Try what again. Factually the game is a gamecube game. It was just ported to the wii with a clipped map and minor motion controls. And that was joke in his thewii specs are very similar to the gamecube specs.
So if my favorite game on Wii was Okami it wouldn't count? Nor would Resident Evil 4?

Technically this gen started with the release of the Xbox 360 and that was November 22, 2005. Twilight Princess was released November 2006 on the Wii and a month later on the Gamecube. So therefore by being released after November 22, 2005 (The start of the current gen of video games) it therefore qualifies as a this gen game.

The Mario Galaxy games are just masterpieces when it all comes down. Sadly I have not played much of Skyward Sword yet but from what I have experienced I wouldn't be surprised if was a new favorite. Donkey Kong Country Returns, Rayman Origins, an Metroid Prime Trilogy were all fantastic as well.
