Re: Japan Voted On Final Fantasy's Best Games And Characters - Do You Agree With The Ranking?

ADog

i find there’s an increasing amount of snobbery with the final fantasy games in recent years. With a sort of universal agreement that 6 is best and a degree of vitriol if you go against that, personally speaking my faves change between 7, 9, 10 and 14 regularly, i’ve grown to love 10, and can really understand why it would be number 1. but i could make an argument for most of them tbh and that’s what’s good about the final fantasy series.

@AlternateButtons I'm not sure you can say it's nonsense. Mine started about 3 months after launch, my son's started about 6 month after I bought it for him. My two friends who own switches have both sent theirs back, one multiple times , it's annoying and it's very real and nothing to do with 'not looking after hardware' my switch is immaculate.... It's a design fault plain and simple

Re: Nintendo Intends To Create The Next Generation Of Controllers

Good, cos the joycons are trash. Great idea but the build is rubbish. I've posted this before but myself and pretty much everyone I know has had serious drift issues to the point of unplayable at one point or another.... Never had this on any other controller on any system that I can recall.

Final fantasy XII and Sonic Team Racing. I'm surprised by the fairly negative reaction to Sonic Racing by commenters. I love Mario Kart, sunk hundreds of hours into it but I wouldn't even try to compare the two. STR is solid so far, Im loving the challenges and time trials and it feels much more like an out and out racer than a 'kart' game per se....I respect that it's trying to set itself apart and do something unique and Im sure I'm gonna get my money's worth out of it.

Re: Reminder: Nintendo Sending Out Survey About Daemon X Machina Demo

I was bitterly disappointed to be honest....I thought it looked great in all the previews.... But playing it I thought it was fairly dull. The aiming was woeful and twitchy (granted that could be me) , the mech moved at a snail's pace, the combat felt meh..... It actually strangely reminded me of Unit 13 on Vita. Pretty. But just.... empty.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want From A Switch Mini?

@duffmmann Yeah I think it's exactly that though. They would HAVE to change the build . I don't think they can persevere with them as they are, it must effect so many people I'm surprised more hasn't been made of it. It's probably credit to it being such a great machine that's it's flown under the radar. That and you can send them way for repair/replace and still have a machine. Hardwire them as-is to a new switch and have to send the whole unit away would be a big problem....

They can't fuse the controller's. They'd have to actually work for more than 6 months. The drift on mine is ridiculous. My mate has had 3 yes, 3 send backs for repair. Every one I know who owns one has experienced drift at some stage... It's kinda getting silly.... Love my switch. Fave console at the moment....but seriously those joy cons need a redesign, the just aren't durable.
