@Ghost_of_Hasashi "The last time Monster World IV was included for western audience was on the Sega Genesis Mini and before that was included as part of Nintendo Wii Virtual Console's Hanabi Festival title, and before that it was also on the Sega Channel just like Mega Man: The Wily Wars, Golden Axe 3, Zero Wing, and Pulseman."

The first official English release was on PS3 (not sure about XBox360).

The guy got taste. I mean his favourite Playstation game is SotN. I've been waiting for any RPG from Camelot, being a huge Shining Force fan who also enjoyed the Golden Sun games.

@glaemay Always good to see another Shining Force fellow fan. I believe they have been making the Mario Golf games (although I don't know if they have made one recently).

Shining Force 1&2 are included in the Genesis Collection for anyone interested. Don't get discouraged by the Strategic battles. It plays more like a traditional RPG than the post-FFT SRPG offerings.

@Moroboshi876 Actually, the new DQ1-2-3 ports are mainly based on the mobile versions. In the case of DQ1 and DQ2, I would say it's an improvement over the SNES remakes, but the DQ3 mobile port lacks the monsters animations found in the SNES remake during battles:

Edit: argh, youtube time stamps are not working here.

It's a great way to standardize progress for game completionists and discover secrets that you may otherwise not know about. Let's say you plan to 100% a metroidvania game. To what extent do you consider the game 100% completed? Covering 100% of the map? Collecting all items? Completing the bestiary? Viewing all endings? ... Etc etc. Surely you can do all this on your own, but it's nice to have a standard checklist for all gamers to follow in a game, and gauge their progress during the play time. Most good games have a well-designed list, some don't.

Nintendo usually have their own in-game completion list, but it would be nice to have it available for all games that already support achievements / trophies.
