I absolutely adored the first game, but I had to restart so many times because I was in too early before the official launch. Eventually finished it, but I swore I wouldn't play Below Zero until it was complete. Now I'm not sure if I want the Switch version or the PC one.
@Absol And what is the actual definition of "whitewashing"? Do you have proof that that was the designers intent? Because there could be a thousand different reasons for the card looking lighter, most of all the fact that it's not literally in your hands yet.
Also, it's just lovely that you quoted someone improperly.
I have to be honest, this was my most hyped game from the direct and I didn't expect it to NOT be released physical. This is such a huge blow for me...
Originally I was expecting a Mario Kart roller coaster. Especially with the crazy tracks of Mario kart 8, I think this would have worked out great. But as it is, this ride still looks pretty awesome and I sometimes forget that Nintendo is a company for all ages and not simply those that would be able to ride a roller coaster. The height requirements are unfortunate in that regard...
I have not watched WandaVision yet, but I would imagine they used Gamecube and Wii controllers because they were different enough to get the point across about the time jump. If you put a PS2 controller next to a PS5 controller, they're really not that different. Especially at a quick glance. The OG Xbox controller may have worked in a side by side with the current Xbox controller, but they're still not as different as the Gamecube and Wii controllers.
I'm wondering if I should pick up Splatoon 2 and enjoy that in the meantime. I passed on it because it felt too soon after the first game and my friends we're as into it as I had hoped. Still seems fun though.
Unfortunately for me, I don't have much to look forward to over the next four to six months. Mario Golf seems cool and I might consider it, but I'm not huge on golf. Monster Hunter, like Pokemon, has never been my jam so I always pass on those games. I've already purchased most of the re releases such as Skyward Sword, Hades, Outer Wilds, etc, so those will be a pass for me. The only game I know I'll pick up is the Legend of Mana remake as that was one I missed back in the day. It's going to be another light year for me as far as big Nintendo releases.
I hate to be 'that guy', but this one gets a 1/10 for STILL having a black front. I know (I think) why they do it, but god it still annoys the hell out of me.
