And some are very tricky to reach. Plus you guys gotta play them, since I designed 10 of the Grannie levels.
I've flip-flopped between Super Mario World and Super Mario Bros. 3 so many times over the years, I've actually lost count. But as of right now, Super Mario World is my top pick!
This was the item that tided me over between my Atari 2600 and my NES. Great little computer. It also introduced me to role-playing games, something I still love to this very day. Happy Birthday Commodore 64!
Gamers are gamers. We always want more. But let's face it, the Nintendo press conference was fairly lacking, at least for the more hardcore Nintendo fans. It just was. Wii Fit, SING, and Nintendo Land is all well and good for roping in casual fans, but the diehard Nintendo fans will always wants the big guns and that's not likely to ever change. These "insatiable" fans are the very ones that have stuck by Nintendo over the past couple of decades so I'd watch what I said about them if I were Reggie. LOL
Yeah once you've played it on Vita, it's tough to go the 3DS version. But for those who don't own a Vita or one of the home consoles, this is a very fine alternative.
I agree Wolf. It will be so great to see Nintendo games in HD. And there were some good Wii U games on show at E3. So I'm happy and excited about the system now.
The graphics are a pretty big step up. Maybe not what we might have expected, but still a pretty big leap up from PS3 and Xbox 360. I'm satisfied with it.
There will be a single-player campaign. They were just showing this particular mode off to highlight the Wii U controller and what could be done with it. And the game should be fully controllable with the Wii U GamePad in single-player mode, but I have to say, that Pro Controller felt quite great with this game.

Mega Man 5 is still my favorite Mega Man game. Love that game!
Re: Rayman Legends Demo Finally Arrives In The Wii U eShop
That "Teensies in Trouble" level is the one that dropped my jaw at E3. I bet I stood there either playing that level or watching it for hours.
Re: Review: BurgerTime (Wii Virtual Console / NES)
Yeah if you have the arcade release, you have the definitive version of the game.
Re: Pikmin 3 and Animal Crossing: New Leaf Drop Into Q2 2013
I knew Pikmin 3 looked awfully early in development at E3. So it slipping into Q2 isn't a big surprise.
Re: Nintendo Direct: Watch The North American Presentation Live
Pikmin 3 just looks sick good. WOW!

The Super Nintendo had an extremely poky processor and it did alright. LOL
Re: Feature: Shigeru Miyamoto - The Father of Modern Video Games
I often wonder what Nintendo would have been like if not for Miyamoto. Scary thought! LOL He's the best.

Getting this one!!!!
Re: The Famicom's Biggest Rival Is 25 Years Old
One of the best video game systems ever made still to this very day. They'll have to pry the PC Engine out of my cold, dead hands someday! LOL

I hear those Mutant Mudds Grannie levels are awesome. Just rumor of course!
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th October 2012 (Europe)
Wow! 20 new Mutant Mudds levels! I've heard they're pretty good too. LOL
Re: Hands On: Spirit Hunters Inc.
Don't dismiss this game prematurely. It's got a lot of meat on the bone. I played a lot of it and still barely scratched the surface.
Re: Events: Nintendo Life Is Coming to Eurogamer Expo 2012
I'm at E3 every year. I'll likely be attending PAX Prime next year too. Maybe GDC. We'll see how lazy I'm being at that time. LOL

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Think of 3DS XL?
If I get a freebie, I'll take it. If not, I'm passing. Love my purple 3DS just fine.

Re: First Impressions: Rayman Legends
My pleasure man.
Re: First Impressions: Rayman Legends
This game will likely play out just as Origins did gameplay-wise. Those other levels feel built especially FOR two players.

Re: First Impressions: Rayman Legends
It blows Rayman Origins on PS3 away visually. End of story. LOL
