Hoping the next 3DS VC-related news is GBA games for the service. Also, free!

Hey, they'll be out when they're out. Besides, I've got Okamiden, Pokemon, Muramasa, REMake, Perfect Dark, Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos: EWATLO, Madworld, Golden Sun: DD, and several other games I have yet to beat to occupy my time.

Anyways, all I want for Christmas is good games, HD support, and better graphics. I love my Wii and all, but my GC Resident Evil 4 looks almost better than most of the other Wii games I own, with a few exceptions.

@28: yeah, it did have a sequel, but it was released for the satellite thingamajig that was only released in Japan.

Interesting name. ...I predict many jokes similar to the ones when the Wii was announced as its name.
I don't think it'll come in October, though. Hardware shortages for xmas and all. I think that, if it comes out next year, between January and March. People will have gift cards from xmas, and they'll be wanting to spend them.

The upcoming software will pretty much make the PSP drop off the charts.

When DOES the E-shop launch?

This is Mario Kart. It looks pretty close to complete, from what I've heard.

Fake, for one thing it's in English. Nintendo is a Japanese company. For another, Nintendo wouldn't abandon motion-controlling this early, after all the profit it's brought them this generation. However, I wonder if it's backwards compatible with Wii AND Gamecube games? That would pretty much make this an early purchase, if the first-gen lineup is good.

I wish it was June already. Though, since it's Retro, whatever they're making is in good hands.

I prefer the classy NA art. Besides, the NA one reminds me more of the original art.

I might not like the Super Guide, but that doesn't mean someone else won't be desperate to use it at some point in the game. Boss Rush sounds awesome. Master Quest mirror won't matter, sinc eI didn't play the original. I wonder if there's more content that has yet to be revealed, because, outside of MQ, there isn't much incentive for people that already played OoT, other than to experience its majesicness again.

As long as the system has great games, I don't care what happens with the new console.

This sounds good. I still think it's a bit early for them to be releasing a new system because, as several people pointed out, the 3DS just being launched. Gamers only have so much money, and Nintendo knows it. I still think they'll wait until next year to announce when they're going to release it and whatnot. However, they probably are showing a prototype of the controller/console, like with the Wii.

Yep, we do need another Stadium. It would be kind of weird to finally attach the coveted "3" at the end, though, as Stadium hasn't been used as a name since 2001.

I don't know, this seems more like a way to squeeze out all the life they can out of the Wii in the next year. They've announced several titles that are most likely going to come within the next year, if not early 2012 (Pandora's Tower, Last Story, Xenoblade, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Conduit 2, Kirby, and whatever else'll come out of E3 Thanks MasterGraveheart), and Nintendo wants the games to sell. However, they most likely would not sell (except for Zelda, possibly Kirby) if Nintendo officially announced that they were making a new console. Sales for both the games and the console would drop, making Nintendo lose money, creating another Earthbound story.

Sounds like an okay list. Could be better, but there's been worse (other than Ocarina)

If it was cheaper, then it would be selling a lot faster than it is right now, which is still something Sony and Microsoft would kill for.

Don't be mad, people. He's just taking out his frustrations that he can't make something original to save his life. Motion-controlling, anyone? The only fully original thing in recent memory I can recall Sony coming up with first is the PSP Go, and we all know how that turned out.
Edit: Along with the touch pad on the back of the NGP. IMAGINE! A touch screen on the back of a system! How did no one else come up with it first?!
On another note, Sony's marketshare has been going down recently. Wonder if he's going through the same problem Nintendo did with the N64 and Gamecube, and if so, how he's going to get through it.

@66: Yeah, No More Heroes and Madworld are the only other Wii action games I can think of off the top of my head. NOA, release this in America.

It looks like 2011 will be an excellent year for the Wii and 3DS, and possibly one for the DS as well (Fire Emblem 12 (hopefully), and another game, Shin Megami Tensei I think, with maybe more announced at E3). However, I'm not holding my breath in terms of DS releases.

Idiot parents. For one thing, there's all the warnings about the 3D not being recommended for people ages 6 and under, then there's all the other warnings as you start the system up for the first time, then there's the fact that you can lower the depth slider, then there's the freaking instruction manual. God, please save us humans from our own idiocy.

Happy Anniversary! It still seems like yesterday when I had just gone onto VC-reviews (I wasn't a member at the time, sadly), and got Nintendolife instead. I think I might have missed a post or something, because I kept clicking the link box and retyping vc-reviews.com and kept getting even more frustrated when this site came up. Ah, to be younger and stupider again...

This, along with Zelda and Last Story (if it comes out of Japan (which is fairly likely)), will be the Wii's swansong. Which means that they will be very good at minimum, if not some of the best games on the system.

I FINALLY completed my GC RE collection last week, and now it looks like there'll be another large batch released for 3DS. Happiness.

You get what you pay for. Which would you rather have, a game that costs $1 and only lasts a few minutes, or a game that costs $50 and lasts you anywhere from several weeks to several years (depending on the amount of content)? For shame, Rovio, for shame.

One of the main reasons I'm getting a 3DS is because of this game. You need to use the shoulder buttons to use the Celestial Brush, and those don't work on my DSi. As for games... Meh, I'll either pick up nintendogs or finally get around to getting Radiant Historia

More unlockable character would be fine for me, as just four characters at the moment on a (most likely) one- or two- gig cart of a full game wouldn't be that great of a deal, even though it has stuff from both RE4 and RE5.
Tofu mode would be pretty cool too.

I like the fact that SMG2 won best gameplay, and I'd like to say that it should have won Best Game, but I have yet to play ME2. And again, I would like to say that it should have won Best Music, but I've never played HR, either. As for GAME... COD (Fishy!) shouldn't even have been nominated. Multiplayer? Fine. Graphics? Whatever. GAME? No, just no.
And on the subject of portables, how did Sonic Colors lose to Cut the Rope? And how was Shantae, Pokemon, and Professor Layton not even nominated? The world is a screwed-up place.

Hey, just the fact that the Water Temple is made somewhat more functional, along with the updated graphics/sound, pretty much made this a day 1.

I didn't think I could get any more excited, but this hand on changed my mind. I'll be counting down the days.

You know, I didn't freak out because, even though I live in Philly, I read the article:
"To give consumers a firsthand look at these unique features, interactive Nintendo 3DS Demo Pods and mobile Nintendo 3DS Demo Squads will be in select U.S. cities starting March 11, offering sampling opportunities at more than 40 locations in cities nationwide."
Now if it didn't come to Pennsylvania, then I would be angry.
