I wonder if it'll work on the Retron 5. I have a repro copy, but it ended up not working on it or my original snes.

I still have all my original cartridges, minus the fighters. (Never played those.) But I'm STILL buying this day one, to have the arcade versions and everything on a single cartridge. Like everyone else I had to check to make sure it wasn't April 1st.

I still have it pre-ordered, but unfortunately now it's going to have to wait to get played for me until after Metroid.

I can only hope that it's good! I played the original on pc when it came out, had very fond memories of it, and have since got the SNES, Genesis, and Switch releases. I didn't play the remake, since it just looked awful, and it sounds like I made the right choice.

I'll probably get the second collection as well, but the first is a must buy for me, for the NES version of Dragon Spirit alone. I LOVED that game as a kid.

I'm going to remain skeptical about this. However, I'd buy each and every one they put out! I'm a sucker for collections and remasters anyways, and I adore all the Mario games.

I'm getting the Zero collection physical, but I'll definitely be downloading the Double Dragon/Kunio collection after work. Some of my favorite nes/famicom games.

This is actually exactly what I've wanted. I casually collect Gameboy games (and color/advance) and I have a fairly nice GbaSp with the 101 screen, but this is perfect. I've been eyeballing modded Gamegears for years now too, so this is the best of both worlds. Not to mention it's actually cheaper than most modded Gamegears that I've seen.

Finally! I've been waiting for Doom 64 for forever. I still have my original cart, and i love the game, but there were times when it was ridiculously dark. So dark you actually couldn't see what was happening.

Don't you tease me, Nintendo Life! I'd buy Doom 64 immediately.

I enjoyed Slain quite a bit, and this being the pseudo sequel I'm sure I'll like it too.

Sorry Fire Emblem. Gonna have to blast through Doom 1 first.

Ugh. As much as I want to dig in to Fire Emblem when I'm out of work... If the first three Doom games are out in the u.s. by then, Three Houses is gonna have to wait. Next to Mario and Zelda, Doom is my favorite franchise.

Seems to be a console version of games like Getting Over It on the PC. Intentionally frustrating to make you rage quit, but just fun enough to keep you trying to get a little further.

I enjoyed the game, it was a little clunky in some spots but they nailed the atmosphere. But I already have two copies of it, so I might get it again when it inevitably goes on sale.

Looks great so far. I loved X-men legends one and two, and the first Ultimate Alliance. Never got around to playing the second one, but definitely picking this up.

If it's a service like the WWE network, and includes almost everything the company has ever put out on it, I'll be more than interested.

This news just made my morning! There were rumblings of a Castlevania collection before but nothing came of it. I'll gladly buy all three of these.

I might have to snag the Harry Potter collection at that price.

I'll have to pick up U Deluxe then. I enjoyed it on the Wii U, wouldn't mind having it on my Switch

I can't say I'm a fan of the art style, but I'd have to see it in motion to judge.

Interesting, and something I'd consider picking up. Though between my original Genesis and Mega Retron HD (and the Genesis games on Switch!), I have enough ways to play those games. What I'd love is a new Game Gear, without having to pay $300 for a modded one with a better screen and a rechargeable battery.

Ugh... I just bought Diablo 3 for the 4th time, and now I'm going to get this for the third time.

I adored this game, kept hoping it would show up on Switch. It's one of the rare games that I'll be buying a third time.

I'd prefer the nes version of Rygar, it was a far superior game in my opinion. That said though, I might have to pick up the arcade version out of nostalgia.

@Anti-Matter Just ignore them, they're being rude. Everything I've seen you post on the site has been relevant in one way or another, even if it's just personal opinion. And I'm 34 as well.

But, I'll definitely pick this up. I enjoyed the first set on the PS3 I believe, and never got around to the second. All the Lego games have been enjoyable at the very least.

Yeah, I never understood the hate, other than it just wasn't an exact port of Rondo. It was just really challenging. All the classic titles were, at least in parts. Though I still think 3 was harder overall.
I never understood the hate that 2 got either. If I could figure it out when I was a little kid, it couldn't have been THAT cryptic.

@SolarJetman Honestly, the game isn't all that tough once you learn one thing. You have to master the blocking mechanic for each enemy. Most of them are similar, but they have different speeds and "tell" animations. Other than that, the game has a couple trial and error traps that you might not see. I think I beat it in about 4.5 hours roughly, and another half hour or so to pick up the remaining collectables.

Well I know that the end scene shows a futuristic setting. And I was pretty sure it mentions Valfaris by name. I'd have to check to make sure though, it's been awhile since I played.

@McHaggis I loved Brutal Legend! I was wary of the sudden gameplay shift at first, but ended up liking that too.

@paihia No worries! Upon completing Slain, it actually gives you a teaser for this game. I remember being slightly worried that it wouldn't come to the Switch for whatever reason.

@paihia Well this is a sequel to Slain, so...

But, I'll definitely pick this up, I really enjoyed Slain and have no problem supporting these guys. Doubly so because I require all the metal.

I'm down, I love Dragon Ball. Though I'm not sure how well he'd fit in.

Nice! I've been holding off on buying it for the Wii U just in case it came to the Switch. Just from watching videos of it, I know I'll love it and it's sequel.

Odyssey looks amazing, and Doom... DOOM. I've already played it on my ps4, but I'll gladly double dip for it on the Switch. Two of my favorite franchises finally together since the snes days.

@GamerGuy82 Eh, it's slightly disheartening, but it's alright. It's a new system and there are still a few kinks to work out. If I have to go through Zelda and BoI again, so be it, both are fantastic games. Besides, if there's a wait, I can work on my gigantic backlog.

I was actually hoping for a stability update to see if it got rid of my 2168 error I keep getting, but no such luck. I think I'll have to send it in for repair.

Ugh, I had a friend that absolutely loved this game when it came out, and always forced me to play it. I actually don't remember that it was made by Delphine Software, that explains why the game DID have good animation.

This will be the fourth time I've bought MM X, haha. And I'm perfectly alright with that.

@BooJoh I've always loved it too, and seemingly in the same mindset. Is it close to the games? Obviously not. But it is a fun little sci-fi film that if viewed as having Mario influences, is very enjoyable to watch.

Not at all surprised, I'm pleased to see those numbers, and just like the Wii U does the 3DS just needed a few big name games to get it's momentum going.

@JogurtTheYogurt They state on the website that all the money will get refunded if they don't meet their goal.

@doctor_doak Oh I completely agree that they'll be fine with it, just that it'll take some time. The 3ds was in the exact same position more or less and it more than drastically turn around. The more I think about what you said, the more sense it makes. I've REALLY been wondering why they have barely been promoting it yet, and that very well could be a valid reason!

@doctor_doak Very interesting theory, and I kind of hope its correct! It does kind of make sense when you think about it. I also think that they've got stuff hidden up their sleeves, and if you're right, that would be a pretty amazing turnaround.

I'm pretty sure that's all everyone is waiting for, Nintendo's big names to come out. I don't have nearly as much time to play games anymore, so I don't really mind, but I really hope the console picks up momentum, and soon.
