Considering that the retail game is going for $20 (according to Gamestop), along with the problems I have juggling my DSiWare games right now, I'll probably get the retail version.
Yep, it's looking like 3D will be this/next gen's waggle. At least devs no longer have to incorporate 3D into their games, but it makes the 3D aspect all the more gimmicky.
May may very well beat February for awesomest DSiWare month. I expect Flipnote Studio's stranglehold on the no.1 spot to end with Photo Dojo for free (that will be epic). It will cost me a part of my soul to pick up Earthworm Jim (and possibly Hero of Sparta), but I think that will be okay. The only DSiWare games I'm not interested in on that list is Metal Torrent. A Kappa's Trail makes me feel skeptical, but I was skeptical about Aura-Aura Climber and Number Battle.
Aren't they also making a prequel for DSiWare called Furry Legends: Beginings? or something? Or did they just scrap doing it for DSiWare and added it as one of the episodes?
Even if there's only a ridiculously small fraction of the levels promised (like say, 500 instead of 250,000,000), provided they are all good this will still be a must-buy.
3 factors will decide whether or not I try to import the series (if it isn't released in NA: 1. Amount of games in it. 2. If it's English friendly. 3. How much I can get it for on eBay or if I import it. Those three things will decide it for me.
Rosebud - Probably the smaller indie ones with games that never cracked the top 20 or had games that came out and faded into obscurity before people got DSi's for Christmas, like Powerhead games & Glow Artisan, WayForward and MFC, Teyon with Robot Rescue and Ball Fighter, etc. The list can go on for awhile.
All the DSiWare releases sound nice (except for the one with the kittens), though it may be interesting to see how the tower defense one stacks up to Fieldrunners and/or Starship Patrol.
Sounds interesting. I hope Genterprise realizes that North America eats up games like this, and will localize them over here as fast as they can make them for Japan.
Hmm, the dudes behind the newest Dr. Mario games and the Endless Ocean series do a shooter. Could this be Aa Mujou Setsuna, which was released about 5 months ago in Japan as a bullet hell shooter? I'll keep an eye out for this one, along with Arika's sanity.
Hmm, a game deved by the people behing Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Dragon Quest Wars and Paper Mario making a game. Something tells me it will be strategy based.

I may get this, if only for the mini-sudoku and kakuro.
Re: Tap-Tap-Tap-Tap-Tap - Get Practising with 16-Shot Shooting Watch for DSiWare
Maybe if it was free. Maybe.
Re: Advanced Circuits Rolls into North America on May 24th
I'll keep my eye on this one, but considering Viking Invasion's (BiP's other DSiWare title) bad localization and meh-ish gameplay I may pass.

Re: Nintendo Download: 16th April 2010 (Europe)
If System Flaw Recruit comes to NA, I'd probably get that.
Re: First Impressions: G.G. Series Tetsubou
Sounds similar to Aura-Aura Climber. I'd still get it if it came out here in NA.
Re: Interviews: Gamelion Studios - Furry Legends
Prosdy - Ok, thanks for vlearing that up. That was really confusing me.
Re: First Impressions: G.G. Series Conveyor Kombō
Is this apart of the collection being released in Japan next month? If so, this seems like a good addition.

Re: Frogger Takes a Trip to DSiWare
I might pick this up, but I'm hoping the game has a D-Pad option, as I've seen screenshots buttons on the touch screen ...

Re: Donkey Kong Champ Reveals the Height of His Obsession
Some people will go to ridiculous lengths for fame. Here is just one example.

Re: Scribblenauts 2 Springs to Life
If they also include a thesaurus feature, consider me sold.

Re: Extreme Hangman Breaks Sales Records
This beat Mario vs. DK in a couple of weeks?????!!!!!????!!!!?? Wow, this just shows how dumb some people are, buying a virtual hangman game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd & 3rd March 2010 (Japan)
All the DSiWare releases sound nice (except for the one with the kittens), though it may be interesting to see how the tower defense one stacks up to Fieldrunners and/or Starship Patrol.
Re: Teyon Announces 101 Minigolf World Release and Other Upcoming Downloads
Looking forward to Robot Rescue 2. I just hope the robots look more like robots and less like lobster.

Sounds interesting. I hope Genterprise realizes that North America eats up games like this, and will localize them over here as fast as they can make them for Japan.
Re: Review: Spaceball: Revolution (DSiWare)
I may need to get this when I get a new points card. It sounds pretty cool.

Re: Hudson Bringing Tetris Party Live to DSiWare
If this is a good Tetris version, consider me sold.
Re: Flipper finally gets a launch date
Well, I'm happy. I just hope that there's nothing good coming out next week to suck away my points.
Re: First Impressions: Space Invaders Extreme Z
Hmm, whenever this comes out here in NA I'll have to pick it up and try it out ... and maybe pick up the full version for really cheap!
Re: Oscar in Movieland Filming Soon
DSiWare does need some more platformers ... I just wish they were good platformers.
Re: Link 'n' Launch
Hmm, a game deved by the people behing Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, Dragon Quest Wars and Paper Mario making a game. Something tells me it will be strategy based.
Re: 3D Space Tank
Hmm, another Q-Games deved game for DSiWare ... I'll probably get this when it comes out.
Re: Review: Faceball 2000 (Game Boy)
If Nintendo ever gives a VC to the DSi, I hope this is part of it. This sounds crazy, but it also sounds awesome.
Re: Time Split: Chronos Twins DX Gets A Date
I hope we get Chronos Twins for DS on DSiWare, like Europe did for Little Red Riding Hood's Zombie BBQ. That'd be nice.
