just been on the eshop and noticed that zombiu is in the demo section? couldnt see if i could download it, coz of the time restriction, im in the uk by the way.
Yeah, it's only for europe and australia so far. I have no idea what the content of the demo is like (i haven't bothered to get it), but it's great to see Nintendo rolling out proper demos for games. This is the dawn of an era of software parity for them.
Where is the demo in the Wii U eshop?
In both Wii U Demo folders are only demos of Fifa and Rayman and in the Zombie U folder are just 3 pictures...
I am from germany and it is in the rated 18 time frame, why is there no demo available?
Does anyone know why?
Played it, not for me, not because of the gameplay, visuals or anything technical, it's because I'm an absolute wuss and felt freaked out the whole time XD, but from what I did play, I actually enjoyed and immediately caught on to the timing of the cricket bat. I MIGHT get this game in the future
I would say any regular game would be better than this IMO. Using the GamePad in a different and exclusive way was cool, but it lacked alot in my eyes. I really hope they release more demos, because I wish I could have gotten this one so I wouldn't have bought it...

Tried some of it. Really not sure if it's my type of game. Maybe I'm tried from work today, I dunno. Only used one of my limited tries of the demo, so another time, I'll try it again.

Great game! That was honestly the most intense game I've ever played! 0 ammo and leaving the nursery school was parylizing. Don't know if I want that for 8-10 straight hours. I may die early... Lol
Demo's pretty good. Beat it with my third survivor. Took a bit getting used to the controls, but I haven't played an FPS with dual analogs in forever. Just take it slow and you'll be fine. And don't be afraid to run.

It's the nursery level, I think it has four floors. Dunno if it's the same layout-wise as the full game. I don't wanna say too much and spoil it for other people.

Tried the demo, not really a fan of this sort of game. Played it for a bit, killed four or five zombies, didn't die (although it did get a bit tense when that one started attacking me from behind)... got to I think the third floor down and needed a keycard. Ran around looking for the keycard pretty much everywhere and couldn't find it. Then the "FPS dark corridor" nausea started to kick in a bit and I turned it off.
Didn't find it scary or that new so I really doubt I'll get it. The gamepad things were interesting and I guess if you're into this sort of game it's a little point of difference because of it. If it was a third person game I'd be more interested (the RE: Revelations demo on 3DS I had no problems with) but as it is? Meh. I don't think it's interesting enough to me to push through it.
I also wasn't impressed and glad I hadn't bought the game sight unseen. It confirmed my feelings from previous experience with dual-stick controls for first-person games: utter pants. When nothing is happening, fine, but when trying to fight, no. I cannot imagine how crap it would have been without aim assist on. I threw it in after ending up somewhere so dark I couldn't see anything and my in-game pad signal was so weak that the screen frizted out. Realistic maybe, but aimlessly searching a room for a door wasn't my idea of fun.
I'm just not a big enough fan of survival horror to want to fight with the controls (two buttons to attack was also weird). The only Resident Evil game I ever liked was the 4th one, so it's not for me generally, but if no one is going to use remote+nunchuk controls for first-person games on Wii U, I guess I'll just stick to playing Jedi Knight and Half-Life 2 on my Mac when I feel like playing that kind of game.
