There have been a few titles from the lengthy Japanese Switch eShop line-up getting confirmed for the West, and now Vroom in the Night Sky joins the ranks. Previously known as 'that weird Japanese eShop game' among some in our team, it's heading to North America and PAL territories on 3rd March.
Ostensibly a motorbike game, it's nevertheless entirely fantastical as you swoop around pulling off magical moves as a witch. It looks fun, in an anarchic way.
Developer Poisoft does have a decent track record, having produced Splash or Crash / Kersploosh! on the 3DS eShop.
Another one battling for your launch day eShop credit; does it stand much of a chance?
Thanks to all that sent this in.

Eh...
The trees textures looked bad.
Not really impressive.
Not sure if I've witnessed a game announcement or slipped into a fever dream
Is it supposed to be a racing game?
What the.....?!
Looks really bad
Looks like an interesting.... start?
Very rushed.
Wow. The Nintendo switch will have great exclusives
Looks messy
Ugh..... these kind of rushed crap games give indies a bad rep.
Why does this remind me of Diddy Kong Racing? lol
What did I even just watch?
Honestly reminded me of Superman 64.
yeah, i looks pretty bad.
I think that looked alright, bonkers, but alright, hopefully not £20 though.
For all the magical references it has on the right side of the screen, it sure looks cursed to me.
If it was around the £5 mark maybe but if it's some £20-30 game I think not
For some reason the Japanese trailer shows off different footage. It looks a little like Pilotwings, with a magical girl, on a motorcycle, flying, etc.

the driving looks super hard to control.
It's out on launch, never heard of before, yet it wasn't in today's indie showcase.
I hope that isn't too telling of the gameplay.
I don't mean to be rude but this looks like it was made by a couple guys in their high school. It might be ok, but I wouldn't drop more a fiver, and no guarantee at that with so many other quality nindies o display.
Is this a joke ?
Not for me but happy its coming here
I'm not sure why every one is complaining about this. I'm getting some Kirby Air Ride vibes from this.
LOL 'that weird Japanese eShop game' sums it up fairly well. I almost feel harsh saying this but if it was 99p, I would actually pick this up. I imagine this will be one of the first games to be discounted, and will probably be on the weekly discount list fairly often.
It looks awful... wonder if it's actually any fun... Maybe I'll pick it up if it's 1€...
I hope that's a test build. The character was nicely detailed but the world was so low poly it feels like placeholder content.
The Atari Jaguar style polygonal graphics are nice. Might check this out.
Haha! It looks like a Steam Greenlight game.
No thanks.
Was this originally developed for N64?
That looks bad......lol!
Looks like someone took Unity 101 and regurgitated parts of what they learned into this. They didn't even bother to give the character movement animations of any sort - It's just a motionless object that rotates. Hell the wheels on the motorcycle aren't even spinning.
Nope!
It kind of looks like Kirby Air Ride's City Trial mode in a sense.
2 out of 10 for........originality.....ok, maybe not lol. If anything it reminded me of Knights Into Dreams but a very bad version of it.
Well that was embarrassing..
I don't think it looks rather fun to play.
This looks like some uncovered Sega prototype. If Unseen64 dug it up, I'd think "wow, that looked cool I wish they made that into a game!" As is, it looks like a really cool idea with nothing yet to do with it but collect stars in barren environs.
I hope Nintendolife does what they do best, and review every eShop game, cuz nobody else will;)
I want t like it because...Magical Girl on a motorcycle but the execution is horrible.
Idea is interesting, but it does look fairly rough on the edges and like it'd be hard to control. Could use some more polish as it feels rushed to make launch date.
