I'm not surprised. They could only do better than the crap they've been doing for the past 2 years. Not to mention the amazing e3 performance and the introduction of amiibos and the potential money to be made there.

Certainly turned me into a potential and very likely buyer. Question is wll there be a smash bundle or should I just get a wii u now?

@retro_player_22 you can't blame them after they put a ton of effort in zombiu and it failed to break 100k units. Ubisoft gave full fledged support until the wii u lost them a ton of money. They'll come back, but only once they can make a profit. They're a business after all.

Tough week, all were legit great, but gotta go with rayman. I'm hoping for more third party trophies like bomberman simon belmont, and snake provided he doesn't get in which looks unlikely now.

YES! Finally a GOOD character choice that I like. If true, this is an insta-buy for me.

I'm not even excited for this because of smash, but I would be very hyped if there was no smash 3ds. I'll almost certainly still buy this.

If it comes to the US, I'll buy this instead of waiting for a smash bundle.

At first I was indifferent, but now I'm very happy with his decision. Lucina as a clone isn't even too big of a deal anyways because of custom movesets.

Also, I'm hoping the QoL includes nintendo merch so I can decorate my consoles and rooms with the stuff. It's something so obvious, but so dumb for them not to have done for so long. There's next to no merch for anything other than a few mario products out there, so creating some zelda, metroid, smash, starfox, dk, pikmin, animal crossing, and kirby merch would generate extra money and brand awareness of their smaller franchises.

@Webby-sama there's no way someone can be this silly. You assume that everyone is calling for a revolution, but most of us are just very upset and let down because the previous prizes were very high quality and this is unprecedented.I refuse to comment further (unless my jimmies are very rustled which is rare or you give me great amusement a la @shadow4SSB).

@Unca_Lz what @Navyspheal said. I can't speak for everyone, but all I was asking for was a physical item option. Whatever it was, a shirt, a poster, cards, pins, whatever it is just toss it my way. Even stickers or a postcard would have been fine. There's nothing wrong with digital rewards, there's just always been a standard that all previous awards were not only physical items, but very unique physical items. I like showing off my loyalty to videogames (mostly nintendo) with merch. I can't show that I reached platinum with a download game that is available for $10.

@CaPPa that would have at least fixed the issue of those who bought all the games already, but wouldn't be too much better for the rest of us.

@Unca_Lz I totally please understand your point that it costs no extra money (but it certainly makes people encouraged to buy that extra game or 2), but the time it takes just filling out those surveys, even with 1 sentence answers takes more time than the worth of these prizes at minimum wage.

@memeboy3 club nintendo certainly lost me provided they don't have any physical items after smash is released. How many people do you know (unless you're not old enough to work) are going to spend several hours to DOWNLOAD a $2 game?

Ok, fair point, let's double that and round it up to $10 per platinum member, it still is wrong. The internet and even this poll which has a bias towards nintendo is upset of this prize. Just when they had one of the best e3 presentations and perhaps THE best of all time, they lose many fans once again.

What I'm getting out of this is a $20 download game that I spent nearly $500 and several hours worth of filling out surveys. I could have worked and bought the game myself with money left over than filling out those surveys.

@jakysnakydx Techincally it's only 30 ice cream cones for 1 ice cream cone, but your point still stands.

@AlGator Yeah same here, but I'm going to hold out for something smash bros-related, but if not and it turns to only digital, I'll be done with it too. It's just not worth the time to fill out those surveys for a game that costs $5.

They could have spent less than $4 per platinum member for 3 posters per member. They don't have enough money for that?

@World that's part of the incentive to buying extra games. For me, there's games I will and won't buy regardless, but there's some I end up buying because of the promised platinum prize. If I wasn't already platinum this year, I wouldn't bother and probably won't bother going for it ever again.

Nintendo: Oh thank you platinum members who supported us in our time of need, thanks to your great loyalty, you get a $10 download only game code that you probably own anyways.

Anyone who defends this is definitely a drone. I mean, You spend hundreds of dollars reaching platinum hoping for special posters or a figure, but you end up getting a CHEAP download game. They're so terrible, they didn't even give a full retail download of $50 or $60.

@setupdisk I'm platinum and complaining. Once again, nintendo has completely lost me as far as hype and customer satisfaction goes. Too bad, I was on a spend all my money on nintendo games and accessories craze. Just spend around $500 since e3, but now I won't be getting anything until smash.

Also, chrom is said by the announcer, which could very well mean he's either unlockable or playable, so let's not jump to conlusions just yet that he isn't in the game

Majora's mask is my personal favorite because it took risks more than any other zelda. It perfected the collectathon craze of the turn of the millenium, and was dark.

All signs are pointing to shulk but nonetheless every minute feels like 7 eternities while my heart is constantly racing and the agony of not having the character reveal at this moment feels like a thousand needles piercing through me.

Such a letdown, but if it only raised $377, how could it have much content? I hope they get more funding so they can actually make a decent game.
