I know I am listening/reading a person (often a child) ignorant about gaming when they refer to the WiiU/nextbox/PS4 as Gen4 and think generations are defined by graphics.

I don't download retail games (except if they are free gifts, like the last club.nintendo promotion) so I think I'll be fine with 32GB for eShop games. Im a regular downloader for eShop only and 3D classics and Im not even half way of the 32 GB limit.

I got 1586m on yestreday's challenge, 20.26s on today's one and only got to 38.31s in the weekly... after spending 18 hours on the game of course. Its a shame you have to unlock the extreme ones, I missed yesterday's (They're way harder, got diamond cups in all regular challenges so far, and barely made it to silver on today's extreme)

Kids nowadays don't actually think while gaming and most even find it offensive when a game requires them to do so, they'd rather just shoot everywhere or sit and watch a game full of cutscenes in their nowadays games from new IPs (most of them, not all)

Wow! NAM-1975! When new systems were announced for VC, I researched for their first and most representative titles... this is the first Neo Geo game! I spent years waiting for this, but at this point and at the same prices I'm not sure if I'll get it and I wouldn't like 100 spare points just floating there in my account. I didn't see that coming, even if it was to be expected now that most known fighting Neo Geo titles have been released. With this my hope on Mayhem in Monsterland, Devil's World and Mario's Super Picross is renewed, if any of those is released Ill sure get it with NAM.

I am really going to miss all of them, sure I used them much more time back when they were launched, but I still check them 2 or 3 times a week each. We get news and forecast in many other ways, but Ill miss their style (the cat mostly). Dark Gary and Alison will live forever in my Wii memories (I cried during last episode). Check Mii Out left a legacy of Miis which wouldn't otherwise come to exist (including my 200+ Miis, yes I made a Mii for every contest... and only placed 1st on one). I wonder if my perfect attendance record of Everybody Votes polls will remain or be viewable.

Yes, but at a lower price than that of the image. I'll end up getting it anyway for collectible purposes (and I prefer official products) but I have more than enough spare jackets and I don't think I need spare straps or a craddle, take those out and go lower.

Right, people with affinity for Nintendo tend to be less rational and more emotional in their reactions to Pachter, but that fact alone doesn't imply that all people who accept his comments are rational, nor that his comments are rational and thoughtful.

Right, protecting investors from ploughing their money into a company which won’t give them a return is his job, but it doesn't mean that he does exactly that in the practice. Mostly his information is right but incomplete, only expanding on Nintendo's mistakes, ignoring or diminishing their strengths and opportunities while overrating MS. Incomplete information and his biased analysis (most of the time) leads me to think he uses his job to drive public perception and investment in the best way for him, his business fellows and/or the firm he works, not the best way for investors.

I am the kind of person that most of the time hates changes, so four years ago when I found that my beloved sites for WiiWare VC reviews (and possibly the only ones) that I found and loved since 2007 were going to merge with another I was sad and feared it would no longer be the same great and friendly site covering every download. Happily I was proved wrong, and even when I miss the style of the old vc-reviews.com it more than makes up for it with the Nintendo moments I have lived here and the previous sites (VC Imports and more systems, Wii SD card update, club.nintendo, new Pokémon generations, 3DS launch and ambassador, Nintendo Directs, Wii U reveal and launch, F-Zero AX included in GX... just to name a few) awesome community (writers and readers), features, contests, and all the Nintendo news a Nintendo fanboy like me could wish compiled under a single, trusty site. Happy anniversary NL, I hope its just the beginning of a very long life of my daily go-to site when it comes to games.

Most likely April's fool joke (I'd fell if it weren't for the comments), but it may be true, I mean its not nearly as crazy and impossible as the gamefaqs one, or as dumb and redundant as the one here last year (or the one before that) about 3DS. Its actually a nice, good idea for us and very doable, cheap and profitable for Nintendo (It would tackle my "If its the same game with no extras I'd rather track the actual cart" stance on VC, in the same way that Miiverse, GamePad and 30c prices did on WiiU)

Bought it on day one on WiiWare. I was holding some hope on this one reaching the threshold since it hasn't dropped from the popular list on Wii Shop since launch.

Its always really hard for me to pick a favorite, but out of that list it'd be MM2.

Is the patch doing anything else besides the promised freezing fix?

This feature reminded me about the Luigi adventure he talks about on Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, I've always loved the idea of a game (or at least DLC) about it, and what better timing that the year of Luigi. Come on Nintendo, make it happen.

I think he is overreacting and disagree with his view of Zelda and Nintendo as a whole. I agree with his comments (not his overreaction) about Wii U, except for the "hardcore" shooters he wants on Wii U that I didnt even knew they existed before media and "hardcore" gamers started ranting about not being on Wii U... and after some research, I dont have the slightest interest on them, as most Nintendo fans.

Nothing for me this week, but too busy with LEGO City and Luigi to care about this.

In my opinion third parties should focus and invest more in the quality of the game and not in those expensive and useless gimmicks. I love special editions and bundles, but I start thinking there's no sense in getting them when there are more than 3 different bundles of the same game and you cant carry home by yourself (walking) the biggest one. In most cases they are overexploited series with few to offer on the actual game.

It may not be mentioned in the Press Release nor visibly announced on eShop, but MH3U tools were released a couple hours ago on both 3DS and WiiU eShops!

If its not easy and cheap to get em all (just 2 or 3 travels to store), I will be skipping it

I actually decide based on gameplay videos, I only read reviews to get some details clarified and see what others are thinking and get an idea on how it'll sell.

I have literally thousands of coins, but I prefer having original game carts than VC and my System Memory is already full of DSiWare (I hate moving them to SD). I would get Kid Icarus because of the 3D effect, but I have it already, I preordered Uprising.

I love the Banjo-Kazooie games and own every BK game on Nintendo consoles, including this and Banjo Pilot. Glad to see it reviewed here.

Yes, the AX machines and courses can be unlocked in GX alone, but I think everyone is forgetting there are 3 custom machine pieces that can only be unlocked having your Memory Card insterted on an AX arcade. Great news for me, and any completionist! Actually, I take that back, this is a historical moment for Nintendo or F-Zero fans.

Same as @allav886 , my 3DS System Memory is completely full of DSiWare (also, Im not fan of moving DSiWare between SD ans System) and I prefer retro games in their original format. Nothing for me this time, Í only get 3DS games or WiiWare from CN.

I hope Retro City is still coming. Nothing for me this week, MegaMan 2 is a great game, but as most VC games I rather play it on my NES.

I don't know if I should rush and buy everything I have been postergating from the Wii Shop Channel in case they are removing titles, or if I should wait and buy after the maintenance just in case this emergency implies my credit card info or Wii is at risk.

I am among those who say Joker and Vader shouldnt qualify for this list, they may have appeared as villians in some games, but that characters were not designed as video game villians and their popularity grew from other media. Also many people like me dont even have idea who that #2 guy is, unlike most of the other villians in the list.
