People are overreacting to this. It's pathetic. It was a small blip in what was mainly a successful test event. Something went wrong and they fixed it. Get over it.

Most wave 3 amiibos (other thank Mega Man and Sonic) didn't even make it onto shelves in UK stores. My local game only ever has Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Link and Pikachu. Something really needs to be done about this, you can't even pre-order wave 4. I will not pay £30-£50 for an amiibo but I desperately want to complete the collection. So frustrating.
@SupremeAllah Yeah but MM was all about side quests. I got a good 44 hours worth out of that game, it's by far the deepest Zelda game. Four dungeons was a good amount for that particular game.
Miyamoto's complete disregard of the importance of story in games isn't good. I love how much he wants to innovate and make gameplay perfect… but imagine how good his creations would be with a good story too, why can't a game have both? It would draw in a larger audience.

I'm dead happy with the quality of Amiibos. I have Samus, Fox and Marth and they look fantastic. All we need is a sandbox platformer where you can play as Amiibo.
@MrGawain I couldn't agree more. Reading the comments on forums (this site particularly) makes my blood boil. People are getting so worked up about Smash Bros. Almost every character release so far has been scrutinised and has had some sort of backlash from some fans.
It looks fantastic and we are lucky to have a game like this. Who cares if there is DLC eventually. There are ALREADY more characters than in brawl so its not like Nintendo are screwing us.
Zant is my favourite villain from any Zelda series. I love how menacing he initially seems in TP but as his backstory is revealed- he is shown as someone who's totally messed up. His weird squeals are so harrowing... not to mention how bendy he is!

Anyone notice that they didn't say 'Available 2014' after the X footage?.. Also it doesn't look as though development has progressed that much since E3. Late 2015 I reckon. Difficult not to be disappointed
