nintendo accepting some of the worst shovelwares ever. nothing new here

2020 is gonna be a dry year for the nintendo switch. especially when it comes to modern third party games. Many games have been announced recently and almost none of them are releasing on switch for now. I expect the situation to be even worse once the next gen is started and that ps5/xbsx sold enough for publishers to move on.

also, the pandemic is making things complicated for every development studio so it doesn't help

then if it's not releasing day one on switch like it should, they can stick it up their ***. I'm so tired of "oh let's release x game but the switch version is gonna be a year later and full price huehuehue"

Switch has close to 60m units, if it's not enough for your company to do an effort and treat it like a console, don't release anything on it.

doesn't matter because it's too late. not only is burnout 64.99 in canada on switch but it's also way too late to launch the game on switch, the interest is low. Many people are already waiting a price drop and the port isn't even out yet lmao.

Seeing how they treat the switch in general, yeah, people should have 0 expectations.

you can already tell it's not gonna sell well. with how many people outright refuse to buy it because it's $50... Good luck EA, you'll need it. I won't buy it unless it's $25 MAXIMUM. Plus, with my ps4 standing there, i have no reason to spend $50 on it.

Yeah, ea can suck it up. Don't care for them anymore. I haven't even played Jedi fallen order yet on ps4.

@Octane i don't understand what you mean. if you're implying it's ok for people to defend this type of online service, then i strongly disagree. but if you were implying something else then, please explain to me because i don't quite get it.

and some questionable nintendo fans asked me why i never renewed my online membership. that's one reason among a ton of others.

@thiswaynow the game was 10$ less on ps4 and xb1 when it lauched. who cares if it was rewritten, it's certainly not worth the price increase, not for a game that's so old as this.

that's a trash tier list for goty right there ( minus fire emblem and shadows die twice). pokemon SS is nowhere near as deserving of goty as fire emblem is.

@cptspaulding to my knowledge when the ps4 version launched it was 54.99 so they're a 10$ increase just because it's a nintendo platform.

they're asking 64.99 in canada! what a rip-off!with taxes that's literally 75$! for a game that's 20 bucks physical on ps4.

@Alpha-2002 it's 64.99 here in canada. they also lost a customer. because it's 19.99 physical on both ps4 and xbox.

just because it's saber i might want to look into this one. i usually don't play 30fps shooters on switch but this one might be an exception. They did really well with the witcher 3.

@Audiogore0733 if they're trying to keep the massive swarms then they'll need one hell of a downgrade to have acceptable framerate

OOOOF i don't want to downplay the switch or anything.... But i doubt it'll have acceptable framerates. Especially if they intend on keeping the swarms with hundreds of zombies.

It looks interesting. But I'm kindda tired of platformers so....

truth to be told, i wouldn't even consider the remakes if they were on switch. Because i have better platforms to enjoy them. However, they should focus on brand new games made for the switch EG: A new monster hunter specific to the switch.

IN 2017 i had nothing but an og switch.... and quickly regretted it because many games i wanted to play were on everything excluding the switch. Now i have a ps4 slim to accommodate those needs and replaced my og switch with a lite cause i never cared for docked. Many games i want are still not coming to switch (the new tales of for exemple) so i doubt nintendo will cover all my needs in the foreseeable future.

@feder falcom games are known to have MEH graphics regardless of the platform it's on. The last time they had games with good graphics was when they were still focussing on PC development back in early 90's (pc-8801/Pc engine cd).

But to say it's awful and it looks like ps2 era is flat out exaggerated. I played the same demo on ps4 and it didn't look much better either.

I actually didn't mind the demo. I even completed it. I usually am very picky with turn based RPGs. Last turn based RPG i liked was xenogears. Go figure.
