I know the delay on the Wii U version of Watchdogs sucks, but at least Ubisoft makes Wii U games and good ones at that, neither of which EA does. Look at it this way: it's that or a broken version of it to accompany the other versions. They can hardly get it done before the next E3 as is, and they want as little people as possible to suffer another delay. As for Rayman Legends, I've heard Microsoft has a policy that bans developers from releasing multi-platform games on other systems first, so complain to Microsoft about that. You can question why it went multi-platform, but here's the hard truth: it wouldn't be profitable. They need money for their jobs to provide for their families, you know? You can say I'm making excuses, but if you want more 3rd party games, when a decent one like Watchdogs come, buy it if you want more. You helped bring lack of 3rd party support upon yourself by boycotting good 3rd party games even. Some people on here refuse to support 3rd party developers, but if you're complaining about lack of support, give them a reason to support when they try. I believe this won't change the close-minded mentality of fanboys, as Playstation fanboys continued to be ignorant when I tried to explain how the PS4 isn't divine and superior because it's Playstation, but listen. Not every developer is perfect. Look at Nintendo, still no proper Network accounts in 2014. They should've started working on those years ago. They didn't start to finish what they left off on in 2012 until recently. They just made a team dedicated to finishing it two years after they left off when they were already behind. No brand is perfect, stop with the fanboyism. I've seen Push Square and Nintendo Life have had a bit of a bias catering to fanboys lately, and it has disappointed me. Can we please look at the other side too?

Ubisoft are great and they make awesome games. They have supported Nintendo's Wii U when no one else would and I'm grateful. They're no way near perfect (like Nintendo) but I like them all the same (like Nintendo)
Is that a real game? I know the curling mini game on Imagine Figure Skaters which was awesome, but did they really have a stand alone curling game for DS?
Ubisoft has been dumb at points, but it's at least the type of dumb I understand the logic behind their decisions and I feel when they aren't focusing on casual gaming (and arguably sometimes when they are) they maintain a high level of quality gaming with some interest in still being interesting and creative and doing their own thing,. Though YMMV on how much of that is based on how bad some of their competition can be by comparison.
Like most third parties, Ubi's games don't sell on Wii U. The Nintendo fanboys can p*ss, b**ch and moan and make all the excuses they want, but at the end of the day Ubisoft is a business and like any business it has to make decisions to best set itself to make money.

It's a real game, and I actually enjoy it. It's a pretty good curling sim, though inexplicably you can only play as the Canadian Women's team. You play a season against like 9 other nations, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't just let the player choose one of the other countries. Despite that, it's a solid, inexpensive curling game.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
The argument I point out about Nintendo fans not buying 3rd party games- is that I have bought 3 different Ubisoft games and I hated them all. They felt cheap and unnatural to play- why should I buy a product I don't like to 'Support 3rd party on the Wii U? I'm happy to buy WB games (4 games) and Sega (2 games) and Platinum because the feel like finished products with decent control systems and weighted characters.
I'm not shaken by the delay. If Ubisoft says they need to make a game multiplatform and it just so happens to affect the release schedule or that they need more time, it would be much wiser to just respect their decision and move on.
I'll probably still end up buying it for Wii U, because I don't have and won't have an Xbox One for a while, it has the GamePad, free online, and it looks like a decent game, No hard feelings here.

I think if someone went to Ubisoft's HQ and asked them what they think of the WiiU, they'd still say they love the system and want to see it succeed. Maybe they'll also tack on something about how sales haven't been great so far, but any animosity they have for Nintendo is likely on a business level, not a hardware level.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
No, they aren't that bad. They're doing what they have to do. They've released a lot of good games on the Wii U and people ignore them, so this is a logical step.
..Now, if only they'd make a sequel to Lost Magic exclusively for the Wii U. That won't happen though, I doubt they'll ever make a Wii U exclusive ever again. Probably never see a sequel to Zombi U either, which is a shame because it was much better than I had anticipated.
Ubisoft is a smattering of little issues that amount to one really big issue, and when it threatens your favorite console maker, yes, it becomes a bigger problem that it originally is.
Going to have to side with MrGawain here. The whole "We don't support 3rd parties just because we don't support Ubisoft" argument is about the most unintelligible bunch of statements i've ever had the displeasure of glancing over.
Ignoring their business practices and just judging them by the quality of their software, they are pretty crappy.
Sure, some of their games can be fun, but their 3D games have so far been plagued by bugs, glitches and are just generally unpolished. After the crappy Splinter Cell Blacklist, I'm finished with them forever.
I've said his in another thread, but here it comes again:
the only game "you-be-soft" really gave the U a chance with, was the rushed ZombiU (don't get me wrong, I love the game). Rayman legends was scheduled for February 2013 but pushed to August 29 - September 3 2013, It would have launched unopposed in February, and the drought probably wouldn't have been the issue it became for the U. Instead it launched within a month of Pikmin 3, Disney Infinity, New Luigi U, Splinter Cell: Blacklist and Wonderful 101.
Now with the delay on Watch_Dogs they'll probably release it shortly after MarioKart 8, and U owners that have ps3/360 will probably buy it on that platform due to the earlier release, thus making sure it will fail when it comes to sales on the U.
On the matter of the U only making up 2% of you-be-softs profits, this is 3rd quarter numbers, what did you-be-soft release for the U in the 3rd quarter? Ass-Creed IV: Black Flag, before the release, they announced their gimping of the U version with no dlc, again making many people avoid the U's version. On top of all this think about this: the 2% is of every platform, EVERY, Xbone, 360, Ps3, Ps4, Wii, Wii U and pc, if you only count 360/ps3 they have a combined userbase of (October 2013 numbers) 160 million! Do you still think you-be-soft have been genuinely supporting the U?
I'm still getting Watch_Dogs for the U, but don't paint a picture of you-be-soft giving the U a chance to sell their products.
