@ChocoGoldfish Scribblenauts isn't for everyone, you need an imagination to enjoy that game. Of course you'd need an imagination to enjoy Ape Escape too lol!
If imagination is all you need to enjoy Scribblenauts, I have a dictionary that + imagination achieves the same thing.
Of course, the dictionary has an unfair advantage in that it doesn't control like crap.

It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Portal craftedbaked the best character of this generation, GLaDOS, and remains the best example of minimalist storytelling I have ever seen (Portal 2 was pretty awesome too)
You don't see to many FPS/Puzzle games out there. Portal was definitely one of the stand out games made this gen.

You also need to be capable of withstanding physics that could make Newton cry, and controls that make Shaq Fu seem playable.
It's hard to say, really. Portal 2 is easily one of the best of this generation, so probably that. But then Arkham City is also absolutely brilliant, and will never ever get boring. Fallout 3 is also brilliant, and I love Halo 3 like you wouldn't believe. Then there's also NSMBW, DKCR, and Brawl. And I'd argue that Wii Sports is one of the best this gen as well.
I'm just gonna go ahead and say New Super Mario Bros. Wii is the best game I've played this gen. And frankly, it might even be my favourite Mario game.
Maybe.
The best strategy in the game: go up stairs and pause balls.
