This is a pathetic way to communicate. It's 2017 for crying out loud. This is what you need to play online with your friends. By the Nintendo switch, pay for their online services, own a smart phone, download their special app and then purchase a headset of some sort.

How can anyone say the Nintendo Switch was ready for launch? I just went to my Nintendo account and they still don't have any rewards for all the points from games that I've bought! Their online services were delayed from what they promised. There is no virtual console. I don't know what's going on at Nintendo but it's nothing good.

Nintendo better do a lot better than this if they want me to give them a dime for any of their online services. I'm losing my patience Nintendo. The Switch is your last chance, I've been with you since my original NES in 1986.

Hey Nintendo! You're boring me with the Switch already.

I hope Nintendo will refund all the money that I have accumulated in the e-shop!

It's already been too long. The switch should not have launched without these apps. Everything needs to be a priority for Nintendo. They are two generations behind!

My point is, we should not have to make that trade off until we get past 1080P. If the system is around for another 4 1/2 years it's going to be really outdated, sooner rather than later. If, it's not already!

Yet another Neo Geo game for my Neo Geo Switch. I mean, this is a Neo Geo system right?

@NEStalgia Its actually a light grey, like they changed the grey color. I called Nintendo again, they said they are sorry and to send all the stuff back. Nintendo is sending me 2 new matching grey joy cons and wrist straps. I hope all goes well this time around!

It just keeps getting better! Apparently Nintendo has different color wrist straps now. And of course Nintendo sent me the wrong color. So I do have a new joy con (with stripped screws), but it has a miss match wrist strap. I have the original color grey from launch. I really wish I could send you pictures of all this. lol

The problem with EA sports is that they keep giving us dumb down version's of the games we like, such as Madden and FIFA.

To you EA, if you're going to do it, do it right!

This will never happen! The only thing going on the Nintendo switch is more Neo Geo games.

I just got my package today with my new joint cons. You'll never believe what happened, the right joy con is new in box with a wrist strap. The left joy con was in a hodgepodge plastic package with no wrist strap and stripped out screws on the back. Because I paid $112 for these controllers I called Nintendo, they told me it was only cosmetic and to go ahead and use it. That doesn't help the fact that I'm still missing a wrist strap for the left joy con. They are going to supposedly send me out a new wrist strap which will probably take two weeks because of Fourth of July holiday. Take it from me Nintendo's customer service is pathetic!

Great, another game for my Neo Geo system! I'm so glad I bought the Nintendo Neo Geo . : (

I don't know what all this talk is about a three day turnaround with Nintendo when it comes to replacing joy cons. I'm going on a week now and have gotten nothing from Nintendo.

Well the charge has gone though on my credit card for the joy cons ($112) and it has been over a week. I still have not received them! You clearly have no idea what you are talking about. So before you chime in and and accuse me of not telling the whole story you need to understand that your experience with Nintendo may be, and is different than mine.

Yes, but I can't take my iMac from room to room, or on vacation. I would like my kids to be able to do those things.

I would like to play arms, but I'm waiting for Nintendo to replace my defective joy cons. If it had some apps on it maybe I could watch some Netflix or YouTube while I was waiting on Nintendo. Ugh ☹️

They sent me a return shipping label, I can assure you I have not purchased a second set of joy cons.

My call was escalated to the supervisor position. I did not buy an extra set of joy-cons, I still have to send the defective ones back. Trust me when I tell you Nintendo's customer service is horrible. I can't tell you how many times I had to call them back. I spent at least an hour on the phone with them troubleshooting as they tried to blame the joy con issue on interference in the home. This is not the same Nintendo from the late 1980s early 90s.

That may make sense to you as a Nintendo fan, but to me as a nonbiased consumer, charging me $112 for a new set of Joy-Cons because mine are defective makes absolutely no sense.

I do now. Nintendo would not sell me a set together. I had to purchase the left and right separately $49.99 each. Why should I have to pay anything? These Joy-Con are defective! Nintendos customer service is terrible!!!

This doesn't help anyone unless everyone has a copy of Arms. In other words, if two people in the same household own a switch and would like to play each other, that family must own two copies of arms. I called Nintendo 1-800-255-3700 and told them that they're advertising is very misleading. I also expressed my displeasure that there's no web browser, Virtual Consol, YouTube or Netflix apps. I also had to argue with them for an extended amount of time about my Joy Cons disconnecting. I have owned my Switch since lunch. They charged me $112 for a new set of Joy Cons.

I find it strange that Nintendo has found a way to put Neo Geo games on the Switch but not Nintendo 64 games. Nintendo has truly lost their way.

How is Europe enjoying the Neo Geo Switch? Lol.

Like I said, sometimes I think I bought a Neo Geo system. I'm about ready to sell my Nintendo Switch.

It sure would be nice if they would get the virtual consol up and running. More than half the games in the E shop are from Neo Geo. I'm starting to think I bought a Neo Geo system. Oh, and they better not charge me again for all the virtual console games I bought on my Wii-U!

Arms is great. If you play it much I probably knocked you out! K.O. Gotta Bounce!

I have enjoyed Nintendo since the original NES. I've about had it with Nintendo too. They are not the same company that they once used to be. They've lost their competitive edge. They're too scared to go toe to toe with Sony and Microsoft. I don't believe they think they can win anymore. Shame.

I'm glad you think the joy cons are perfect. But, I bet you're near alone in your thinking.

This is another thing that I do not like about Nintendo. They have way too many different controllers, you can never get used to one, they never feel comfortable, and they seem to progressively get worse over time.

I use my switch in docked mode 100% of the time. Don't put all your eggs in the portable basket EA.

It's so powerful Nintendo is still dabbling with
720P resolutions. Lol. 1080P has been the standard for a while now. Meanwhile, Microsoft and Sony are moving on the 4K, leaving Nintendo in their dust.

Absolutely I'm ready to buy and play some of those old games again. They are what made Nintendo. Isn't it funny that every device does have those apps except for the switch, that alone should tell you something! Shall we get into the true cost of owning a Switch? How much does it cost to upgrade your switch to 500 GB of memory the standard for other consuls? How much does it cost to have a screen protector applied so that the Switch doesn't scratch itself? How much does it cost to buy some sort of device to be able to speak to someone online (headset)? Standard with other consuls. How much does an extra controller cost? Oh, is that more then the other two systems? I'm still waiting on Nintendo to figure out a way for us to be able to save our games, save data. Now, should we talk about third-party support for AAA titles? Oh but you say the switch is so powerful! Apparently not. EA sports didn't think so. They had to dumb down FIFA. LOL.

I have a Switch, and I have plenty of negative things to say about it. There is no virtual Consol, no YouTube, no Netflix, most of the games in the E shop are from the Neo Geo, not Nintendo! And for crying out loud where is my web browser? The Nintendo Switch is definitely a step backwards from the Wii-U. Nintendo was definitely not ready to launch!

I think they need to pass the Switch off as a handheld consul in a few years. At that time they should release a powerful home consol that competes with the latest from Sony and Microsoft. In doing so they will have replaced the 3DS and will be able to compete with the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox whatever.

You're right Nintendo life, this is exactly what I did not want to hear. This is exactly what all the Nintendo fans are tired of. We want AAA titles on a Nintendo Consol that can do everything! It's time to trade in my Nintendo switch.

I'm surprised they're not having a Neo Geo tournament. That seems like the only thing that's coming out on the Switch. Sometimes I think I purchased a Neo Geo. Ugh!

Does 720p really cut it anymore? As TV screens get larger and larger, higher resolution becomes more important. 1080p should be standard by now.
