I never played the game, and I have no intention on changing that. I'm no metroid fan, so the games announcement didn't make me dislike the idea of it. What did was the fact that it was a handheld multiplayer game. With that said i'm not going to say it does, or doesn't deserve the hate. Well I guess the game itself is harmless, but I think Nintendo deserves the hate for it. Any action a person does has it's consequences, and that goes for a business to. It has been over 7 years since the last "proper" metroid title, and it is a spin-off. Nintendo was either completely oblivious to what the majority of fans wanted, or it decided to make the game knowing fan reaction would be toxic. Consumers are told to vote with thier wallets and they did.
You know I never thought that Ubisoft would become one of my favorite developers. Is it because they are actively supporting whats quickly becoming my favorite console/handheld? Without question. Still its something I never would have imagined a year ago. Even typing this felt weird. (And I am mostly talking about their not so heavy hitter ips like rayman or even Starlink, which I like more then games like AC anyway.)
Depending if the frame rates are locked I could go either way. The fact that this is an OPTION in the first place is amazing. If there is one direction I want video games to go is video games with loads of options. Being able to customize a game with options can personalize an experience, and open the game up to a larger audience.
Ah! Too much musou! Nah, i'm kidding there is never too much Musou. (At least for me) I'll import these if I have to, but of course I would prefer them to be localized.
I have seen no proof that the game is incomplete. Ubisoft is a company made to make a profit, but I don't think this is enough reason to come to that conclusion. Maybe when reviews come, or hackers show that the DLC is on the kart which would be a shame. I still plan on getting this game day one provided reviews don't bomb. I'm happy the game is getting DLC. If I like the game then I can get more content, and if I don't care enough then I don't have to get the DLC.
@Emperor-Palpsy Its because the complainers see this as undeniable proof that the game is unfinished, and that the game was purposely made short in order to sell a season pass for extra cash.
All I need is Keaton...All I need is Keaton...All I need is Keaton...I just want to play as a werewolf in a Warriors style game...Keaton won't be in the game will he?
I hope this game gets a demo. It looks like a game that I have to play in order to get what it feels like. The game play looks smooth, but that doesn't mean much to me if hitting an enemy doesn't feel satisfying.
If you asked me 2 months ago I would have told you I'm buying this day one. If you asked me a month ago I would have told you that I may pick it up within month of release. Now? As someone who owns the game on steam I don't really care anymore to be honest. I look at the game and I see it next to games like Sonic Mania and Slime San. Two games I still haven't gotten yet, and are two new experiences that I feel will give me a lot of enjoyment. If there was a physical edition however, then this comment would be completely different.
To those who haven't had the chance to play it themselves. This game is exploding with content, and I hope you have as much as you can with it!
I have no interest in realistic sports games, and I have no intention of buying a game just so a number can tick up once. Which is a shame because the only games from EA that I'm interested in come from studios who are under the company. The likely hood of those games appearing on Switch if EA's own games don't sell well is comparable to a dumpster fire.
Wake me up when we get any kind of news on a Star Wars game, PVZ Garden Warfare, Titanfall, or a game by Bioware.
@JasmineDragon I loved F/E. It's currently tied for my favorite Switch game with Zelda, but then again I am a weird person who can't get enough games made primarily for Japanese audiences. I don't believe that I can get the same experience from a western developed game, eastern developed games just have this unique charm to them . F/E cemented my belief that most games touched by Marvelous and XSeed are pure gold.
Heck before F/E I was going to give this a pass, but after F/E I've been reminded of my love for eastern developed games, and will keep a close eye on this game.
I've stated on a previous article that I have lost most of my interest for this game. I planned on getting the game day one Pre-E3, but now it is too late for me. I still intend to get Rime, but nowhere near it's initial release now.
Slime-San is the only thing catching my eye this week, but I'll wait for reviews before biting. Also the discount on I Am Setsuna is nice, but if I do get the game I'll just import the Japanese physical.
Is it sad that while looking at the rewards I totally forgot what Miitomo was for a solid 20 seconds?
EDIT: On topic... these rewards are pathetic to say the least. Discounts for decently old games, a video, wallpapers, and a theme for the 3ds. I have no clue how many points I have, but looking at whats in store I really don't care TBH.
I hate the fact that I don't hate this. I mean ever since the rumor the concept sounded baffling, and it still is. It looks enjoyable and i look forward to it. But still... WHY DOES THIS GAME LOOK GOOD!?
@Xaldin Agreed! Henry has to be my second favorite dark mage in the franchise, but I wouldn't be too surprised if he isn't in because of Tharja. It's not like her addition denies his addition, but I think it greatly lowers his chances. At least Tharja's announcement makes Gaius have high chances!
I may just be weird, but this game's reveal was bigger than Mario Odyssey for me. That being said i'm all for this game and being a HUGE Cordelia fan this only helps my excitement. I kinda hope that F-Robin is just a skin, but it's not the end of the world if she isn't.
I have lost a lot of interest in this along with Stardew Valley. I already own Stardew Valley on PC, and was going to buy it along with this in spring and early summer. Now as time has passed and more games have shown up on the horizon I probably won't even bother with either.
I'm not one who goes for accessories, but I'd jump on these as soon as possible. I'd also like to see Moon ball, Quick ball, Timer ball, and even Team Rocket ball sets.
@Vegeta937 IMO Capcom is sitting on a gold mine of unused IP if there on Switch or otherwise. Okami, Power Stone, Ghosts'n Goblins, the aforementioned Viewtiful Joe, and (Maybe) Breath of Fire.
It will be amazing to finally have a mainline Pokemon game on the big screen, but I will keep my expectations in check. Some may be exited that we could get a huge open world, but I think it will just be HD Pokemon. I would love to be proven wrong though.
Fate/EXTELLA , Mario+Rabbids, Sonic Mania, and possibly some Nindies here and there. Overall I am very happy with the consistent monthly releases, and the diversity of these games.

Re: Fire Emblem Warriors Special Edition Is Also Coming to North America
Most anticipated game for me since it's announcement. Hope it does well even though it releases the week before Mario.

Re: Video: Feast Your Eyes On This Gamescom 2017 Fire Emblem Warriors Trailer
Also yeah the VA is way off. Does anyone know why, is it because of the voice actor strike, or because TreeHouse is just weird?

@Pod B-b-but it's disgusting weeb trash. How could it be anything but negative? Think of the children!
Re: Review: Slime-san (Switch eShop)
Ever since the announcement trailer this game looked liked it was bursting with content, and I'm happy to see it didn't go to waste.
I'm going to be honest though. The main reason this review sold me was the fact that you called it "unashamedly weird".
Re: Unepic and Ghost 1.0 Are Heading to the Switch eShop
@GrailUK " Web browser animation" is that what it is? I keep watching the trailer, but something about it looks off.
Re: Curve Digital Confirms Two Games for the Switch eShop
"More good stuff on the way" haven't you heard? There has to be any kind of stuff for MORE to come. /Sarcasm
The first game looks good, but the second isn't for me.
Re: The Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition Demo is Live, For Real This Time
More demos are good. Now I just wish that more companies would provide demos for their games

Re: The Stylish 'Aztez' is Finally Out on PC, and Planned Wii U Version May 'Pivot' to Switch
Looks enjoyable. The combat looks fluid, and the game is all about the Aztecs which is a civilization that has been woefully unused.

(And assuming it gets localized)

Well...I can at least dream.
